BoomerJack's is one of our go to's. There's never a wait, it's a nice big clean bar, which is great for our 3 year old. The booths are big with plenty of leg room.. there are a million TV's so you can catch almost any game... There seems to be a lot of servers working everytime we go in. Which is great because service is prompt. Their food is actually good for a sports bar. To us, it's one of the higher end bar/restaurant's. If you want something healthy, I recommend the salads. read more

Worst Boomer Jack's we have been to. We don't have one where we are from, so we like to come here. There was about ten tables max occupied inside. Not busy at all! Multiple waitresses and managers saw us just sitting there for 15-20 minutes. We shouldn't have to tell you how to do your job by tending to your tables. We got up to walk out and a waitress asked if we were ok. I said no we are going elsewhere. She just said ok. Guess people don't care to work. read more

I'm a bigger BoomerJack's fan than I ever thought I'd be. Being celiac, a bar with bar foods isn't usually my first choice, but they actually have quite a few gluten free options here that aren't bad. The regular wings (not boneless) and the potato skins are my favorite options. If your food is gluten free it should be served on a blue and white checkered paper, so make sure it is! BoomerJack's also has great drink & food prices. That's the main draw!! Happy Hour all day everyday, different specials depending on when you go. I stick to cider and make a fireball shot if we're feeling festive! Always sit at the bar (especially when the weather is nice and they open up the windows), and I always leave happy and full. read more

Not sure if she was a hostess or a waitress but a girl walked us to a table but on the way she stops to chat with another customer at another table. We stood there not sure where to sit bc she was too busy talking. She gave us an option if we wanted smoke or non-smoke seating and we said non-smoke. however.. By the end of our meal I was getting nauseous from smoke smell and when we left our clothes were tainted with smoke smell. read more

Great patio setting and reasonable food prices marred by slow and indifferent service. I'll start with the patio, which is an awesome place to hang out when the weather is dry. Several heat lamps and a gas-powered firepit make the patio comfortable even in cool weather. Several televisions are tuned to various sports. A mix of large and small tables accommodate groups of all sizes. I took my team of 8 out for happy hour and we found a round table that was big enough for all of us. The service could use some help. We had to wait almost 30 minutes to place our order and were constantly looking for our server, who disappeared for long stretches at a time, even though the restaurant wasn't particularly busy. We ordered several appetizers from the happy hour menu, but our server dropped off a bill reflected regular prices - apparently our order was entered into the system after happy hour ended, even though we were seated at 5 and ordered at 5:30. After waiting in vain for our server to return, I finally went inside to track her down. She initially insisted that we placed our order after happy hour had ended, but I stood firm and finally got the manager to correct our bill. The happy hour appetizers are a good deal if you can get them, though. The $5 mozzarella bites and fried pickles were great. Yummy onion rings and fried jalapeno chips also (no happy hour pricing). Two stars is the most generous I can give because the folks working were friendly and having fun and I mean no disrespect to the front of house staff. The food is not passable, at all, I should have taken the advice of previous reviews. I mean this exactly how I say it: the chicken wings were an affront to God himself. Small, meatless, overcooked and glazed with horrid sauce to the point of an odd sugar crust crunch. I got the ghost pepper and also the mango habanero, neither of which contained any trace of pepper flavor but were so packed full of sugar and other various ingredients it was confusing. I dislike having to leave poor reviews because I know someone, somewhere out there cares about this place but they were absent today. It takes a lot to mess up beer and wings on a Sunday afternoon but congrats to Boomerjacks for doing just that. read more

I asked if they had gluten free bread. The waitress said no so I ordered a cheeseburger with pepper jack in a lettuce wrap. It came out with unedible lettuce, burned and American cheese. When I pointed it out the waitress offered to bring me a piece of cheese. The manager came and apologized and said they do have gluten free. By the time they remade it, everyone else was done eating and I had to get it to go. After all of that, they not only charged me for the burger (which by the way was brought out with no lettuce) but also an additional $2 for the gluten free bread which I will now get to eat cold because it took so long to get. This is the perfect place to spend game day, no matter the game! The patio is a really cool environment with tons of big screen tv's and light wrapped trees. We went to watch the final game of basketball so the patio was pretty full. Our waitress was amazing, despite being so busy. We never had a drink empty or a need that wasn't met. She was awesome at making sure we had everything as soon as she possible could. We had drinks and appetizers and both were great! I recommend the Island Girl (pictured) for anyone that likes fruity mixed drinks. The appetizer trio was also really good. They have a perfect menu for game day! I would definitely recommend giving this restaurant a try when you're in the area. read more

I don't usually do this but the service and actions by the Manager on Duty tonight was less than poor. He allowed a party to come in and adjust the seating to their desire. They were rude and he didn't even care. This is even after it was brought to his attention.. I had no room to maneuver in my seat. These customers were literally hitting me in my back when there was plenty of space for them to simply adjust their seats in the other direction. I asked for the district managers number, and the manager on duty first told me he was the district manager then he changed it to. He was the general manager. know and understand it's hard out here. I'm also in the restaurant business. I get it, BUT... every customer is important and deserves to be treated with respect because they are spending their hard earned money. I have been here many many times and have never been treated in such a manner.... I will never return. read more

Absolutely horrible horrible food and service. When finally flagging down our waitress for anything she would run away after we said one thing. Seriously. And the food that we finally got brought to us had clearly been sitting out for I don't know how long. My burger was a gross pile of mush at that point. We asked for a double crown and coke and it came out wrong. Instead of fixing it the waitress just poured it in a different glass and poured more water or soda in it to make it seem full. read more

