We were also allowed to order food to the bar which was awesome since boobie trap doesn't serve food. We eventually ended up playing bingo with the rest of the bar which turned out to be more fun than expected! Will definitely be back! read more

This place is just down the block from me, and to be honest, the decor is offensive. This area of Bushwick still has a lot of families with young children, and a large neon sign that is visible from the street that says "fuck off" isn't cool. The neighborhood is changing, yes, but a little sensitivity to the residents who were here first would be nice. read more

Noooooooooooooo Give your money to some other bar in Bushwick that will actually appreciate your business, and cares about having loyal patrons- this one doesn't mind recycling the local college kids that will come and go. The owner is mad rude, and just wants to fill her pockets with your hard-earned cash by blinding you with kitschy decor and neon lights. I wrote a negative review about Pizza Party after getting robbed there, and she made a shrine of my face in her bar calling me a dick bag. I mean, hilarious? Sure. But crazy af too. This kind of business ethic makes me sad, and so sad that it's reached Bushwick too. Don't list your business on Yelp if you can't handle any negative reviews or criticism. Very limited beer selection... only Negro Modelo and Pacifico on tap. Clashing, chaotic decor. The BBQ is tasty, but comes in very small portions. There are all these annoying cheeky notes and labels everywhere. Behind the ironic posturing, there's something deeply corny and infantile about this place. The giant neon "Fuck Off" sign sends an antagonistic message to the neighborhood which is not (yet) exclusively comprised of bar-going 20-somethings, but also includes lots of families. Mannequins and cuss words are real cool and all, but I think I'll pass. read more

what an amazing establishment! as the bar name suggests, there is lots of boobie themed items here, and lots of other amazing design decor you will see below). there is an amazing "fuck off" neon sign behind the bar, a disco ball, a naked female mannequin converted into a tap, candy, plastic guns, dolls, assorted squishy things nailed to the wall, stimulating patterned wall paper, weird fun wall art, a pee-pee panic labeled bathroom doorbell, a squishy finger coming out of the bathroom door, and that's not all!!! the bathroom is a must-see. not only does it have a wall of toilet paper, but the toilet comes equipped with hair ties, just in case of puking. the food offerings look amazing, and the menu comes covered in vintage playboy covers. i will bring my next out of town guest to for some dinner and boobies. not only is the beer affordable, but the music was spot on. lots of surf rock, neil sedaka, good vibes all around. the owners are super nice and cool also, i met one of them while she was bartending in an old cheerleader uniform. i of course gave her mad props on her amazing tacky taste. you must come check out this new and awesome bar. if you love thingamabobs, knickknacks, assorted childhood ephemera mixed in with boobs, this is the bar for you. read more

went again tonight because friends of mine hadn't been. Previously I had mentioned I would never order a cocktail there again due to a sneaking suspicion that they don't even put any alcohol in their drinks. So tonight I stuck to draft beer. I had three. Each and every one had about an inch of foam under the rim, and I missed out on that inch of beer. Picky, you say? Yes, because other bars fill it up and let the foam go. I now will only order the beer in a can and a shot, and it's pretty lame that I have to resort to that. I don't plan another trip to boobie trap for a good long while. read more

Small, quirky and fun. Perfect place to play a game of chess and get hammered and lose the pieces. We went in at around 5 for happy hour, got a pitcher of margarita and got to work coloring. I was hungry but I didn't feel like having pizza so I stuffed my face and pockets with candy. 5th star was accomplished because despite the looks of the bar it is immaculately clean. The "F*ck Yelp" shirts for sale are hysterical. They have two beers on tap: a light and a dark. Vibe is cliquey: everyone who was sitting around us were regulars and knew the bartender. It's easy to see how one's feelings can get butt hurt in this bar but it's simple to avoid: don't be a jerk and don't ask dumb questions. And tip your damn bartender. Just moved in down the block. Stopped by for a drink after a long day at work. Place wasn't packed (which is what I was looking for) on a Tuesday night. Music was great. Crowd was great, but what really put it over the top was the Tanya the bartender. They ran out of what I wanted so I quickly ordered something else and she quickly told me not to and that what I asked for was overpriced. She could have over-charged me but would rather see her customers happy than serve them over priced drinks. I wish more NY bartenders were like her. All that being said, Boobie trap and Tanya have a new regular. read more

We had beers/ciders/shots and had a great time. From the board games to the coloring book sheets, nostalgia hung in the air and practically burned my nostrils. I'm not complaining, in fact, I was initially attracted to the Instagram-worthy aesthetic and hipster-ish atmosphere. But it was probably the endless humor that adorned the walls, from the Man-Bun Specials to the framed Shxtty Yelper, that made me stay. Oh, and the drinks were cool too. I still can't decide which names are more iconic....Panic at the Disco song titles or the drinks at this bar. And when my two drinks had me skrrt-skrrting to the bathroom, I was pleasantly surprised to find the wall decorated with toilet tissue rolls and a jar of hair ties for guests. Aww, how sweet. So yeah, I guess you can say I had a good time. read more

