It was closing in on the end of the 'season' for them and it showed. (The price didn't come down for the end of season though.) Most every feature, water fountain, back yard, hot tub area, bar area outside looked uninviting. We chose not to sit down in the back yard because the chairs where so filthy. And that was just the common areas. The location is awful. Right on one of the busiest corners in the town. If you were on the front porch area you had to stop talking until traffic passed to carry on a conversation. Non stop traffic. With the window air conditioner in our room, it's like an open window to the traffic noise. And let's not forget the trains that run all hours of the day and night blowing their horn through at least a dozen intersection through town! Good luck trying to sleep. The breakfast was skimpy. Not like the pictures on their website. The pictures are apparently when they first started their business. It's apparently been down hill from there. There are junky looking vehicles parked off to the side of the property. The bedroom plug-in was so old and worn out that when I tried to plug in my phone charger it fell out. You get the picture. Don't get me wrong, Dave and Michelle seem like nice people. For what they charge and what you get, I would not recommend it. I would not recommend staying in Palisade at all because of the trains. Visit, yes; Staying, no.

The cleanliness of the room and private bathroom was noticed and very much appreciated as well as the gifts and goodies in the room left for us. Brad and Gail really made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived to the amazing breakfast each morning and were so accommodating. Highly recommend this place for a weekend getaway. The first morning was a Belgian Waffle with Hot Apple topping made with the apples from their back yard along with a veggie & cheese omelette's and sausage. Chocolate chip cookies & brownies were the snacks the two days.. Morning two was a souffle, Canadian bacon and fresh plum cobbler.. YUM!! Our room was pretty basic, only downside was the bathroom was across the hall and there was a tricky step that could easily be tripped on at night. I also thought it would have been nice to supply those fluffy bathrobes that most B&B's have if you have to wander the halls to the facilities. The hosts were great, very chatty and helpful if we had questions.

I had booked two rooms as we were traveling with another couple. They let us each pay for our own rooms separately at check-in. The rooms are very nice. The bed was comfortable as were the pillows. Our rooms both had mini fridge and microwave which was a nice touch. The views were beautiful. There was an evening reception where we were offered a glass of the wine from the property vineyard. We sat out on the porch to enjoy the wine and the evening. The pool and hot tub are well maintained and were quite enjoyable. This was a great location for our stay. I would come back.

This includes free parking, a free breakfast buffet, bogo drinks at their pub and the possibility of being upgraded to a suite. It's really a great deal! While the rooms aren't fancy, some of the rooms have gorgeous views of the Mesa. The beds and pillows are also some of the most comfortable we've come across even compared to expensive hotels. If you're looking for a no frills stay that is comfortable and clean, then this is a great choice.

Sounded like squirrels or pigeons scratching trying to get out... also the ice machine across the hall constantly going off... As long as the air was blowing I didn't hear too much of nothing. Once it stopped that's all I heard!!!! Haven't went down for breakfast looks like I'm not gonna make it... The hotel was clean and neatly decorated. I'm not sure if I'd stay again at this particular location. The price was not cheap for a night and if I'm gonna have interrupted sleep I might as well stay somewhere else...
