Bad experience for kids. Brought my 7-year-old daughter here to go the the water park. Shes a bit of a tom boy and doesnt wear girls swimsuit; Board shorts and fitted work out top is what she likes to wear swimming. Here's what their website says: "Proper attire are shirts that are tight, non-cotton, form fitting to the body rash guard or sun protecting shirt cut top with an appropriate bathing suit bottom. Regular bathing suits are suitable as well. Grommets, rivets, buckles, belts, or metal ornamentation are not permitted. Water shoes can be worn in the Buccaneer Cove area, but are not allowed on any of the water slide." Everything she was wearing fell in line with their requirement.. shirt was 100% poly. She gets to the top and the staffer tells her she cant go on the ride because of the shirt. I ask for the manager to explain. Staff goes talk to the manager at a distance. Instead of them coming over, I can see them pointing and shaking their head. Staffer comes by without the manager and says that if she wants to swim she can take off her shirt. I said shes a girl. He didnt care. I told them their policy but nothing. Was going to talk directly with manager but my daughter was already upset so didnt push it. Daughter started to cry. So we left. After lunch, the boy pushed the girl in the pond during bumper boats. Ah. Young Love. One year later, the girl pushed the boy into insanity and watched him drown in the dark abyss of his emo pain. Gee, where do I start? It's $20 per person to get into the water park. It has all of 4 slides, at least one of which is completely lame, even for my 5 year old. There's a slide for kids under 36 inches. Although thats the only slide they can ride, and it's completely pathetic even for a 2 year old, they still have to pay the full $20 to ride that one slide. There's also a $5 "chaperone fee" just for the privilege of watching your own kids. Now moving on to the actual rides. The stairs leading to the slides are metal. Metal and water are not a great combo. I fell once, my daughters fell 3 times and other kids were falling left and right. To compound this hazard they have these waterfalls that pour water onto the stairs. The blue and yellow slides are decent. Interestingly, although it wasn't that crowded there was a significant wait for each slide. Even though it's a 15 second ride, there was at least a 2 minute wait between riders. There's an attendant at the bottom that presses a button when it's clear. This causes the slide to turn green and the attendant at the slide to allow you to go. The guy at the bottom was too busy talking to his friends and not paying attention. The attendant at the top kept whistling at him and raising his arms to say "what the hell are you doing". This happened after nearly every rider. Then came lunchtime. The food took forever to come out and was expensive with tiny portions. Never seen a side of fries that small before. Vending machines don't work. There's only one bathroom in this place, which happens to be on the opposite end of where the water park is. To continue our little double date last Friday night, we headed to Boomers which is next door to Irvine Lanes. We played a round of mini golf ($9/ person) and took a turn on the go-cart race track ($7 per person). Needless to say, we got our respective inner kids to come out. It was fun and totally something I would have done in high school had I been allowed to date back then. Of course, it was busy with middle and high schoolers on a Friday night. Parking is free but the fun to be had is not. Come prepared to pay for it. read more

Where do I start? Since my daughter has fun here and is young and oblivious to the irks I deal with at this place, I'll give it a star. First of all, I love and use Yelp all the time but hardly ever write reviews, but after today, third time's a charm at this place, I couldn't wait to pull out my computer and write up a review. One visit here earlier this summer, there was a guy working one of the slides who clearly did not want to be there... he had bigger fish to fry, which was texting on his phone. I actually couldn't believe that he was so blatantly not paying attention to when the slide was clear for another rider to go. The kids were the ones pointing to the green light that they can go. And when he wasn't texting, he was looking off into the distance of the 405 Freeway. This was kind of alarming as a mother, but thought "Oh, well, whatever, he's young and it's our first time. I'm not going to get judgmental here." Second visit really upset me. They have no signage anywhere posting that you are not allowed to bring in outside food. In fact, you see everyone eating food they packed. I've seen hotdogs to sandwhiches. Well, me and my party purchased a cabana (for $50 bucks!) and they made a huge deal about our cooler we brought. We genuinely did not know it wasn't allowed, had us call management at some customer service number, and when we called this number they said they had no idea why they told us to call since they don't handle managerial things. Lots of us are season passholders and with the purchase of the cabana, especially with no signage otherwise, good customer service would have said something to the effect of "next visit, only our food purchased here can be allowed in." Instead, these young workers with no customer service skills kind of torment you! And then... guess what?! Third visit, I remember what happened with the cooler incident. Purchased food there at Boomers just so when me and my daughter were walking into Buccaneer Cove, they tell us food isn't allowed in that day! Now that is what pushed me over the edge on this place. Is this a new rule? Was it only for today? Why no warnings upon entering? Why no sign... even a makeshift one?! Why then do they have carts inside the water section selling Icees and Pretzels, Dippin' Dots, etc.? They are not consistent! I've basically had it at this point! The icing on the cake is coming across pushy, inconsiderate families. After finishing up a slide, I come back to our chairs completely moved, my sandals are missing, my child's shoes are thrown about and my bag is just sitting there on the floor. A family (who only had a stroller but must have thought they had a huge camp) decided to take over and move in, completely blocking the walkway that kids need to use after getting off the slides. I tell one of the workers about this and how it's probably hazardous to the children who have a little sliver of walkway left to get through, and the girl looked at me and said "Okay, I'll tell our manager" and immediately turned her back on me to fill up an Icee for someone. Young, minimum wage workers who don't care and are rude. There is no supervisor making rounds in here. If you want her, she's called in from inside Boomers facility. And I haven't even mentioned the injuries that have happened here. A friend of mine sliced his arm up from a slide that isn't flush. A kid showed me his ankle that had bumps on it from a turn on one of the slides (kind of like a rug burn.) My daughter fell today one one of their slippery steps. I know this is a long review... I apologize... and I won't even get into the inside part of Boomers. Like I said, my daughter who is 4 gets excited to come here and doesn't realize all this stuff, which is the only reason why I gave it any rating at all! read more

