I discovered the Community at the Marquis Tualatin because I am part of a group that used to meet…read morethere. I really liked the space and what it has to offer for "non-residents" like myself. I obtained a gym membership. (I get a discount through my health insurance and chose the Marquis Community over other gyms that offer more classes but do not have a salt-water pool). I was initially very excited about the salt-water pool and gym. However... The Marquis does not list their fitness classes or pool schedule on-line. I went to their website and looked for information. I filled out a "Contact Us" form. (It went no where. Perhaps a glitch but this has happened to me a few times.) The definition of a "senior" or "uniquely-abled person" is we may have limitations. How do I know which services, classes, gym schedule, pool schedule I wish to access if I cannot locate the information? I should not have to get a ride to the Marquis in order to obtain a schedule or program information in order to plan my day, week, month. On the positive side, the salt-water pool is amazing. The gym has some nice equipment and is clean. The locker room is accessible. The rest of the Marquis (fireplace, puzzle/books in the lobby, coffee bar, seated areas) is a pleasant place to spend time. I just wish I had a schedule! Please post on-line, create a link for up-to-date schedules, anything that would make your community more welcoming to those of us that do not live there.

Love this gym, been a member for more than a few years- however, this review is for my personal…read moretrainer who deserves 6 stars or more. I live with chronic back pain and a year ago a friend told me to book an appointment with Aksana. Nothing else (I've tried it all) helped much so I went ahead with an initial training appointment and it changed EVERYTHING! i could barley walk normally when we first started and 3 appointments later I could move more freely and when my pain got bad it only took hours instead of days to reset. A year, and 14-15 appointments it has set the physical clock back years! Aksana has been a literal life saver for me and I am forever grateful!

After being a member for several months, I am dropping my star rating to a 3. One of the reasons…read morethat I was looking forward to this club was that I could work from here and then get a workout in. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi is so spotty, down more often than not, that I can't imagine being able to do any kind of work from the club. This also makes it challenging to use any kind of app which requires Wi-Fi in order to track your progress when you're lifting. The second reason I dropped my star rating was because there are a number of machines, for example the large cable machine in the main workout area, that are missing most of their weight stickers. Unless you are familiar with the weight progression of that specific machine, you are guessing at what weight you are actually lifting. Final issue, the attachments for the cable machine over in the room which has the Astroturf are very worn. A few are missing the rings to even connect and people have tied knots into the strap in order to make it work. These may seem minor but for the price you pay for a membership plus the sign-up fee, I would expect these little things to be easily taken care of.

I'm shocked to see the one star reviews on this site, because our experience with Mike and Sport…read moreCourt of Oregon has been nothing short of fantastic. We brought Mike in very late to a major backyard overhaul we were doing, and he figured out a way to work us into his schedule to keep our project moving forward. He helped us with the design, provided an accurate bid based on our specs, and delivered the work exactly as we outlined and to our satisfaction. He also did a great job working with our landscape contractor to coordinate the concrete work he was responsible for with the grading and retaining wall work that they were doing. In addition, I've called Mike back on a couple of occasions to adjust and tune up our rebounder and ball containment system, and he and his team have responded immediately to make it look and function like it was brand new. It's really nice to have a contractor stand behind their work. We have friends who have also used Sport Court of Oregon, and they are extremely pleased with the results. Good luck with your project! Adding the Sport Court into our backyard to get our kids outside and playing has been well worth the investment.

We had an issue with the foundation under our court that they built about 9 years ago. They agreed…read moreto fix it as in their words "This shouldn't have been built with wood." After over 3 months of emails back and forth to schedule the repair, and in the middle of them, a change of ownership at Sport Court of Oregon, they now won't fix it or help with it at all. Bart Dickson the new owner came out to find what he called a "win-win" which ended up being denying all responsibility despite his employee admitting it was their fault and they would fix it. He fabricated a story that we selected wood for the material so it's our fault, which I have paperwork showing that's not the case. They sent us an email with contractors to call to figure it out on our own. Note, prior to the change of ownership, they had been wonderful to work with. Buyer beware if you ever have an issue under the new ownership. They will gladly take your money but you're on your own if something goes wrong, even if they admit it was their error.
