    Chorizo spaghetti

The service was exceptional! The staff was very helpful and always attentive. Ambiance was a little loud, depends on who you sit beside I suppose but it was hard to hear my partner across the table until the table next to us left. For the food, I got the station burger, the beef tartare, and the chorizo spaghetti. The beef tartare had rave reviews online, but I found it to be good but not great. The chorizo spaghetti was a bit disappointing, nothing about it really popped out, including the chorizo. The station burger however was insanely good. The patty can be medium rare or well done, and comes with a delicious aioli. If I came here again, I'd basically just get the burger and I'd walk out very satisfied.

I came here at the recommendation of a friend for my birthday, and it delivered perfectly. You can tell they put a lot of thought into everything - food, service and decor. You can definitely tell it's meant for a nicer night out as the servers are very kinda and attentive, explaining each dish thoroughly and even grabbing coat check for you. Food-wise I found everything a lot of fun! There were a lot of familiar flavours but executed in different ways that made it exciting to eat. I can really tell that each dish required a lot of thought and execution even though I'm not so well versed in cooking myself. I got the duck, and everything in the dish worked extremely well together. It also reminded me of Asian BBQ duck which was a pleasant surprise. I also really enjoyed the beef tartare. The meat was great quality, and something about the potatoes on top were just addictive... better than the potatoes we had with the main. They do have seasonal dishes as well and are constantly rotating the menu, so I would love to come again! Overall a solid experience and a great pick for any special occasion.

Tasting menu with plenty of complimentary extras... the food journey was a very enjoyable ride of seafood, meats and savoury delights... amazing well informed service.. only improvements would be a bit more worldly and refined wine pairing option... overall a great experience.

I am back once again with a new review. I'm so happy everytime I come back here. To start, the food is always delicious, the chefs always do their best to accommodate without compromising quality, and you can really tell that they care about the quality that gets served. This time they updated the menu with heavier fare for the winter and since my last visit 3 years ago, I let them know that i developed a gluten intolerance in top of my pork and dairy intolerance. Servers were well versed and so friendly and made sure i was pleased with my dinner service. Now onto the food. Because of my intolerances they took liberties to adjust what was on the menu (I always order the chefs tasting menu) and replaced a few items (in my case, gave me 2 off menu items and an additional sweet fudge treat to send me off!) . Please note everything was gluten and dairy and pork free. Amuse bouche was something from their specials - salmon tartar on shiso, but was not on the chefs menu. Creamy but very light. Beef tartar with crispy potato. Surprisingly flavour packed - don't be fooled by the size. My favourite was the carrots - surprisingly delightful - I had a ratatouille moment with the ingredients. By themselves it's unassuming but when you pair them together it's an explosion - nay, a symphony!- for your tastebuds. Seafood rice tastes exactly like a congee - quite delicious but I missed out on the chili butter spice due to the dairy intolerance. I imagine it would've been completely perfect, however I loved it this way also because its exactly like how I would make jt and was so comforting. Creamy without the cream, scallops were scalloping... the only thing I didn't care for was the cilantro because unfortunately i have the gene that makes things taste like soap but I ate it anyway. (Not a great look for someone already intolerant to so many things). Next was a surprise off menu item of the chicken. This was the solid favourite right next to the carrots. Fuckin delicious. Perfect balance of spice, salt, fat, and acid. And the plating was beautiful! And definitely outshined the man beef dish. Stole the show even. The beef dish was surprisingly mayo forward. But everything was cooked perfectly. My favourite part of this was actually the gluten free bread because I have been craving it all week and I don't know how they did it but it was so soft and moist on the inside but crunchy on the outside. The last desserts were vegan. By that point I was so full I can't even remember enjoying it but what stood out to me the most was the vegan bar. It had 3 layers: chocolate crumb base, coconut cream base, and a layer that sort of tasted like firm tofu. And it was topped with a sweet lemon touille. The chocolate fudge and vegan chocolate icecream. Chocolate isn't my favourite flavour and i was low key hoping for sage and sweet potato because it sounds like such a unique flavour combo.. but I enjoyed it with the sea salt as it helps cut the chocolate sweetness. I understand why they couldn't serve it. But now I have ideas on how to try making it at home. Very happy with the service here. I'll continue to share this joy and this restaurant with my peers.

