What a gem. We stopped by this little coffee place before doing some whale watching nearby. Ordered two cappuccinos with extra espresso for my partner and I. The barista was friendly and drinks were prepared quickly. Reasonable prices considering the location. The coffee is absolutely incredible. I could tell this place takes pride in their coffee and craft. Perfect spot to pick up coffee and enjoy some coastal views. Will definitely be returning back next time we are back!! read more

I missed Left Coast Coffee Company in Lincoln City by one block, ended up near Perk 101. However, I knew there was another site in Depoe Bay (8/30/24). Well appointed cafe site with refrigerated beverages, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. Nice selection of their coffee roasts and merch. Too bad no onsite seating, but there's sidewalk park benches outside. Today was perfect to soak up VitD sunshine. Very nice and interactive barista. She also provided intel about the Lincoln City site and an associated cafe/restaurant in Gleneden Beach. Bonus was the amazing mocha she crafted! Definitely recommended while in Depoe Bay! read more

We spotted Left Coast Coffee when we were driving, and we were so glad we stopped. My husband and I both got hot drinks - a mocha and a caramel latte - and both were delicious. The barista chatted with us and gave us some dinner recommendations while she made our drinks (and her recs were great!). The only thing that would've made our great experience even better was seating inside the coffee shop. But we still loved it and would definitely come back. read more

There's a gazillion coffee shops in the area and I guess I've been to most of them at least once over the past 35 years although some seem to come and go seasonally. I don't know why I've never stopped here before or if I have I don't recall the experience. Coffee was pretty good and I say that being quite the coffee snob. It was good enough to where I bought some beans to take with me and brew at home. There are several good roasters in Oregon that I patronize now and then. I'll probably be adding Left Coast to the list now. Parking can be a problem especially in the Summer months although I've been coming to Depoe Bay for so long that I know of most/all of the "hidden" parking areas that are mostly only known to the locals. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Prices were reasonable. read more

Best coffee in Depoe Bay, hands down. Not only that, but the proprietors are heavily involved in the coffee world. From my recollection, they even competed in the barista championships. So you KNOW these guys are for real. Speaking of being for real, the owners even remembered our names when we came back in for a cup. Now THATS customer service! We can't recommend this place a million times over! As a bonus, you get to watch the whales right across the street! You can't get any better than this! read more

I moved to Depoe Bay last spring and discovered this tasty brew (OG Blend) while breakfasting at Whale Bites Cafe. I enjoyed that cup so friggen much I, unprecedentedly, inquired what I was drinking. Informed that it was from the shop just a couple of blocks away... It mandated the next stop of the day. It's been just about my daily drinker ever since. When Christmas time came, it wasn't much of an inspiration but I knew exactly what I was getting the whole fam... a taste of the Left Coast. Put in a half dozen orders Sunday night, they were shipped Monday and arrived along the east coast by Friday. They even added my personalized Happy Holiday notes to each family member. We had a very good experience at Left Coast Coffee. The line was short, the service was friendly and helpful, and the chai was great. The chai concentrate they use is an Oregonian brand with clean ingredients. I'm not a huge fan of chai with orange peel in it, but it was unique and very high quality, and our barista proportioned it perfectly with the oat milk. My mom LOVED the chai from Left Coast Coffee since she loves the orange peel component in chai and it's not a common one. We also bought a little package of drip coffee. Haven't tried it yet, but the package came open in my mom's purse on the way back to the hotel. We lost some of the grounds to spillage. It looked fully sealed when we bought the package so we're going to assume the seal broke from hanging out in a purse for a few hours. Nonetheless, if we ever buy another well be more careful to check the seal. Overall, would do again. After all, I still need to try their coffee drinks! read more

Left coast is amazing. My family and I went to the location in depoe bay and the location in Lincoln City near the Christmas cottage. Both locations are incredible. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. I am usually not a coffee drinker and the coffee was so delicious. They have a absolutely to die for latte syrup. I also managed to get a new hydro flask and some left coast stickers to show off. I'm so excited to tell everyone I know to try this coffee and the amazing locations out. read more

My husband got an Americano and I got the "Left Coast Latte", the drinks were phenomenal! This is some quality coffee. The girl working even offered us a choice of which roast we wanted in our drinks. Even though it was very busy the barista was very bubbly and polite, made the experience that much better! Fortunately found a parking spot during the summer! Ordered a triple shot vanilla latte with house vanilla syrup. Barista did not add enough flavoring for triple shot, tasted bitter and didn't taste the homemade in-house syrup at all. Atmosphere was fine , but empty. There were no baked goods yet and it was 10:30am. Baristas said they should arrive in the next couple of hours... 12:30pm for pastries!?! Who the hell is buying all your pastries in the afternoon... a local pig farmer?! Not likely at coffee shop prices. Overall just okay ... was recommended the visit, but didn't impress. read more

