So they said I could just pay half the original quote for the removal of the limo layer and keep the 20% layer that was already on there. I got a quote for a window replacement, and they told me it would be around $300 plus tax. That…read moresounded fair, so I booked an appointment. But when I got there, I was told that the $300 was only for the glass--labor and other charges were extra. Okay, not great, but I was still willing to listen. Then they hit me with a total of nearly $900. I almost choked. When I asked why, they started listing all these surprise charges like a "glass recycling fee," "static recalibration," and other vague add-ons. At that point, I walked out. I ended up getting a second quote from another company who actually came to my job, did the full replacement, and charged me a realistic $279--total. No weird glass recycling fees or surprise add-ons. It's disappointing to see some businesses try to take advantage of hardworking people like this. Lesson learned. Just sharing my experience so others don't waste their time or money.