Located in downtown Toronto, Richmond Station offers a stylish yet comfortable atmosphere. The menu changes every two weeks, using very fresh, seasonal ingredients. I tried several signature dishes, each meticulously prepared with balanced and refined flavors. The restaurant was still busy even at 9 pm, demonstrating its popularity. The service was attentive, and tipping was not accepted, which was very convenient. Overall, a pleasant experience, it's a great place for gatherings with friends or a special dinner.

Had a really nice experience here. The food was flavorful and well prepared, and everything came out fresh. I especially liked that the dishes felt satisfying without being too heavy. The service was friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere was comfortable and easy to enjoy. It's the kind of place that works well whether you're stopping by for a casual meal or meeting friends. Definitely a spot I'd come back to when I'm in the area.

Visited here for work with a client for another shot at their lunch menu - and this time it was a hit! There's a reason this restaurant is considered a Toronto institution after all. Among everyone we ordered almost everything off the menu and the food was delicious with no exceptions - actually, the person who had the rabbit "just to try it" wasn't too sure about the dish after all...that one should be left to an adventurous soul. I was however just slightly disappointed with the dessert I selected - the earl grey rhubarb trifle - which sounded very fancy on paper but did not end up delivering as much to the palate. Next time, I'll stick with the traditional offerings. Service was excellent as always, with staff that were consistently friendly, attentive, and accommodating - they do everything they can to make you comfortable and welcomed. The space was a little cramped (relative to other upscale restaurants in the area), but it wasn't a problem having conversations or being heard. I noticed on their website that they now offer a two-course fixed price lunch for $49 (add $10 for any dessert), which is so reasonable I would even come back without work as an excuse!

Richmond Station never misses. Every visit feels like a masterclass in thoughtful cooking and effortless hospitality. The menu strikes that perfect balance between refined and comforting--beautifully plated, but never precious. From impeccably cooked mains to desserts that quietly steal the show, each dish is layered, balanced, and clearly made with intention. Standouts across the table: bold flavours, clean execution, and sauces you want to chase with a spoon. The burger? Still one of the best in the city--juicy, rich, and worth the hype every single time. Desserts are elegant and restrained, letting quality ingredients do the heavy lifting. What really sets Richmond Station apart is consistency. You can feel the pride in the kitchen and the warmth in the service. This is Toronto dining done right--approachable, elevated, and deeply satisfying. A must-visit, and an easy return.

Very nice spot! A service included restaurant is unique in Toronto. Food was great, and was presented nicely. The staff are knowledgeable in the menu, and everything on the plate is explained as it is presented.

    Beef main

I came here for a special celebration, and was blown away by the tasting menu. It changes regularly, and I was most excited by the sashimi (wonderful) and the beef main. The beef main came with a croquette that was out of this world and the softest bread I've ever had. The service was also top notch. We had a few cocktails and I had the wine pairing but that honestly was kind of underwhelming, I would skip out on drinks here. The food and desserts more than made up for it though. The space was busy but very nicely decorated with a lovely vibe. I can't wait to come back and try another tasting menu!

We went for the Six Course Chef's Tasting Menu as a family since I owed them a big favour recently. The menu probably changes with the seasons so I won't get into every detail, but what really stood out was how thoughtfully each course was prepared and how approachable the flavors were. Even someone not familiar with Western fine dining would find it enjoyable. My mom usually sticks with Asian cuisine, so I was a little nervous about how she would take it. Watching her finish every plate, even down to the last drop of sauce, honestly made me smile the whole evening. The service added to it too. The servers were warm and attentive, and when I saw her make the effort to express her gratitude to them directly, I knew we were in the right place. For a first experience with a tasting menu like this, Richmond Station feels like the perfect spot. It goes beyond just being "delicious" and becomes a shared memory. The dining room was full, but everyone seemed happy and relaxed, and that energy made the night feel even more special. Richmond Station is now where I'd start if I ever wanted to introduce someone new to this kind of dining.

