I've never been here physically but i get it delivered honestly a few times a month. Whenever I've had an issue with anything forgotten or incorrect, i call and they send out corrected food no problem (has only happened twice in the almost two years I've been ordering). The California roll which was super bland, the dumplings which were cold, and the spring roll was was still very cold in the middle. It taste like grocery store or gas station sushi. The food has always been great, been going here for over 2 years and never had a complaint. Great prices for hibachi, youre not gonna find a full plate for $10 anywhere else. The young guy working the front counter is always nice. I once left my wallet here on accident, and he ran out the front door to give it to me as i was pulling off. Do NOT waste your money or time! We placed an order for 2 salmon sushi a la carte & 1 eel sushi a la carte, & 4 shrimp hibachi with fried rice at 5:29 PM today. The person put us on "hold" which was really him speaking loudly while we were waiting for several minutes. Upon placing the order our credit card information was ran, address given, & total however no name was asked for, delivery time was not told, & the card was immediately charged. At 6:35 we called to check the status of the order only to be told it would ANOTHER hour! No apologies. No offer to credit the food or offer free food. Our food finally arrived (with a knock on the door when our doorbell is clearly marked & lit) at 8 PM. 2 hours, 31 minutes later is nonsense. The food was bland. The shrimp was boiled frozen small shrimp. The vegetable serving was small. It was mostly rice. The sushi was literally salmon over rice & nothing else. The yum yum sauce was nothing more than watery sugar mixture. Also one set of chop sticks were given....this is not my 600 lb life. This order was for 4 people! More than one set of chop sticks is in order. $58.01 worth of crap after 2 hours, 31 minutes of waiting. Do NOT waste your time or money! read more

In response to Sally's review below. Tried Bonsai for the first time on Friday. I had received a mailer in the mail earlier in the day. Seems everyone else on my side if town had gotten it too. I did have to wait for my food, but while in the restaurant they told me the response to the flyer had been overwhelming. More than they ever thought and wasnt prepared for the amount of orders. So Sally, please give them a second chance. Ordered sushi and hibachi. It was good. Nothing to write home about, but for quick takeout on my way home, it was good. Kids enjoyed the sushi with not issues. I will order takeout again to try them on a day they might be less busy. read more

The sushi looked and tasted so good I forgot to take pictures. If you prefer cooked rolls, I recommend the helicopter and captain roll. Their gyoza are delicious but only if you get them in a timely manner. Like any fried food it's best when it's right out of the fryer. I will definitely be getting delivery again. Ps. Delivery to base takes about 45 minutes. It's a minimum 30 minute drive. I've done take out too. read more

Gyoza was nice and crunchy to perfection and their yum yum sauce is soooooo good it's addicting. Their meats and fish are fresh and the vegetables are fresh and cleaned properly. High quality food. The outside and when you first step In might not be what you were expecting to see but don't judge a book by it's cover they have a hibachi chef and a sushi chef running it all from behind the scenes. That's right only 2 guys tackling hundreds of orders a day. With as much help from the register they can get. They are working on getting back what the pandemic took from them slowly but surely. But looks can be deceiving and these guys are slowly climbing their way back to reclaim what the pandemic took from them. I see big things in the future they just need time read more

Listen up ladies and gentlemen, placed an order at 6:44 pm today, and was told it will be an hour to 45 mins for delivery. Well here we are at 8:40pm and no food yet, we called and were told, oh yeah uh theres other deliveries.. so we asked how long and they said yeah hes out their somewhere and told us to have a goodnight and hung up. So now I'm sitting her gnawing on little Timmy's shoes waiting for my teriyaki chicken, but I'm beginning to think it's never going to come. Best Asian food in the area. I've been to everyone. Nothing will ever compare to mt fuji in Tupelo MS but bonsai comes pretty close.

You can make better hibachi at home. Food is bland and not seasoned properly, as well as the vegetables.

Do not order from here. We called at 7:10 to place an order, told us it would take an hour, call again at 8:10 and they told us the driver left an hour ago...but our food was nowhere to be found. Called again, told us the driver had to go back and pick up our order at 9:20...over 2 hours after. Asked for a refund because at this point if our food ever made it it was going to be cold or who knows. Our food never came and I better be getting my refund. read more

I can tell they had a lot on their plate with all their orders they had to do. Very friendly people and it was definitely noticeable that they tried their best in all their orders. If you are a P.o.c I do not recommend, I say this wholeheartedly because of what my husband and I experienced as we were grabbing dinner June 28th. We placed an order for pickup, originally we ordered 2 curry chickens, 1 curry beef and some sushi. Upon arriving our daughter stated she had changed her mind and didn't want it anymore, so my husband attempted to ask the employee if they could just take 1 curry chicken off, we were in so much disbelief with the answer they gave, we couldn't believe it. In short the employee stated that we HAD to pay for everything he refused to make a simple change and just charge us difference instead he went back and forth with my husband (in which my husband handled everything accordingly) and the owner ended up throwing the food IN THE TRASH. Not only did he take that route he also called the police on my husband as if he was being irate or belligerent and told them there was a black man in his business refusing to leave. We never refused to leave we wanted to wait for police in which of course we still did to make sure they understood what was going on. I recorded the whole conversation with the police, they admitted they've never had a call from this place which was all we needed to know. All of a sudden a big BLACK man (I say big because he is 6'2 give or take 300 lbs) walks in with an issue and the first thing he did was call police. Being that he was the owner would make you think he could've handled that situation way better. Police suggested finding a black owned business to support, in which he thought that would be helpful to tell us but it wasn't. I pray that this business gets the attention it needs to get SHUT DOWN for how we were treated and who knows there are probably more people that just decided not to speak out about it.
