First tried their boba -- not the traditional Hong Kong style, but honestly it's exactly how I like it personally. The pearls were soft with a nice chew (not hard in the middle ), and the drink itself was balanced and not overly sweet. Yum!! Then I had the Americano. If you're an espresso person, you'll appreciate this. It had that bold, slightly bitter espresso kick -- rich and smooth, never burnt. You can really taste the depth of the espresso bean with that classic roasted aroma and clean finish. And Bonnie herself is the owner -- so sweet and welcoming! Cute and quick coffee cart on hwy 101. There was no line, service was fast, and the staff was helpful in answering all my questions. I ordered an iced almond milk latte. It was reasonably priced but the espresso/roast was good but nothing spectacular. The roast has fruity undertones but tasted a bit flag. It lacked the smooth and creamy richness in a good shot of espresso. That being said it felt like there was a fair amount of caffeine in their coffee as I immediately got the energy pick me up I was looking for. Id be interested though to try other drink options like the boba available on Fridays-Sundays. read more

Bonnie's is one of my favorite coffee stops along the entire Oregon Coast. The service is always super friendly and I've never had a bad drink! They've got it all. Mochas, lattes, frappes, Red Bull drinks, boba, and more. Prices are very inexpensive compared to some other coffee stands you'll find on the coast. They also sell some food, such as pastries and Costco chicken bakes for $5.00. On my most recent visit I got a large Blended Red Bull with passion fruit and cherry syrup ($5.25). It was delightfully similar to Dutch Bro's famed blended Rebel drinks, albeit less sweet. It was fantastic! One tiny point of criticism - I would advise they remove the word "organic" from their signage, or at least be more clear that it's just the coffee that is so, if that's the case. They used the regular Red Bull drink which is not organic. There is a version of the product that is certified organic but that wasn't used in my drink. Not that I really give a damn about the product itself, but just the advertising slightly bothers me. read more

My family and I made a last minute stop here for drinks and snacks. We got a muffin, ice cream milk shake, smoothie, and caramel macchiato. I drive 6a.m to 6p.m ...Let's just start with the fact this is a decent coffee shop in Newport that is a drive through#1and she is fast so you can get back on the rode towards Lincoln City just past Izzy's pizza on the left .Number two reason for five stars it's the only really good coffee shop open on sundays. drive through that is open seven days a week ! Number three reason everything on the menu is below 5 dollars without lowering the quality of the coffee.Organic coffee with soy or almond milk.options.Now let's talk about fighting the drive thru with long waits ,at all of the other drive throughs guess what there isn't one???? The service is really friendly and the coffee is absolutely fantastic we got some iced coffee and just regular all Americano and it's really tasty and great. This is my favorite coffee shop ever. Best organic coffee and specialty drinks in Newport. Boba Tea here is the best I have had. The shop is family owned so you will be served by Bonnie or one of her beautiful daughters. I really missed them when the shop was closed for a year while the shop and Macau Village were rebuilt.
