This was our first visit to the Palisades and we had an amazing time. We stayed in the Vistas Room located upstairs with the Kind bed. The cleanliness of the room and private bathroom was noticed and very much appreciated as well as the gifts and goodies in the room left for us. Brad and Gail really made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived to the amazing breakfast each morning and were so accommodating. Highly recommend this place for a weekend getaway. Do not miss the chance to stay at such an adorable and charming bed and breakfast. The proprietors, Gail and Brad, were so warm and wonderful. On weekends they do a superb breakfast and the continental options on weekdays is not lacking either. The room itself was clean and cute, but the backyard is magical. Gail and Brad really welcome guests to get to know one another, only adding to the charm. If you're a dog lover, their furry friends are sweethearts. We appreciated the communication and hospitality from Gail and Brad. Most of our contact was with Gail and she was warm and helpful and good at communication ahead of time and when we were there. Gail and Brad took over in October of last year and they seem to be enjoying it. We appreciated the offer of a cider as we checked in. We stayed in the Nature Room which was very clean and comfortable. It was 100 degrees the day we stayed and I was initially concerned that they didn't have air conditioning but had swamp coolers instead, but they were right, it cooled down comfortably at night and I was so comfortable in the bed and bedding that I slept 9 1/2 hours which made me so happy. I appreciated the attached private bathroom and also the mini fridge. I thought the little welcome sign and jar of peach jam was also really sweet. The dining area is really nice and they had snacks and also drinks available in the fridge there that we could access during our stay- I discovered my new favorite sparkling water which was a treat. This is a normal house converted into a B&B and it's very affordable which we appreciated and respected. Our room didn't have a TV but there was a living room with a TV we could access and they had good wifi. The breakfast on the deck with the other guests was really nice and delicious- fresh local fruit, bacon wrapped egg cups, sausage, yummy potatoes, and little pretty chocolates (see photo). They let us serve ourselves the fruit but brought our plates out already made for us. They cared and communicated about dietary restrictions. I loved seeing the different pretty trees on their property. They had two dogs and one was very social which wasn't my favorite thing but they were beautiful and you are staying in a family home so it's understandable. It's in a great location and near the wineries and fruit orchards and Gail was able to give us recommendations of her favorites which was helpful. Overall we appreciated and enjoyed our visit and I hope you will give them a try! read more

I'm super pleased with Gail and Brad and their hospitality that for sure, they will see my boyfriend Justin and I soon. A friend of mine recommended this place to stay and visit Palisade, CO and we couldn't be happier, most places are walking distance and Palisade downtown is right there less than 10 minutes and the ocean room it was perfect for both of us and having the hot tub it was the cherry on top of the cake for our bday celebration get away and I need to mention one of the fire pit right there outside on the backyard that it was perfect and lovely to have before heading dinner. We have stayed at Brad and Gail's Bed and Breakfast twice. They are very accommodating and we feel like we are visiting friends. Gail is great to point us in the direction for meals and interesting things to see and in in the area. We appreciate the breakfast bar on weekdays and the weekend breakfasts are delicious. My husband and I have stayed here a couple of times and truly had a great experience! The accomodations were cozy and quiet. It provided a great setting for us after a nice long day of wine sampling. Donna and Felix were wonderful hosts! They offer great advice about the area and what to do. We were lucky enough to hold my daughter's baby shower at this venue. Not only are Gail and Brad the most gracious and helpful hosts, but the venue is simply adorable! It is the perfect place to stay in Palisade...nestled close to many wineries and beautiful scenery. I cannot wait to see the place this summer with the fire pits and backyard set up. The rooms are very clean and cozy. The owners welcome you with open arms and the entire house is warm and comfortable. Like I said before, you cannot go wrong with the owners. They will do whatever they can to help make your stay wonderful. They are simply amazing. A few girlfriends and I decided to take a girls weekend trip to Palisade. Donna and Felix were very helpful and welcoming when we arrived. They gave us a quick tour of their house and then offered to take us into town to pick up the bikes we had rented. We were all definitely shocked but thankful at the kind gesture. After arriving back to the house, we were given hummus and crackers to go with our newly purchased bottles of wine! The breakfast in the morning was delicious and prepared with care. I'm lucky I checked the Google map before giving up finding a place to stay in Palisade. There are not a lot of lodging options, and you won't find the bed & breakfast that easily on travel sites. We like our room with attached bathroom and the quiet setting in the (wine) countryside, three wineries within walking distance was a big plus, and the breakfast was superb and luxurious. If only we didn't have to rush to our next stop we'd hang out longer. read more

Loved staying here. Comfortable and lovely home. Perfect location: Quiet area but close to everything with beautiful views and walking distance to wineries. Short drive to the indescribably gorgeous Colorado National Monument. Adorable downtown Palisade. Cozy suite, yummy breakfast and a thoughtful host. Great views on the drive to Denver. This is the cutest bnb! It's very clean and feels like home. The owners are extremely hospitable and it is easy to tell how thoughtful they are in the maintenance of their bnb and in the caring of their guests! Spent a lovely weekend at this B&B in the heart of Colorado wine country. It's right next door to two vineyards, and in easy biking distance from many more. Its location was perfect. The proprietors, Donna and Felix, were extremely hospitable. They helped us plan a biking route based on what kind of wine we liked, directed us to a delicious restaurant, and even taught us how to roast coffee. And breakfast was delicious! The house itself is quite nice. There is a large side porch for hanging out, as well as a bocce court in the back yard. Our room was cozy and very comfortable. Girlfriend and I recently spent Friday and Saturday night at V&V B&B. Donna and Felix absolutely make this place. They are the most welcoming couple you could possibly imagine. Breakfast was amazing. Rooms were nice and clean (we stayed in Buona Sera). The grounds were perfect. We were able to sit on their lovely patio and enjoy a bottle of wine at night. They are also a close 100 yard walk to Maison la Belle Vie Winery which has a wonderful ambiance to it. read more

They seriously went above and beyond helping my friend and I have the best weekend possible - plus they're just fun to hang out with. They also provide great accommodations and wonderful breakfast.
