Love this park! Go there all the time. Beautiful view of the valley. The kids love to play tennis up there but can get windy.

Can we do barbecue , with small table barbecue?

July 2024 there is a burn ban in effect, so I would advise a big no!

We recently joined Stafford Hills Club after touring four other gyms including the new Lake Oswego…read moreaquatic center which did not impress me but it was nice. After touring the gyms I came away with the impression that Stafford was by far the best gym in the area. The staff is superb and the gym and equipment are clean. None of that terrible "gym" smell that you often get at the gyms as they age. They also do an excellent job at making sure there aren't so many members in the gym that there are long wait times to use the equipment.

I have been a member for about 6 months and really have enjoyed my time. Pros: -Women's locker room doesn't feel super dated. That was honestly a big reason I went with this gym, it was one of the few with a sauna/steam room that weren't disgusting. -Equipment/facility is generally in good condition and clearly proper upkeep is done. -Staff is kind and instructors seem to really care. Special shout out to Genevieve and Janet! -Yoga/pilates room is new and beautiful -This is a bit of a silly one but I love the room that used to be for bikes is now available for those who want a quieter space to work out if the other room has a class going on. Cons: -The class options for before/after normal work hours are incredibly limited. I am more of a class person and have been consistently disappointed with how few options there are. Generally, I think the gym caters to retirees/those who don't work a traditional 9-5 schedule. -Gym area is rather small. This definitely is more of a tennis club and the footprint of the area with fitness equipment is small in comparison to other gyms in the area. I have never had too much trouble waiting for equipment but when it's busy, it can feel cramped.

The park is fully stocked. It has separate play structure for younger and older kids. There is a sandbox that also has a splash pad in it. The play structures are very interesting and have a verity of cool features. There are swings for older and younger kids. There is a big tube slide and a great net climbing structure. The play area has a large and small, rentable, covered picnic structure. In the lower area, there are sports fields, a structure with advanced features for teens. Tennis and wall ball, basket ball and a walking trail to the river. There are nice, clean restrooms here. The details are great here, even the picnic tables have built in chess boards. The water feature is super cool, it runs through the middle of the sand box and out of a watering trough complete with concrete pig statue. I like this park a lot. It's a non crowded hidden gem, probably because it was built in 2000, so it's still new and modern in park terms. Come check it out...

I live with chronic back pain and a year ago a friend told me to book an appointment with Aksana. Nothing else (I've tried it all) helped much so I went ahead with an initial training appointment and it changed EVERYTHING! i could barley walk normally when we first started and 3 appointments later I could move more freely and when my pain got bad it only took hours instead of days to reset. A year, and 14-15 appointments it has set the physical clock back years! Aksana has been a literal life saver for me and I am forever grateful!

One of the reasons…read morethat I was looking forward to this club was that I could work from here and then get a workout in. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi is so spotty, down more often than not, that I can't imagine being able to do any kind of work from the club. This also makes it challenging to use any kind of app which requires Wi-Fi in order to track your progress when you're lifting. The second reason I dropped my star rating was because there are a number of machines, for example the large cable machine in the main workout area, that are missing most of their weight stickers. Unless you are familiar with the weight progression of that specific machine, you are guessing at what weight you are actually lifting. Final issue, the attachments for the cable machine over in the room which has the Astroturf are very worn. A few are missing the rings to even connect and people have tied knots into the strap in order to make it work. These may seem minor but for the price you pay for a membership plus the sign-up fee, I would expect these little things to be easily taken care of.