Had a good time talking to women there but when used credit card for a drink the bartender (perhaps [part]owner) charged me $25 for a bottle of Corona and $22 for a macaroni and cheese! That's $40 I got over charged. When paying with credit ask how much is minimum and ask for receipt. Better yet, always bring cash. Cash is king in bars. I was told by my bank that the charges were reversed but it took me a while and a lot of haggling to "talk to the supervisor" to get it reversed. Getting over-charged is the Boobie Trap! read more

One of my favorite bars in BUSHWICK. I've always loved coming here and it's always a great time. The staff has always been super cool with me and my friends. They know how to keep the atmosphere fun and safe. If we're being real, if a bartender was ever rude to you, it's likely because you were being an asshole. Trust me, when you act like a decent respectful human being (that means no waving money in their faces to get their attention) they're happy to help you have a good time at the bar. A hidden gem! This place is the best, great drinks and good vibes. Happened upon it for a friends birthday, and I'm so glad we did. It's a really cool bar with an AWESOME staff. Great drinks, and actually reasonably priced for the area. The bartender 'T' was great, and took good care of us the whole night, and was hilarious. We would come back just for her. The games were a nice touch on the shelves and people were playing, the energy was good, enough tables and space to accommodate, but not too big to feel packed and annoying. I couldn't bear to give it 2 stars because I really like the vibe and the kitschy decor. So I guess it'll be 2.5 from me. Got the $12 happy hour food special. One protein, two sides and a beer/soda. All I can say is do NOT get the food. I got the seitan (just meh but not inedible. I ate about half of it), vegan jambalaya (how can rice be both mushy AND crunchy??? My guess is because they threw some new rice in with yesterday's leftovers), corn salad (best thing I had and that's not saying much), and a jalapeño corn muffin (tasted like it had soap in it). The hub got the pulled pork (looked really dry. He only ate a little of it and he LOVES pulled pork. He said he tasted a piece that "tasted funky" and wouldn't eat anymore), baked mac & cheese (this is NOT Mac & cheese. It's just not. Never could it be Mac & cheese. Over cooked noodles, barely any cheese, but a cheese looking yellow powder was sprinkled on top), potato salad (I have never tasted potato salad like this in my life. Potatoes were crunchy with some really weird spice on it. Inedible). We got a $3 beer with each of our meals and that was the best part of the meal. The place was really comfy though. I like the decor. I imagine it's a good place to chill and drink. I'll come back I'm sure but only to soak up the vibe and get some beers. I'd even be willing to let them make me a cocktail. Decent place, cheap booze. Cool for a nightcap on a Thursday/Friday or if you feel like hanging with some girlfriends and coloring boob pics on a weeknight. Love the Barbie Chandelier and bathroom decor. Don't recommend the food. Dry pulled pork served on mini buns that were stale. Side of vegan potato salad that had mold in it. I was excited to try this place despite the negative things I had been hearing about it. My friend and I went and got two beers, two shots, macaroni and cheese, potato salad, a pickle and the cornbread. The place itself wasn't bad. The beer and shot deal is always awesome, it was a little brightly lit for my taste but whatever, the bathroom is cute and has boobs all over the ceiling but oh my god the food. By far the most disgusting bar food I have ever had in my life. The potato salad had the weirdest flavor like cinnamon and cloves and then I found a bug in it, so I didn't care what other flavors it had. The "baked" mac and cheese was just a velveeta glop with nasty cheese curds on top and the cornbread was so dry it was inedible. The pickle was fine though. If you come here, DO NOT eat the food. Had to go out and meet my Uncle in Ridgewood and we generally meet at some Irish dump in another part of the city. Wasn't too familiar with the area but we ended up meeting at Boobie Trap. Two beers on draft worked for both of us. Ordered the grape soda/titos drink off the list which we both found amusing and awesome. Enthusiastic friendly staff and met a great mix of people. Ah, the Boobie Trap! Probably the most written about Brooklyn bar in the past few weeks, and with good reason. Yes--this bar is dedicated to boobs, but I didn't find the decor overwhelming. There were a few well placed boob items here and there, but nothing that would overly offend. Well, besides the neon "Fuck Off" sign, but I found it funny. The bar is smaller than I expected, and got crowded last Saturday when I went. But everyone was friendly, from the bartenders (I believe the owner wears the vintage cheerleading uniform) and our neighbors, who took part in coloring pages from the boob coloring book with us. The drinks are so cheap that it's easy to get drunk here. Really great beer and shot combos, and fun sounding cocktails priced at $7. The BBQ wasn't the highlight for me, but was tasty and served its purpose. For all the breast related hype, Boobie Trap is just another neighborhood spot with more interesting decor. Worth a visit if you're in the area! read more
