Charges over msrp significantly to order parts for customers. They said it was because Harley Davidson charges them for shipping...Called several other dealers in the area who charged no additional markup. Very dissatisfied with the service received. I took my bike in for servicing (State Insp, 1K service, and to have the oil coolant hose replaced) on 6/23. After numerous inquiries about having my bike returned via their drop off service, I ended up having to pick the bike up myself on 7/28. After getting the bike home, I did a visual inspection and could tell that my bike had been dropped and damage while in for servicing. I now have a 3 inch scratch on my saddle bag and a couple of other noticeable scratches as well. Someone could have at least told me or mentioned that an incident happened with the bike and I would have been much more understanding than getting the bike back and finding the damage myself. Totally unprofessional on the person who dropped the bike, which now reflects negatively on the entire dealership. NOT RETURNING...Rocky Mount and Raleigh now have a new customer! read more

I went there to have my bike serviced... I took a test ride on the new 26 while I was there... High pressure, sales environment, the service department came out with a list of a bunch of things that they said was "wrong" with my bike. I feel like this was more of a ploy to get me interested in buying a new bike which I told him from the get-go that I wasn't interested in doing However, during the process there was a bike that I might've been interested in Until one of the service managers named Elvis, God involves in the process When we couldn't make a deal and I was in the process of leaving, I thanked him for his time and effort... And he acted very pissy and insulting about the fact that we couldn't make a deal. Telling me that I was gonna regret it yada yada yada And then on a follow up conversation with the actual salesman "Q" (very nice young man) we were talking about my thoughts and if I had any further interest. I asked a couple of questions about finance rate and how many months at which point Elvis jumped back in with a bunch of "well we can work that out when you come back in" at which point I said to Q (not sure why Elvis was listening in) I said well, if you just can't answer a couple of simple questions then we're not gonna be able to do this deal. Elvis told me to shut up and stop talking... At which point I told Q that we were done and I wasn't interested in being treated like that. This place has some the worst customer service I've ever seen. They made me load up my bike in the back of a friends truck, haul it an hr there to the shop. Just for them not know how to get the bike out of the bed of the truck. Ended up having to built a ramp out of pallets MYSELF, while the Harley tech stood there and stared at me. read more

I went to look at a used 2015 Trike for 25,999$. I was thinking for that price it's pristine and they might not be willing to negotiate. When I got there,it wasn't ready like he said it would be. They took me out back to see the bike. It was the WORST looking POS I've ever seen. I've seen barn finds in better shape. Chipped paint. Golf ball size bubbling and cracked paint spots. Extremely scratched infotainment screen and rust everywhere.And asking waaaay over typical retail. And WORSE in a couple days they raised the price to 28,534$...good luck with that. The owner of this franchise better wake up and realize his GM has his head up his ass. When I eventually purchase a bike, I will not go there. And its too bad,its a 30 minute scenic backroad ride. read more

This dealership has gone through several management changes in the time I dropped my bike off for repair until it was returned to me. The stories I was told and the unprofessional practices employed made me feel like I needed a shower every time I spoke with them on the phone. They even tried to employ me to ask my insurance company for more money after they returned my bike without some of the parts specified by the insurance company, which they were paid for. I wish I was local to them to take them to small claims court. My loss, don't let it be yours! Smart people learn from their own mistakes, wise people learn from the mistakes of others. Do not rent a Harley from them. The most rude female person at rental counter. Does not care about safety of their customers. Returned bike with serious problems and her attitude was she didn't care and she talked with the techs and they never heard of such a thing. Even though the bike went into "limp mode" 3 times. Drove 1.5 Hrs each way for nothing. Called based on the post price online. Looked at the bike and they put together the numbers. Price went 2k. Asked what the extra charges were and he said it was for work the did to get it HD certified and some goofy security installation. If that is case then the are simply post false price so they can switch it at the sale. Of course I walked. Does this garbage still work on people? Doc fee is expected but adding cost for repairs should be in the posted price. Very questionable practice. read more

