Situated on Queen St. East, it gets quite busy over the weekend. I like how they have a to-go window for those who only want to pick up a pastry and coffee and another line along the side street for dine in. I went a couple of times on a weekend morning, I was able to secure a table within 15 minutes for 2. I like how my quiche is served with a side salad and bread with butter. I especially like their latte that's served in a bowl. Their food is great, coffee is good. Indoor dining can get a little stuffy as they only have a few fans going, but outdoor seating is pretty comfortable.

This Leslieville/ riverside bakery also offer brunch service during the weekend. When weather permit they have a few tables to the right of the establishment for dine in. The ingredients are super fresh, especially the breads!! Highly recommend this place for a casual weekend brunch! Pro: They accept credit card!

Came here on Sunday morning around 1045am and we were able to get a table for 4 right away. It's a cute corner restaurant with both indoor and outdoor dining areas. I got the croque madame and a cortado; both items which I thoroughly enjoyed. I also got a pastry to go since they are known for their pastries - delicious as well. They also have a window where you can order to go items, when we went there was a lineup for that. During lunch time it can get busy and we saw a lineup for the dining room when we left. Would definitely come back for their pastries again!

Space for a group of eight at 11:30 on a Saturday? You betcha! We were surprised and elated to get a table within ten minutes of arriving, and boy did we ever luck out! The outdoor patio is perfect, even on a winter's cold morning. The plants, French ambiance, and large space with plenty of light is lovely. The menu was perfect for me, and even for everyone else in the group who had many more dietary restrictions than I. Our server, Nathan, was an absolute ICON. We are all outgoing and tend to be loud and sassy, and he matched us so well. Thanks, Nathan, for a truly wonderful few hours with you. The food came out quickly, and there was a lot of space on the small tables to eat - which was a nice surprise. For newbies, the entry to the "dine-in" side can be confusing to find, but other guests and signs are there to help. Head over to the side entrance and wait for a server to greet you. We were slightly bummed that the liquor license still has not arrived, but we still had a fantastic time. À bientôt !

Maybe I should have read the reviews beforehand so I could've calibrated my expectations better. All I saw were the long lines on multiple weekend mornings my wife and I would pass by this place, so always wanted to try it. We were walking along Queen one early Saturday afternoon and saw there was only a 2 person lineup to dine in and got excited - this was finally our chance to try this popular place! And... I don't get it. We got the brekkie (really bland for something that sounded so good), French onion soup (broth was ok, though there wasn't enough cheese and onions to my liking), chocolate croissant (hardly any chocolate), and all of them were disappointing. The only standouts were the hot apple cider (really good, with the natural apple taste coming strongly through) and service (unfortunately didn't get the name of our server, who was friendly and just had a very light and pleasant way about him). Maybe they had an off day or i just have different tastes, but I won't be saying bonjour to this place anytime soon.

This is one of the staple brunch spots in the area, and we stopped by for a quick brunch. They often run out of signature items and get full pretty quickly, so we recommend coming a bit earlier. Outdoor seating was seat yourself and indoor seating had a wait. We opted to sit outside as it wasn't too cold with the heaters. As for food, we ordered: 1. Baked French Toast This was very similar to a traditional style French toast, however we found the "toast" more like a banana bread texture and thickness. Paired with this dish was the usual - fruits, syrup, cream. It was a pretty filling dish and we wished there was more fruit. 2. Smoked Salmon with Scrambled Eggs Exactly as described, this dish was paired with shredded potato roti and a baguette. We found the smoked salmon portion a bit small as it was only 1 piece rolled up. As for the rest the roti was crispy and the eggs were what you'd expect. 3. Rare Roast Beef This sandwich was the best item we ordered. Sliced into 2 pieces, it had Brie and a garlic aioli. We enjoyed this combo, and how the baguette wasn't hard. This little brunch spot is a cute place to catch up and grab a quick bite. We found the food mediocre but would return again due to conveniency. @alot.eats

I wish I lived closer to Leslieville's Bonjour Brioche because this is one place I could easily visit every weekend without losing interest. On second thought, maybe it's better for my waistline. Transport yourself to an authentic French bakery and cafe, complete with the scent of buttery croissants when you walk in the door. It's the type of smell you want to bottle up. Delight in daily soups, quiche du jour, and a variety of sandwiches on freshly-baked bread. Don't forget to purchase some delicious baked goods to enjoy a la maison. The pain au chocolat, muffins and croissants are all exquisite. As with most brunch spots in This city, Bonjour Brioche doesn't accept reservations, so it's best to arrive early to avoid long lines! You'll thank me later.