Richmond Station delivers an outstanding dining experience. They have their own farm which supplies ingredients to the restaurant, therefore the menu changes to farm to table. The duck main, is absolutely delicious. The duck is one of the best I've had, perfectly balanced red reduction sauce and some kind of parsnip cake (?) that elevates the dish even more. The duck was cooked to perfection, full of flavor and beautifully executed. Station burger and char were excellent as well but not as amazing as the duck. The starters: mushroom calamari , liver mouse and beef tartar appetizer - were great especially the mushrooms! Had nothing like it before, tasted better than regular squid calamari. The other starter, the charcuterie, was a bit disappointing. Everything which was rich, comforting, and incredibly tasty. Overall, the food was flawless - I'd give this place a 9/10. Highly recommended for your fancier dinners out.

The ingredients were very fresh, all selected according to the season. Even at 9 pm, the restaurant was still packed, showing its popularity. And they don't accept tips, which is very wallet-friendly, haha. The appetizer, the sous-vide egg, was very unique. The combination of a soft-boiled egg, cheese and corn sauce, Italian pork lard crisps, and sour dough was an explosion of flavor--a rich and complex experience in both texture and taste. The confit salmon had a texture between raw and medium-rare, not dry at all, but not as raw as sashimi. The dry-aged steak was incredibly tender and juicy! Every bite was bursting with the aroma of the fat. The six courses cost a total of 115 pence, and the servers didn't neglect the guests despite the lack of a tipping policy.

This was first on our list, located in the Scotiabank Tower on Adelaide. We got a nice corner table, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting, not too loud but not library-like either. The music, mostly UK fare like their cuisine, played an acceptable volume that my friends and I didn't have to raise our voices. We were seated very promptly, and our server took care to attend to my friend's allergy. She even asked to change my friend's cutlery when another server brought the wrong salad. My appetizer was a hot-smoked salmon pâté, which was ok by itself, but eaten with the pickles gave it that taste I wouldn't forget. I chose for my main the Petit Roast Dinner; the cut was excellent, full of flavour and juicy to boot. The gravy for said cut just brought the roast to another level. The sides were delicious as well, especially the crispiness of the potatoes. A clean plate was the end result! Finally to finish the meal, I chose the chocolate banoffee cheesecake - I never pass on any cheesecake when it's offered. And it didn't disappoint! The banana brûlée was an interesting touch, while having toffee sauce drizzled on the cheesecake was a first (and not definitely last) for me! All in all, it was a nice introduction to The Rabbit Hole, and I can't wait to go down there again!

But…read moresince you don't have an ability to give a .5, I actually pushed it forward to a four star. It's located in the Scotiiabank Plaza at King and Bay. Entrance is closest to the Adelaide side of that building. You enter on the ground floor level, but then you have to walk up some stairs to actually get to the restaurant if you see the place with the kegs on the side of the stairs, you're in the right spot! You'll have to go buy those kegs later if you want to use the bathrooms cause that's where they are. Once you get upstairs, it's a quite nice looking pub area ( maybe little bit more higher end than some pubs ). We specifically went there because in December 2025 they had a special where they were doing a beef Wellington every day until it sold out. The price tag was a bit steeper at $60, although I have to say it was pretty good. Do I think it was worth the $60, well? I think the jury still out on that one. The service was very nice. The server came and checked on us periodically, and I did let them know that it was a special birthday for my partner, and so they actually arranged a nice to surprise and brought a special dessert out after the main meal. It was nice to get something sweet to finish the meal (comp'd). The Wellington was very good. It was probably just a little overcooked for me. I prefer mine more like medium rare and it was probably more like medium well done. I might've liked it better if it had not been so well done. However, it was still pretty good and a very nice flavor and it came with mashed potatoes and a really lovely gravy and some nice roasted vegetables. Atmosphere is pretty lively, I would say that there's not a lot of privacy because the tables are very close together. That was kind of a so-so thing in my book, but not a big deal. It is a pub after all. Also, that's what you can expect in those types of establishments. So it was quite enjoyable, it was also my first time there. Not sure I'd run back there although I generally do like O&B restaurants. It's just there are others of theirs that I prefer far more than this one. Close to all the transit steps away from King subway station.

