We purchased some turf shoes for my 10 year old since we play quite a few tournaments on turf fields. The shoes we purchased were on clearance so with shipping, the shoes were $45 give or take. He wore the shoes for 1 practice in our turf indoor and for a 2 day tournament on turf fields. After wearing them 3 times, the shoes were destroyed. The rubber on the toes were coming off and the black leather-like material was coming off. Because this was a clearance item, they wouldn't return or replace the item. I joined a Beer League Men's Softball (slow pitch) team Oct 2021 and needed some Turf Shoes. Due to lack of availability of shoes in my local shops, I ended up ordering a pair of turf shoes from Boombah's online store. The pair ordered was the "Men's low cut Gladiator Turf (Black/Grey) Size: 13". Within 4-5 games, maybe 3 hours total of active play time, the soles on both shoes started to come off from the front/outer sides. By the end of the first season (7 games), they were on their last legs... I attempted to wear them again for the Spring season (April 2022) and during the first game - 2nd inning, the right shoe's sole flopped completely off while running the bases. I couldn't leave a review on their website for some reason, so I'm leaving it here. The shoes are cheap quality - avoid them. read more

To make matters worse, all the jerseys were too small and the pants were too big. I wish I could give negative stars. I have bought so many Boombah products over the years, really never had a problem. I bought bags, shirts, pants and turf shoes. Every year Boombah comes out with new USA themed Turf Shoes. I buy all of them, I basically collect them. This past weekend I decided to wear one of the USA editions I bought, this pair was from 2016. Like I said I collect them and never planned on wearing them. But I decided to wear them and after 4 games they basically imploded. I contacted customer service, gave them the info they requested and Jennifer (customer service rep) said they couldn't do anything to help me, they were out of warranty. I asked them to replace my turf shoes with others that were on sale for $25 but they refused. Keep in mind I spent $65 on my shoes and wore them for 4 games in a one pitch tournament. I contacted customer service to ask for a simple exchange to size 10.5. But their all sale are final and not returnable on clearance items policy prohibited me from getting an exchange. I've placed a few orders recently and all of them have been issues. I ordered a new catcher's bag for my son. When I checked the order details a couple of days after I placed the order, it said that it was no longer in stock. I had to contact customer service and they were able to ship one out. They helped, but I shouldn't have had to call them. I placed an order for two pairs of shoes and two pairs of slides. One of the pair of slides was out of stock. They need to keep better track of their inventory. When I got the shoes, they were one of the worst pair of shoes I've ever seen. They were thin, poorly made, the laces were apparently decorative only ( not mentioned on the website ).., they were junk. Since they were Clearance, I couldn't return them. They will be in the trash soon. I placed another order... one to replace the slides that were out of stock and for a pair of turf shoes. When I got my order... it was not mine. I got someone else's stuff. I contacted Boombah and was offered to have the correct order shipped to me, once I returned the incorrect order I received. They should have immediately expedited my order out to me. Instead, they offered to wave the return shipping fee. WHAT???? It was THEIR mistake and they were trying to make it seem like they were doing me a favor by not charging me to return their screw-up. We are so very disappointed and frustrated with our son's team's uniforms from Boombah. As a team we spent nearly $2000 on them and three of the pants are ridiculously huge. We contacted the company to see if they would help us fix it and we were basically told there was nothing much they were going to do to help us out. We could send them back for re-measurement but they would just send them back if they felt it wasn't a problem. Problem is that would mean those three kids wouldn't get them back either way before our first tournament. So now our kids are stuck wearing these awful looking uniforms with their brand on it. Here you can see Gavin's 36inch waist in their size "34" pant and it's still huge! Boombah is a terrible company that makes cheap products and then only warranties them for a month. My son's travel baseball team ordered equipment bags for the entire team - an order totaling almost $1000. The bag barely lasted a few months before the zipper fell apart and the main compartment tore, rendering the bag completely unusable. I went online to Boombah's website to contact customer service. After much back and forth and jumping through multiple hoops to prove that I had purchased the bag and that it was actually damaged, I was put in touch with a live person. I then had to resend all the emails and photos to the company yet again only to be told that they would neither repair nor replace my son's bag. They very snootily told me that they only warranty their products for 30 days but that if I wanted a brand new one they would give me 10% off. Thanks a freaking lot, Boombah! Why didn't you just tell me to pay full price for a new crappy bag? It would have been the same thing! I now have to either pay to repair their cheaply made bag or purchase a brand new one - either way, a really poor outcome for the customer and my kid who just wants his equipment to be serviceable. Boombah doesn't appear to care at all about its customers and has delivered an incredibly poor product and an even worse customer service experience. They have absolutely no business being in business. But what they obviously don't know or care is that we consumers have a TON of online and in-store choices available to us. Real Time line for Boombah order. 5-7 weeks or even longer I have ordered twice from BOOMBAH on two separate orders. So that is the knowledge that I can speak of. The uniforms did look good but a little on the cheap side when compared to others at the tournament that we attend. Time line- from the day you place the order and pay for it, they will assign you a designer. 1-4 days for me afternoon of the 4th day. If you make a change in color because both times they added colors not on the original design it take 1 day per correction. Next it will take at least 4 weeks or longer to be made. After that you will get a tracking number but it will not be picked up for a few days and take over a week to arrive at your house. It took 6 weeks both times that I ordered and I wanted people to be aware. read more

