    Philly Cheesesteak with hand-cut fries!
    Tracy S.

Go, go, go!!The food is amazing! We started with mozzarella sticks and they were fresh, not frozen! They're the best I've ever had, they were actually juicy. I had the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich with fries. The sandwich was full of flavor. The tender beef with grilled peppers and onions was perfectly seasoned, on just the right bun. Hubby had Chicken Alfredo which looked amazing. The chicken was grilled, moist and plentiful. The building is small and seating is limited. It was a very busy evening in the diner and takeout was hopping. We waited for a table. Once we were seated it was all hands on deck getting orders, cleaning tables, serving, etc. The crew wanted nothing more than to make customers happy. We will definitely go back but would probably do a pickup order for out of town guests.

What a gem. Modest in decor, outsized in food and service. Prices very fair. The owner is a retired history teacher and Booher's is in Napoleon, Ohio, so don't be shocked at the many Napoleons you see inside... I would eat here again and again - the smash burger on a great bun was top notch, the chicken wrap was "order again" good, the fries are housemade and served hot. I only wish I'd had room for homemade pie. A mom and pop classic that can't be beat!

What is your maximum seating capacity? From the picture I just see counter stools, but I don't see any tables. I'd love to try some. Thanks in advance for the answers.

There are a few tables inside also. If memory serves me correctly along with bar style seating, there's about 4 tables that can seat up to at least 4 people - could be one more or less.

My stick didn't even have any cheese! The meals were equally unremarkable. My nephew said his meatballs were terrible (he only ate one as a result). We were a party of 8 so I won't bother to discuss each dinner. But in general, not good. The best thing we all ate was the olive oil and seasonings for the bread which wasn't bad! In fact, it was delicious! The cocktails every one had were ok and we got a bottle of Chianti that was great! They had a very decent wine list. Our server was very good except he said the calamari was "lightly breaded" which encouraged me to order two for the table! Plus he said the mozzarella sticks were on special that night and yet they too were terrible. Ordering both of them was a huge mistake! We were all starving after having been on the road for hours! In town for a wedding. If we were locals, we would never eat there again! I've been to a lot of Italian restaurants and this was quite possibly the worst one ever! Although the place was busy, and had a piano player for entertainment, (which could have been a positive), the lack of quality of the food was a big letdown.

My girlfriend and I drove from Ann Arbor to Fazoli's on Valentine's Day for a nice, reliable…read moreItalian dinner. What we got instead was an experience. We stood in line behind an older woman ordering enough food to survive winter. While this happened, the lone employee kept apologizing to us, running food out, coming back, apologizing again, and repeating this cycle for about 20 minutes. Honestly impressive cardio. When he finally took our order, I told him two baked lasagnas. He looked me dead in the eyes and repeated "two baked lasagnas." We shook hands spiritually. Made them combos. Pep slice. Cheese slice. Locked in. Food took a while (understandable) and arrived with another apology... and that's when we realized it was baked spaghetti. We checked the receipt which also said baked spaghetti. At some point lasagna became a concept rather than a food. Close, but legally different. We also indulged in a chocolate mushroom dessert, which I don't recommend. The taste made me cry. It made my girlfriend throw up. Despite everything, the staff was kind, the night was unforgettable, and we laughed the whole way home. 4 stars because we really wanted that lasagna.

Having recently had a heart attack I'm very selective on entrées but found a nice salmon and spinach wrap that fit the bill, wasn't a ton of flavor, but I doctored it up and it was fine. With my diet lately I'm depending on spices, but this was plenty of food and well worth the price point. My colleague had the sirloin steak and veggies. He seemed to whip through it pretty quick, steak looked perfectly done for a thinner, lunch cut, and we both just drink water since we're traveling and had more appointments. I'd love to get this place another try and go for more of the pizza or other dishes that we're standing out and certainly take advantage of the bar. Big place, clean, good service. Highly recommend.

Overall the food was amazing and I'll be going back for week 3. Please keep the wild sauce on the menu, it was really good .