Sunday's are for brunch! Bonjour brioche ended up on my list (don't ask how) and they didn't have a 1-2 hr wait like the other places we wanted to try so it was a no brainer Firstly the service; this one lady literally looked angry the entire time, she looked like she was gunna kill everyone for eating there lol. And was also very curt and not personable, which didn't really add to the Sunday Funday vibe (maybe she was hungover) Food wise, we had: Smoked salmon eggs benedict: I really enjoyed this; I thought the croissant was fluffy and flakey salmon was good sized and the egg was runny with just the right amount of hollandaise sauce Croque madam: I think the bread was too thick and dense to be layered together like that, there was also a thin layer of cheese between the bread which you couldn't really taste, the ham slices were also paper thin. I didn't like this one even though I've enjoyed them in the past Fig tart: it had fig, caramelized onion and blue cheese, and it was delicious! The blue cheese wasn't over powering and the pastry part was warm and flakey! I would definitely come back for just this for takeout, but it could do without the rest of the bread and salad tbh. On every plate they also had salad and buttered toast, which would make the meals very carb heavy. We didn't touch any of the additional breads which was a bit wasteful. The pricing was actually very fair, it was about $10-$13 for each dish, even with their "new price increase" posted on their wall. Overall I'd come back if I was in the area and stop by for some of their French pastries and tartes

Came for a brunch with my BFF. It was recommended by our adult children and it was just ok in truth. Staff lovely. Very small place and extremely busy. Typical yuppie place. We had the eggs Benny and the French toast. Both just ok. Not enough salad or bread with the EB. The French toast was 4 quarters of a slice of brioche. Very tiny serving. For the price it should be more. Especially if they want repeat customers.

Second time visit with poached eggs on croissant. Croissant is better on its own without heated though, too many toppings takes away the simple buttery flavor. Still love the service and vibe.

Lovely little spot for brunch! I'm a savory breakfast kind of gal so this place definitely hit the mark for me. It's clear that lots of people love this place, there was a line at both the takeout counter and dine-in! I was seated pretty quickly since I was a party of one. My server took my order not long after! I got a chai latte bowl and the quiche du jour (Lorraine) which came with a side salad and some baguette with butter. Food came to me in no time and it looked so good, tasted even better! The quiche was so fluffy and had all the right flavours. My latte was made perfectly. Definitely recommend this spot and will be visiting again soon!

Love the cream sauce and caviar! Smoked salmon rosti and scrambled eggs with baguette. $13.50
    Mishelle Y.

I agree with what others say about this place. My food was just mediocre. I was still hungry after and I have a small appetite at 100lb weight class. It felt very European portion sizing. My butter was not warm or melted and came with an untoasted baguette that was not the softest. However felt very euro tasting. I got a the salmon rosti scrambled eggs. Tasty but did dip everything in ketchup. I would say the price could be cheaper for its portion sizing. I wouldn't recommend making a journey out here but guess wouldn't mind coming back

Especially liked the artwork and table with their name on it. I had the Nutella latte, Nutella and strawberry waffle, and a side of sausage. Didn't like the sausage at all (tasted a bit gamey) but that's probably because ein the states there are nitrates, etc that make it taste better. No biggie! She switched it out for bacon, and that was fine and appreciated. My sister had the breakfast tacos that looked delicious and she really enjoyed. Once I got back to my hotel, I settled in to enjoy and get some work done. My latte was smooth and creamy and just what I needed to get my day started. My raspberry croissant was beautiful and packed full of flavor. The filling wasn't too sweet and there was just the right amount inside. I saved my cookie for a snack while I traveled home later that day. I love how it had chunks of sugared ginger on top.
