I'm so glad I did! What struck me first and most about this park was how clean and well maintained it is. They have a delightful sand box with water feature that, I'm sure, will keep the kids busy all day. They also have a very unique and creative rope contraption to climb on (I don't know what the cool kids call it). And there's a skate park, basketball court, baseball diamond, and tennis court to keep everyone happy. We were there on Friday night and the tennis court was filled with folks playing Pickle Ball. So cool to see so many people outside and active on a beautiful summer evening. Finally, there's a wide, well maintained walking path along the river that is delightful. It's so awesome to find a public place like this. We all need more of this!

When we moved five years ago to Wilsonville, one of the highlights of this town are its open spaces and how family-friendly it is. This is just one of many parks in town. It's expansive too! It is located right across the street from the library and they offer so much-- water play (Murase Plaza), structured play, event spaces, nature play, tennis courts, soccer and baseball field, skate park, nature trails, disc golf, and fishing/boat dock. It is also stunning during the fall season with the trees in orange, red, and yellow. Parks and Rec are always maintaining this place. The latest addition to the park is the natural playground, and that is where we took our toddler recently. She LOVED it. She made some friends pretending to fish in the canoe and hang out in the teepees. The sand pit is a big hit too. Whether you're a family visiting or a local, I highly recommend checking this place out.

This typically means that we have the place almost all to ourselves, which is preferable to the crowds at the West Linn and Oregon City skate parks. Very few amenities and zero shade. When I…read morehad first visited "Tron" it was all wood with a massive halfpipe but i was too young and inexperienced to skate it. Since then I've seen the construction of the cement double box which is arguably one of the best ledges in Portland and the now (old) new park which was the 2008 addition and just as of recently the (new) old park which was the complete removal of wooden ramps to all cement and it's been my home away from home for over a decade. I highly recommend this park to anyone! Nobody fights, nobody steals, and it's a great over all place. Couldn't ask for a better spot for skateboarding.

It's one of the bigger parks we've been to in the metro area - though we haven't been to by many. (No one was playing music. The other skaters were quite polite when we were here.) There are park benches outside the fence - backs to Parker Rd. And a few picnic tables on the grass. Our only wish were for some restrooms. FYI- the parking is a bit beyond (or before, depending on where you are coming from) and across the street. Follow the path and take the high road when it splits.
