I had a few books that I could've sold online for 20 bucks or more and I literally got $1.13 for them and some items I didn't get anything for my items and they took them anyways and on the paper I requested it shows zero cash value. If that's the case then they should give our items back and not just automatically tag them to put out on the floor. They need to rethink their system. If they want to buy an item they need to set it aside and give us a list of hay we buy these items for this amount are you OK with it . Not just assume hey yeah we can go ahead and take this item they don't care and we give them zero for it or $.19 trade-in value. I also mentioned when I got there whatever you guys don't buy from me I'll just take back. They did have some items, most of my items since I brought three bins of movies and video games and books that they did not want. I guess they assumed I didn't want them I said yes I want them back. I asked for a printout of what I sold so I can remove them from online if I had them posted. The guy said oh we don't do that. I said you don't keep track of what you're purchasing from me? He said oh yeah OK and printed out this list and I wish I would've actually looked at it and realized a lot of items they took I got zero for they just took for free. I was not donating items to them nor did I say I was gonna donate items to them. I did buy $30 worth of stuff here (3stuffed animals and a book). I could've got $31 in cash or $70 store credit so I used $30 store credit and got $20 cash back. So I was really hoping for a lot more because I had hundreds of DVDs I just didn't want to take the time to post them online because it's time consuming. But it's just really disappointing only getting literally nothing snd them taking my items and some items maybe a dollar if Im lucky. When I got home realized when I went through the list that they took my Xbox 360 games and movies I literally got nothing for them that kind of pisses me off because I was trying to make money and some of these were worth a decent amount. One of the NEW Xbox games online is worth $25 and they literally just took it and gave me nothing for it . So I definitely will not be selling to them ever again. If they weren't gonna give me any money for my items then they should be giving them back to me.

There is a sitting area, children's area and even a four foot section for featured books. The bookshelves are sturdy filled with colorful literature waiting to be devoured. The owner is so friendly and waiting to help. Books not seen are easily ordered and quick to be received. This is a place you can hang and melt your anxiousness away. We will definitely say we have a worthy bookstore in town!

It is also perfectly situated a few doors down from Treetop Coffee Shop. Not only does Bear Den allow coffee in the shop, but said they encourage the combo. It is a somewhat small shop with ample space between aisles, perfectly sorted and organized genre sections and a few cozy reading chairs throughout. I especially liked the staff picks area and the local Knoxville shelf. Co-owner, Taylor, was welcoming, friendly, and gave great book recommendations. I loved hearing more about their biz journey. Bear Den frequently hosts authors who will do readings, activities, etc. and they host other adventures for the local community, which Taylor says has embraced them with open arms. He also mentioned that you can request books to them for purchase if there's something you've been eyeing that they don't yet have in-store. We walked out with one book for our kids that quickly has become the house favorite (Don't Hug Doug: (He Doesn't Like It)) and perfectly describes our youngest child. The selection is out of this world! The staff was SO friendly and helpful. Laura helped me and Taylor helped check me out. I came in looking for a single book but came out with new friends and sisters! Not joke, if I wasn't on a time crunch to get to the sports competition, I would have stayed for hours.