I came here for lunch with a few friends after a movie at the Movie Tavern on Saturday. I've never had a desire to have lunch at a chain bar place, but my friends like it so we went. Ambiance: First of all, I enjoyed the atmosphere. It was warm out, but not unbearable so we sat on the patio. I can see this being a fun place to have drinks and watch sports games. It's a chill bar/restaurant. It smelled a bit like smoke, but I think there was a guy nearby lighting one up. Service: Our server was quick to bring our drinks out. The food actually came out fairly quickly too, and we were out of there pretty quick. Food/Drinks: As far as drinks go, they have several options - mixed drinks and beers. But now to the fun part: the food! Guys...they are now serving the Impossible Burger!!! I was SO happy to see this on the menu because I've been wanting to try it everywhere. They had it, I ordered it. It was everything I dreamed of and more. I know, I know... Processed fake meat is not great for you, but you gotta splurge every now and then, right? Hands down the best Rueben sandwich I have had since moving to Texas. I had given up on finding a proper marbled rye Rueben in the south, but I must announce that I was mistaken.....here it is. I hate delivery fries, they show up cold and soggy, unable to be revived by any oven. Being single, I eat alot of delivery food now. Boomer Jack's steak fries showed up perfectly seasoned and cut the perfect size...not big and soggy, not small and too crispy. I've been to the boomer jacks in arlington and it's sooooo gooddd. But this one is not good at all. We order mozzarella bites and they were huge blocks of cheese instead of the normal bites. The blocks were so big the cheese in the center was ice cold. Then i got wings and they were so soggy and tasted frozen. Then the fries were soggy and tasted like they've been sitting in grease all day. Also, the waitress was never around and my drink was empty the whole time. I was not expecting to be writing another review 7 years later. I thought this company's corporate offices corrected their diversity and staff training but maybe I was wrong. I was sitting in the patio area outside near the big screen tv and the chairs that have cushioned seats and backs. I was sitting there for nearly an hour with no help from any staff member even as I tried waving them down with my hands. Then an hour later a group of 3 sat across from me in the same area and immediately Tiara (pronounced TEE - ERA) came and waited on them. I then decided to tab out and asked to speak with a manager. I spoke with the manager that was near the kitchen area and told him I don't want anyone else going through this. I don't want my military friends or anyone dealing with this type of service (or other underlying issues). Hopefully this can get resolved and they can work on training for better service. I'll send this same message to their corporate office in hopes for change. Also, this happened on Wednesday, September 7, 2020 at 7:24 pm if there needs to be a security camera review of the situation. Thanks! read more

They've lost a couple stars for me because of some recent experiences that makes it seem they've gone downhill; and honestly, they slightly have. The best servers there are the bartenders: Marsha, Blue...But in the last year I've had several negative experiences, mostly with the table service. (I have a rule that when at a restaurant, sit at the bar because you'll get service faster since the bartender is there where the waiter is going around multiple tables; but this is a bit different) One time in the last year, I came here with my father, stepmother and stepsister, and we sat at a table and rarely saw the waitress. She came one time to inquire about drinks, but never came back. My stepmother was getting irritated after half an hour and eventually caved to my prodding to see the bartender and place the order there. The bartender put the order in and the food came out quickly; but the waitress didn't even return. In the last few weeks, twice I went out with my friends (one just the prior day) and the server asked them about food but completely ignored me. The first time, I wanted food but was so annoyed that I went somewhere else afterwards and got food; but the other day I didn't really want food but was still annoyed that the waitress didn't even bother asking me what I wanted. Yesterday, the same experience as above, I was beyond irritated with the server, who ended up bringing my friends bone-in wings when they asked for boneless and, even when she asked to confirm twice with them, they said boneless, she brought out bone in and never once acknowledged she made a mistake. When my friend wanted the fries that come with the boneless and was upset because they didn't come out with the wings, the server did not acknowledge she made a mistake and simply said the wings don't come with fries. I went to the bartender, Marsha, who confirmed that yes, bone-in fries don't come with the fries where boneless do, she asked if I'd like to get some fries on the house for my friend because of the situation, so I did. She truly saved the day there; but I was more irritated than I usually am; because mistakes happen, and I don't often care, I'll point it out just to make it known; but this was just too much. I would also point out that I will not come out during the daytime anymore because of an experience I had coming out for lunch one day within the last year where I sat down at the bar (because of my belief that the bartender is faster than the waiter), there was hardly anyone there but I sat there for at least ten minutes and the bartender at the time didn't even acknowledge me-not even a "hello". I sat there for another five or ten minutes without even being talked to before I decided just to walk out and go to MK Sushi-which was more expensive, but at least they acknowledged my presence. Boomers has gone downhill a bit. The bar, at night, is still the best way to go as far as service and the speed of the food. Don't go in the daytime, you won't get good service (even though they're practically empty), and honestly every single time I've come out here, my experience at the bar versus my experience at the table, has shown the bar service is far superior. read more

I really enjoy Boomerjacks as a non-Texan so my husband will take me to the different BoomerJack's by our house but i have noticed that every location serves weak drinks. They have great deals but the drinks are juice. The Buffalo boneless wings are my favorite on the menu and the atmosphere on Cowboy game nights is amazing. We will continue to visit different locations i just hope they balance the drinks better. To this location specifically i feel that the waitress we have had have been rude with attitudes or not around at all. We were recently here on Sunday and our waitress was Mia a lot and she was very rude when asked a question I know they have a new manager and he seems great. This is one of our favorite locations but we haven't been coming as often due to not great service. read more

Ordered a Cobb salad via Uber Eats and it came fairly quickly! It had alllll the right fixins and the RANCH was so good. I am weirdly picky about ranch, and I am not sure what specific element it is that I'm tasting in the "good" ones that I don't taste in others but YES boomerjacks has it!