The first course was Labneh with bread, hummus, & beef tartare. Second course was Lamb pide & pear salad. Third course was grilled branzino, middle eastern fried chicken, black truffle rice, and thrice cooked fries. Then there was dessert which was chocolate mousse cake & baklava. Because of my many food allergies the main server for our table was very attentive & specific in asking me what I wanted as modifications. For example I got a wagyu beef pide instead of the lamb. Every dish was really delicious, presented well & quite filling. I couldn't eat all of the food. Though I tried almost everything. Service: The pacing of the dishes was quite masterful. They really paid attention to when the food was going to come out. As I mentioned above the main server was very attentive to my food allergies. I really appreciated that as some restaurants aren't as attentive. The food was served family style so everyone could take what they wanted from the serving dishes. The dishes were served in little bowls along the tables with each bowl serving about 4 people. We had asked for one long table so it was a little snug. But we made it work. Ambiance: For dinner the lighting of the space is really dim. LOL. I would have appreciated just a little bit more light. The restaurant is in an old building so to use the washroom you had to go down two flights of stairs. The dining area is small also. But it's a pretty space. As mentioned above we asked for one long table to seat 15 people. I was expecting square tables but it was a bunch of small round tables pushed together. So the tables were really crowded with food from all the dishes. But the servers made sure to take empty serving dishes away as soon as possible. The music was a little loud for me so I had to yell to be heard. The place was packed though. Everyone at our table enjoyed the food, the service & atmosphere. The restaurant is close to Roy Thompson Hall & the other theatres nearby so it's a convenient location as well. It's too bad this place is only open for dinner. I would have loved to see how they would operate a lunch time service. In any case, Byblos was amazing. I would come back here again to try other dishes! Something about the presentation and how you had to be there for it. I don't know about that. I ordered the Atlantic salt cod (fried cod balls) and while they were super good, the presentation left me thinking, "I could have totally eaten this in my giant robe in bed." Regardless, I enjoyed every bite. I did end up getting approval to take my dessert to-go. This made me very happy. It was a chocolate mouse-like thing, shaped like a heart (it was just after Valentine's Day). It came with berries and drizzled with chocolate. Very decadent. This was a very hip spot. The environment was buzzing with people in town for whatever reason, the staff was great, and the cocktail and food couldn't have been better.

We spoke with two bartenders that were both friendly, and willing to impart their spirits knowledge. Both cocktails were exceptional. They are expensive, but it's a Sheraton, so it was expected. Food was tasty, but pricy too. The bar is beautiful, so definitely a nice place to visit.

My second evening visiting friends in Toronto, they brought me here for dinner. OMG. The food, the…read moredrinks, the service, the ambiance -- all were simply great. Thanks to a couple of the reviews, we ordered -- among other things the spicy rigatoni. Absolutely unbelievable flavor that really wakes up your tastebuds and says, "Delicious, aren't I?" The answer is YES!!! We ordered the truffle fries for the table, which are the best I've ever had and I love truffle fries. I ordered the Sangria Rouge simply because I love a really good one. This met and exceeded all my hopes and dreams. In fact, I would say that that describes this restaurant. It was a wonderful, wonderful experience.

We ordered a bunch of things to share and the table ended up being full pretty quickly. Rock shrimp to start, truffle fries with truffle aioli, a wagyu caesar salad, half roasted chicken, and king oyster mushrooms. Everything was good, but the rigatoni completely stole the show. Creamy, spicy, perfectly cooked pasta and one of those dishes where you keep going back for another bite even when you're already full. Drinks were solid too. The Pornstar Martini and the Hot & Bothered were both great and fit the vibe of the place. The space feels polished but still lively, especially around the bar. Definitely the kind of spot that works for a night out, drinks with friends, or a late dinner. If you go, do not skip the spicy vodka rigatoni. I would come back just for that.
