Anastacia put together our order, walked through my "inspiration" photos in detail, and thoughtfully explained options for consideration. She was incredibly detail-oriented, and the event order she put together for us actually listed every individual flower that would be included in each centerpiece and bouquet. As more of a "type-A" personality myself, this gave me peace of mind about exactly what to expect... and the final products looked even better than I could have anticipated! I'd also note that we had to change venues for our wedding very last minute - from an indoor to an outdoor setting. Anastacia was a professional, calming, and flexible presence throughout it. My mom surprised me with a visit here as an early birthday present. I had no idea what to expect…read morebut this was one of the best experiences I've ever had. I've never made my own perfume so I was so excited to get started. Victor greeted us and gave us a tour of the store. He started with telling us all about the history of perfume making and also gave us a pamphlet with all kinds of information about how to pair scents and different vocabulary to use when describing them. There are 15 different scents that we started off smelling to see what we liked and then we narrowed them down to a few that were our favorites and a few that would blend well together. The coolest part was getting to add different things to add to our base scents like vanilla, amber, musk, and tobacco (just to name a few). Once we decided on the combination that worked best for us we got to pour in our base scents and Victor explained the math behind bringing everything together. I really appreciated how detailed the entire process was. He also left a little space in the perfume bottles so we could test the scent he made on our skin to see if it needed to be edited any further by adding any scent that might have been over powered by another to find that perfect balance. He gave suggestions and was so helpful with everything. We could tell he is very passionate about creating different perfumes and it made the experience so personal. Once everything was mixed we were able to pick a name for our perfumes to make it our own. We got beautiful labels put on our perfume bottles and nice bags to keep them in. He told us to wait a week for the perfume to blend completely and to test it again while all of the notes are at their peak. This was so much fun and I would definitely go back for another session and bring more people.

I came by here when I visited a…read morefriend who lives in Ithaca, and also participated in their Fantasy Friday Knights series as an author. I wish I lived closer so I could come here more often. The store is kept clean and they have tables and chairs set up for working, having a coffee, and reading. They have a wide selection of books across age ranges and genres, as well as stickers, bookmarks, and snacks, candles, and jewelry (and more) from local vendors. The owners, Sam and Amber, are wonderful humans. Parking was plentiful both times I was there. Highly recommend a visit here if you're in the area, and I'll definitely be back the next time I find myself in Ithaca or Dryden!