Recently had an issue where I ordered something in error and needed to make a change to the order. Since it was done on a Saturday, and #boombah doesn't work weekends, I sent an email immediately to request the order be corrected before shipping out. With any other company, that wouldn't have been an issue. Heck, I get 2-day shipping all the time from Amazon and NEVER have had an issue if I notice right away that something needed to be changed. Not the case with #boombah. They did not act on my email and went ahead and put the products on the truck to ship out on Monday. I called as soon as their offices opened on Monday morning only to be told it was too late. After explaining the situation that had happened, on my $1,100 order, and considering I spent thousands with them last year on custom uniforms and intended to spend even more this season, I was certain that they would provide good customer service by offering to cover the cost of return shipping or simply call UPS to cancel the shipment. I was wrong. I was basically told, sorry about it...you're outta luck, but feel free to pay to ship back the incorrect order and pay for the correct one. We will refund you after receiving the shipment back, minus the cost of shipping, of course. After making several requests for Boombah to pay the return shipping, since I notified them immediately of the problem (before the items had shipped), and to retain a loyal customer, I was told in no uncertain terms that their policy was more important than a customer. Don't get me wrong. I realize this was my error in the first place. But it should have been an easily fixable error, and Boombah made it a huge headache instead. They literally traded a loyal customer and their reputation for 20 bucks in shipping charges. Not only was it poor customer service, but really bad business strategy. I like to give businesses ample opportunity to correct a problem before leaving a bad review online, and I went above and beyond to give Boombah this opportunity. At this point, I went to write an online review on their website, yelp, and google. I wish I would have looked at the reviews that were already out there before ordering. This place has an incredible number of bad reviews. And they still haven't posted mine on their website, so don't trust those cherry picked reviews. Their website is the ONLY place where they APPEAR to score a 4.5 out of 5. Everywhere else has them more like a 1.5 out of 5. Most of the reviews cover the same types of issues - poor customer service, inflexible policies and unwillingness to accommodate customer needs. I bought a pair of Boombah Turf cleats for my son online. Due to a harsh winter the cleats were not used until last weekend. The seam on one of the shoes tore during the first game of the season. After looking at the shoes , I noticed that the glue that held the seam together had failed. I contacted Boombah Customer service and was told that they would not replace the defective shoes or issue a refund because the purchase was made over 3 months ago. I am very dissatisfied with the product quality and with the fact that Boombah refuses to stand by it's products even when there is an obvious manufacturer's defect. I am going to agree with some others here that Bombah really needs to look at their return policy as it relates to shipping. We were in the market for turf shoes for my daughter, and I bought a pair online from Bombah. I followed their sizing chart which states if she wore a 9.5 in a women's shoe she would need an 8 in mens. We received the shoe and it was the same exact size as the mens 7 Nike turf shoes she was already wearing. I am thinking that's no big deal since I want the shoe just in a larger size - boy was I wrong. Here I am now out shipping costs of $20 (shipping plus a box to return the shoe box in), and Bombay is not going to even consider reimbursing the shipping here, despite this being their error based on their sizing chart. The sad part is I went ahead an got the larger size from them as well because my daughter liked the shoe design - you would think crediting the shipping cost would not be an issue here for continued business in the future. read more

Boombah sent me shirts with names and logo's on them you cant even read because the color came out different then what they showed me as a mock up. The colors I chose where standard colors so somebody should have known that you would not be able to read them. They have a disclaimer saying "colors may not be same as online". So you have to go off of there expertise since you cant see the true colors. The Jerseys came with the color much more lighter than the mock up and it's against white so obviously it's very hard to read. I made a complaint about it and they said it looks fine. Happy until today, but they made it clear that they don't need our business. We made a large order getting ready for fall softball. We used their sizing guide for cleats and even sized up as suggested. The cleats are too small. All of the Boombah shoes have fit well previously. They don't offer an exchange. You have to return and rebuy. That will be paying shipping 3 times. To us, to them and then to us. I've almost paid for the cleats twice at that point! Not only do they not want to help in any way, they were rude on the phone. We will be returning the cleats and the glove, batting gloves, and the rest of our order. RINGOR will be getting our business because they have been very helpful. DO NOT buy from this site if there is any chance something will not fit. Was told if I ordered the larger bags I could swap out the flaps that were done and return the smaller ones that were never used. NEVER mentioned that the time it would take them to ship the new ones etc would use up all the return time period and no longer be eligible to return the small bags. So they basically used that to get us to buy three more bags from them and not let us return the ones we had bought for the team. WILL NEVER use them again to buy team equipment!!!! read more

Well, I've read several bad reviews about boombah shoes and customer service. But all I can say is that I have ordered their shoes and I am more than happy with them. The golf shoes are amazing. Great arch supports and fit perfect. I also ordered some trail shoes. Once again they are amazing. Some of the best shoes I've purchased. As for the customer service, that was great also. Both orders were shipped same day and received within 3 days!!! Even though they say 4-7 days for economy shipping I still received them in 3 days. They answer question promptly and politely. Two pairs of turf softball shoes gone wrong. The first were replaced easily no problems. Also they shipped in a timely fashion. The second one they said they wouldn't do because there's not a a warranty on the replacement pair. Have been buying boombah and never had more than a pair all season playing over 200 games. Design is getting worse as far as durability and prices are rising as well. Custom service gave me attitude on the phone saying I shouldn't have picked that shoe then, as if I knew there was going to be a design flaw.