I purchased a 2019 road glide had a 10000 trade in and 5000 cash and ended up financing 22000 dollars after adding a service plan I couldn't convince them I didn't need and some VIP maintenance plan. Then when I wasn't happy with deal he said I'll cut you a deal on the extra s witch ment he add another year to my loan . With the fast taking didn't catch it even tho my salesman and my self had already said that the few dollars wasn't worth another year. Tried taking to them about taking off the extras and they wouldn't. These plans are only good at there location not other dealers . VIP program is a joke supposed to lend you a bike to ride while servicing bike they don't mention it and when you ask they say I don't know if we have one available. I bought a bike used from a private seller and we went to this dealership to do the Rider-to-Rider Program. I called multiple times beforehand to figure out what was needed and the cost to perform the transaction. I asked TWICE and the lady told me it would cost $500 total + tax to process the transaction between the seller and me. We go in on 8/24/23 and everything is going smoothly until it's time for me to pay. I look at the price breakdown and I am being charged an additional $500. At this point the seller had already finished his paperwork and left. I demanded to know why I was being charged an additional $500 and the owner (Bobby) said it was to process my documents; title, title registration, damage disclosure and odometer reading, etc. I have registered a handful of vehicles, and it is extremely easy to do. $500 to do this is literally highway robbery. I refused to pay the $500 and she said it would be "prejudice" for her to not charge me when all her other customers get charged this fee. Load of horse sh*t. I ended up paying the fee because the seller would have had to come back, and they would have to reverse his paperwork and I felt bad because we had already made the deal. Harley loves to use America as a branding campaign but takes advantage of all its hard-working citizens. If you want to be exploited, then this is definitely the place for you. I had to result leaving a bad review to get back at these people any way I could. read more

I had visited this dealership when I was in town for business. This is a really nice dealership inside, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Several months later I made a phone call asking if they had a 2020 Road King Special in stock and spoke to Paul Morris. Paul said he would look to see if he could locate the bike and color that I was interested in and he would call me back. I received a call back in 10 minutes and he suggested a model that was just traded in and was on location. He knew I would save thousands. Keep in mind I lived a couple hundred miles away and I couldn't just swing by to look at it. Paul sent me pictures and made me an offer I couldn't refuse. He even said that Boneyard would deliver it to me. Needless to say the deal was done quicker than the duration of most baseball games. Bought my 2013 Road King here off BigUn. Great experience, great deal. Came back to buy a 2017 Road King. Walked in was pretty much ignored. General manager with feet on desk bullshitting with two women employees. Salesmen in another office talking. Ask if I could get a trade in on my bike. I was told someone would meet me outside. 20 minutes later general manger comes out. I bought a 2020 Street Glide here and dealt with Thomas initially and finished with Big Mike. Super nice guys and a pleasure to deal with. The problem begins when you sign on the dotted line. This dealership offers you ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in parts or accessory discounts after purchasing a $20,000 plus bike. I wanted to purchase a passenger backrest immediately and was offered no discount at all! I advised them to keep it and I would purchase elsewhere and I did at half their cost. They don't even cover your first oil change! I've dealt with 2 other dealerships and was given gift cards and the first couple of services were completely covered. Boneyard was only interested in attempting to sell me additional plans to cover incidentals and maintenance. Fortunately, I know how to service my own dang bike! read more

I went to Hometown H-D for service today. They are under new management and the transformation is great. The service department was on the ball as usual and Gary, service manager, is probably the best asset at this store. Went for a tire and they pointed out my brake pads were very thin. Thanks for the heads up, guys. Taking a road trip soon and you guys help keep me safe. As I milled around the showroom I think I was greeted by every salesman in the store. I have been riding motorcycles since 1984 and have bought a number of bikes new from dealerships. I found the staff at Boneyard to be knowledgeable and flexible. If you only want to buy a new bike, this is the store for you. If you want great customer service from friendly staff and professional employees look somewhere else. New owners took over about a year ago and the service and store experience has suffered tremendously. The dealership does not care about customer loyalty or the HOG chapter.
