When their friend arrived, said waitress approached the table and asked if the newcomer wanted a plate to share in the pizza. When she was told no, she immediately turned and walked away instead of asking the newcomer if she might want a drink: again, the customers were forced to chase her down. Her excuse, as she looked at the customer as if she were some sort of insect in her lipgloss tube, was that she thought the newcomer had just come from another table--where on earth did she get that idea? Emily, said waitress, CLEARLY had no time to wait on women whom she felt for some reason were not worth her time nor the generous tip she would have received had she not acted like she was in a hurry to get rid of said customers. She did just that when she realized she had screwed up but wanted to assume zero accountability. Thank you, Olivia, for taking over. Training tip: Emily might be young and BLONDE, but elders sisters are more experienced and might teach her a thing or two. A few crow's feet does not make us insignificant nor unempowered. Men who objectify you are not the only ones who tip. How does this reviewer know? Because 40 years ago another older woman taught her this lesson when she had made the same mistake. Pay attention: to your tables, your customers, and your attitude. As for Mancino's in general, this restaurant has quality food, great cocktails, and hard-working staff otherwise.

Everyone seemed tense, and instead of feeling like a team, it felt like people were just trying to avoid getting in trouble. It completely changed the experience of eating there. I understand that restaurants can get busy and stressful, but there's a difference between managing a team and making employees look uncomfortable in front of customers. Treating people with respect shouldn't disappear when things get hectic. I hope management takes a step back and realizes that customers notice how employees are treated.
