SERVICE was not great from the waitress. She completely forgot our appetizer and also forgot our bread and she was not very friendly. But the manager was amazing and very accommodating. We stopped by Bonefish Grill at the King of Prussia Mall for a post-business trip dinner, and overall had a great time--mostly thanks to the attentive service and a few standout bites. We kicked things off with the classic Bang Bang Shrimp, which delivered as expected--crispy, flavorful, and always a crowd-pleaser. We also tried the crab cakes, which were softer in texture than I anticipated but definitely held their own when it came to flavor. Surprisingly, the standout item on the table wasn't even an entrée--it was the bread and olive oil. But this wasn't your standard fare. The oil had a chimichurri-like twist to it that was unique and packed with flavor. It felt like a fresh update from what I remember on past visits to Bonefish, and honestly, I'd come back just for that. On the drink side, I ordered a dry martini and was a little disappointed to learn that the cheese-stuffed olives--my usual favorite--were unavailable. The pimento olive replacement just didn't quite hit the mark for me, though the drink itself was fine. For my main, I had the filet. While it was cooked to the right temp, the meat quality felt a bit underwhelming, especially compared to dedicated steakhouses. Then again, it is Bonefish Grill, so my expectations weren't sky-high in that department. What really elevated the evening was the service--attentive and on point, likely helped by the fact that the restaurant wasn't too busy. All in all, a solid experience. It's not a steakhouse, and it's not trying to be, but for seafood-forward dining with good service and a few unexpected highlights (looking at you, bread and oil), Bonefish still holds up. read more

I opted for my usual/favorite dish - pecan parmesan crusted rainbow trout (with extra artichokes), brussel sprouts, and broccoli. Chef's kiss! And of course, the complimentary bread with olive oil and a few dollops of pesto... absolutely delectable! The dim lighting fits the vibe of the restaurant, as always. This may sound odd, but, Bonefish Grill has some of the best water to me. LOL! They really do. Not just here, various locations across the country. It was the bartender's last day. Everyone Calle four and she was left to make all the drinks and take orders at a full bar. She looked like she was going to pass out. I felt bad for her. She was asking for help but there was no one to help her. I am glad we were able to put our food and drinks in early. We received this all before a glass of water. After about 15-20 minutes we were sat at a table in the dining area. Ordered the meal for two which was a great ideal ( you get 4 meats and 2 sides and 2 salads). Matt replied, "well because you have accents like you're not from here." He continued to add, that my assistant eyes look strange. I replied well that's the shape of his eyes. I asked for a new server and out of all the servers he sends over a server with the same skin tone to serve us. We were immediately further disgusted and walked out. The atmosphere was very pleasing to the eye, but the music was a little too loud despite to the point where you couldn't really hear the person across the table from you. The restaurant was pretty empty so I wasn't sure why the music needed to be so loud. Service was very prompt and friendly. Our server was very knowledgeable. Although the menu was diverse to accompany different palettes, a lot of the fried food was over salted. I ordered the Baja fish tacos. It was pretty good flavor-wise, but the fish itself was off. Bonefish Grill has a unique set of seafood dishes to choose from. My party ordered fish tacos and fish and chips. Each order came with fries that weren't soggy despite being soaked under the fish. The fish and chips cod was fall off the bone. The fish tacos was dripping from all the juices. Our server was very polite and friendly. They checked on us a reasonable amount but not to the point of disturbance. The restaurant at the time of attending was nearly empty. Although it was lunchtime on a Friday afternoon. The space itself is quiet and for a seafood place quite romantic. The lightning gives off a calm and warming environment, best for eating any food. Wasn't horrible but not for me. Maryland Style Crab Cakes (Freshly made crab cakes served with a red sauce) - 1 Star* I never taste Crab cakes so damn fishy, it was terrible !!! Main Entree: Chicken & Shrimp - Grilled chicken Breast topped with Mango sauce, with Jumbo Shrimps served with Asparagus & Mash Potatoes - 1 Star* Chicken had a little flavor but dry. There was no Mango sauce, just a diced Mango with peppers. The shrimp was overly seasoned, somewhat inedible. Mash Potatoes & Asparagus were okay at best. Sirloin & Shrimp - Sirloin Steak, with Jump Shrimps with Bacon Mac & Cheese and Cream Spinach - 1 Star* Order the Sirloin medium rare, came back well done. We didn't have a reservation so we had to wait for a table to open up, but it was only ~15 minutes so not a big deal. Our waitress throughout did an excellent job and was appropriately (not annoyingly!) attentive. First, the beer and wine selection was decent. There were a number of tasty options available, and it was definitely nice to be able to sit in a restaurant and drink a beer :) The food, in general, was pretty darn good but not amazing. We shared the Bang Bang Shrimp as an appetizer, and while they packed a decent flavor, they definitely felt like junk food somehow :) I got the Spicy Tuna Bowl as my entree - very tasty for sure and the favorite part of my meal. Finally, I managed to leave just enough room for a slice of cheesecake, which was good (but pretty basic). Honestly, it's pretty hard to mess up cheesecake! My gf and I both ordered the same steak combo med well, mines came out great her's was very pink. I also ordered the mussels as I've had them at the Newton square location and they was delish, the ones I had last night were lackluster very bland. The crab fries were tasty. I think bonefish need to add better plate presentation. I have more plate then food. Definitely bigger sides of mashed potato's. Great Service from Joaquan today 11/18 Brunch! Parents and I enjoyed the Sunday Brunch at the King of Prussia location. Mom and I each enjoyed the Bang Bang Shrimp Eggs Benedict that came with a side. I chose the mashed potatoes and my mom had the green beans. Best described as English muffins topped with crispy shrimp, a poached egg topped with not just Hollandaise sauce, but Bang Bang Hollandaise sauce. The spicy sauce had a nice zip of flavor and a great compliment to the entree. My father chose the Lobster and Filet Eggs Benedict. This was an English muffin topped with poached egg, one had lobster, one had filet and regular delicious Hollandaise sauce topped it off. For dessert I tried the chocolate creme brûlée and I enjoyed it. It was a very generous portion with fresh bakers whipped cream and chocolate shavings. My dad enjoyed the flourless brownie w vanilla ice cream. Our server Joquan took good care of us, pronounced "Ho kwan"- sorry for the bad spelling. He was knowledgeable, efficient and pleasant. Went to Bonefish Grill on 07/03/2024 at 7:15pm. With such great service and such great food, I would rate it on a scale as a level 100!. I was really surprised by the empty tables but I get that it's the day before the 4th. We walked in and were seated immediately as we asked for one with a fresh clean booth. The waiter we had ( James A) was very personable and welcoming, The servers and chefs were very cordial and we received our food after ordering in less than 10 minutes. The seafood and steak was perfect and better than legal seafoods. And everything was just a 10!!. I work in healthcare so being able to go somewhere and get top of the line food and service made my day on a Wednesday because I am usually too tired and irritated from the day and moving around. The manager was even helping customers and the servers which showed me that they work as a unit and even the management is willing to lift a hand and be there. The energy was very comfortable and the lighting helped set the mood along with the very funny and engaging staff, I like seeing people happy and enjoying their passion for the restaurant and food industry because there's nothing better than seeing your work and contribution have an effect on other people. I haven't been to Bonefish grill in about 5 years. This was my first time coming to this location and it was a very pleasant experience. We came in and were seated right away! Our server was Dominque, she was attentive, friendly, and gave a great recommendation for drinks. For appetizers we got the bang bang shrimp, which were very delicious and had the right amount of spice. We also had the crab fries which I was not a fan of just because I don't like lump crab meat that much. But my man really enjoyed them! For our entrees I chose Mahi Mahi with the jumbo shrimp and asparagus with whipped mash potatoes. The fish was really good seasoned well and so were the shrimp the only problem the shrimp were not jumbo, more so on the medium side. But they were tasty, the mash potatoes I could have done without no taste just bland. The asparagus was delicious! My man chose to get the parmesan crusted trout with macn cheese and cream spinach and a side of lobster! He loved all of his food! I didn't get a chance to take a picture of his trout unfortunately lol . Our dinner was real delicious and we enjoyed the great customer service. My husband and I went here for lunch after a funeral and the food was good. But once we left, a couple of hours later, I was sick as a dog. The next day my husband couldn't stay out of the bathroom.