Not the place to sit and work but rather grab and go. Tons of free parking along the shoreline, right across the street from the shop. read more

Wow yum!! Amazing coffee! Stopped in here after whale watching and got an iced vanilla (with their special house made vanilla concoction) oat milk latte and it was the best coffee I ever had! We had to go back a couple days later for more whale watching, and another iced latte! We bought some coffee to go as well. The coffee smell inside the store is so good. Yummmm! I ordered a decaf americano and it was perfect! I went at the end of the day, but they seemed to have pastries, snacks, and merch with their logo. To be honest I tried two attempts here to get their beer and both times were fails. The address associated with their Yelp entry here seems to be at the owner's house. And they indeed did have a small taproom here going off of the Yelp pictures. People really liked the beers from the other reviews and the concept definitely caught our attention (ahem) but when we got there and within operating hours of the taproom everything was closed up tighter than a drum. We wanted to make another attempt to try their beer at a later time and when we did it looked like they moved to downtown Hillsboro. We'll we made it there, Steve and I and went in the door only to be told they were closed BUT the owner didn't turn us away and so we had a can of cider. They were doing a remodel and we figured we would make yet another attempt in a few months to try their beer since none was available during the particular time the remodel was taking place and when we arrived. I made a third attempt only to find out the old BDSM sign was taken down and smoked meats and cold beer were sold at the location we were at months before. All of these changes must have been recent and swift because the third attempt was a week ago and Google had the business in the search as still being open and they had an active Facebook page. The Facebook page and has since vanished in a week's time and the Google result says they are permanently closed. They still have their own website up but I wouldn't imagine that is very useful at this point and time. Too bad. A few missed opportunities here without a full on beer experience with what they brewed.

It's perfect with lots of parking, lots of syrup choices and mostly lots of coffee! The staff were happy to answer any questions we had and had delicious lattes too. As far as food choices there weren't much just some scones and muffins but we did stop in late at 2pm so maybe they just sold out of a lot of items by then as well. Lots of coffee gifting items in here too along with sampler coffees, mugs and unique tee shirts. If you need coffee this is a great spot to bookmark.

It's a small, cave-like space that may house a half a dozen people. There are no stools, just a tasting menu, a bar in a cave that's filled with dollar bills hanging from the ceiling and off the walls. I wasn't impressed with the wine because a lot of it was sweet fruit wine, which is not my thing. I did buy a bottle, which was overpriced, but this wasn't a high-pressure spiel and only a $10.00 tasting fee per person, which was deducted from the wine purchase. The tasting lasted 15-minutes. Fun, quick and easy!

The winery is inside a small cave with so many dollar bills hanging from the walls and the ceiling. You can actually hang your own dollar bill on the ceiling/wall and decorate it with sharpies that they have on the counter. We really don't carry any cash these days so we didn't have anything to hang on their ceiling or the walls lol. The nice gentleman behind the counter showed us what kinds of wines they had available upon our entry. He explained to us that if we did at least three different tastings, then we would be able to buy a wine bottle for $10 off, in which we agreed upon. We tried the following wines - Chardonnay, peach, pear, and apple jack. My absolute favorites were the Chardonnay and the apple jack, while my boyfriend enjoyed the peach and the pear. The apple jack was kind of like apple juice but with alcohol mixed in. I loved the apple jack so much that we decided to buy a bottle of it. We were told that Depoe Bay Winery is able to ship their wines to Las Vegas, where we're visiting from, and the best part is that there's no sales tax involved when we buy from them when we get back home! Amazing! This is definitely something I'm looking forward to. Will highly recommend this winery to everyone visiting the Depoe Bay area. Great customer service and absolutely great tasting wine.

The two policies that bugged me... -- $2 charge for wi-fi -- no change smaller than a quarter for payment The first one just struck me as odd in this day and age. There are so many places where you get free wi-fi, it just seemed out of place. And the second is just silly. My coffee was fine and the best part of the experience was the name of my drink, the Johnny Cash. Their house blend with a shot of espresso. The problem was the rest of the experience left a bitter taste in my mouth.

I am an omnivore but very much look forward to trying some tasty treats there! I think the bottom line is this.