My wife and I came here tonight for a round of mini golf. The cost was $10 per person (we didn't have any discounts, though I hear some are available if you look around), and there were two courses to choose from. The crowds were not bad for 8:00 on a Friday night. We waited a couple of minutes at some holes for the group in front of us to finish, and sometimes moved right ahead without any delay. No complaints there. The course difficulty was reasonable - we had a good mix of holes that took 2-3 strokes, a couple that required the full 6 strokes, and even had a couple of holes in one. The overall condition of the property was disappointing. The mini golf courses looked very shabby. Many holes had worn turf, exposed concrete instead of turf, and missing signs. The point where the two courses cross was poorly marked - it would be nice to have signs or ground markings to point the way to the next hole for each course. The grass around the courses (if it can be called that) was pitiful. It was more weeds than grass. But the worst feature was that about half of the lights around the course were inoperable, making it difficult to see well enough to play. At the 18th hole, which is like a skee-ball ramp you shoot up into, there were no lights whatsoever, making the target nearly pitch black. It was like trying to putt blindfolded into a black hole. Not very impressive. It's clear the owners here don't take much pride in their facility. It's kind of like going to a dollar theater - it's older, run down, and plays out of date movies. Except this "dollar theater" mini golf course charges full price. I probably won't be back. read more

Went to this location for the first time , pros: funnel cake here is amazing, good selection of beer on tap , kitchen staff was very friendly, complimented juana the cook for her fast accomadating personality and delicious food , thank you for a great dinning experience! as far as Gaming area it has a good selection of games , my daughter loved the lazer tag could not get her to leave ! cons: some of the staff is rude and hard to get ahold of in arcade and outside area, i was having reoccuring problems with my play card not wanting to work, and when i tried to get someones attention they continued to walk away . overall needs improvements but would definetly go back for the lazer tag and food, good place to kill time with friends and grab a delicious bite to eat ! read more

Like the other reviewers before me, I'm not really sure how this place has survived through the years. It reminds me of Chuck E Cheese, but it's slightly more tolerable since there are things for adults to do. You could easily drop $50 here and stumble out wondering what just happened. I've only been once during a Saturday adventure with a friend. We decided we wanted to see what Boomer's had to offer two girls who had nothing else planned for the day. We should have took the guy yelling "ghetto" in the parking lot as a sign, but we continued into the dark arcade to form our own opinions. Mistake #1. Mistake #2: We spent $25 on arcade credits and proceeded to only play skeeball, since most of the games were really old and required too many tickets. Some of the games we tried to play didn't work and stole our credits. Mistake #3: We headed out to play mini golf, which wouldn't have been an entirely bad experience, but it was so crowded. We had a line of families in front of us for each hole that significantly delayed the process and left everyone bored as they waited for their turn. Mistake #4: Our last activity was a round in the batting cage. I didn't notice the signs and went into the fast pitch (80 mph) cage. Holy crap! The balls were curving to each side and didn't seem to have a straight path. I couldn't get out fast enough. I could have overlooked the batting cage, but this place just isn't worth visiting. I would much rather get my mini-golf fix somewhere else or go bowling next door. read more

Unorganized place, with rude management ... Craig Stieglitz who introduced as a manager of the place was so unprofessional and disrespectful to the customers. It was a great place few years ago and I came back to fresh my good memory but I shouldn't do that :( Most of the rides was not working fine , the price went up which I really didn't care if it was working. and they hire young unprofessional people and the worst manager Craig Stieglitz to disrespect their customers. I wish I could give you more detail about how bad they treat me and my family but I don't like to bring the exact conversation to the public. I've been to Boomers with my kids quite a few times over the last few years just to kill some time, but this review is for a party we just threw there for my son and his friends. We purchased the basic party package, which is a decent deal and includes one attraction and some points to spend in the arcade and added on with 4 hours of unlimited video game play. The hostess for the party, although nice, was not really that attentive, and spent most of her time hanging out with her manager. Other places we've been to for hosted parties usually have someone that is constantly watching and filling drinks for kids and checking to see if they want more pizza, etc. That didn't happen here. Also, they gave us the cards for each kid with no explanation of what the unlimited video games meant and that they are only good for games with the blue scanner. I totally understand why (can't have unlimited plays on games that give tickets), but they really should explain it so you don't have 10 kids running around wondering why the card doesn't work. The last unpleasant experience was with the guy manning the register at their cafe. He had a nasty disposition and was pretty rude to the people in front of me. Luckily he was replaced before we got to the front and we were helped by a much friendlier lady. Only problem was that after we paid he was the one in charge of giving us the dippin dots, and again, not the nicest guy in the planet. He just seemed frustrated and overwhelmed by people asking him questions. Two stars instead of one because Boomers itself is actually really cool. They have a great selection of games and their miniature golf is a really fun course, and the place is super clean. They also have a really good laser tag area and fun rides, including go karts, outside. So I recommend the place, just don't pay for the party package. read more

Trying to get anything done in this kiddie hell hole is like literally pulling your own teeth with a pair of rusty pliers! The software system they use is so old and decrepit, it makes the DMV feel like a one click Amazon checkout! At no point in time do I ever wanna go through this again.. (although I now I have a season pass). I hope in the future that they figure out how to fix these problems and not make us want to kill our own children so we never have to come back. The only saving grace was the excellent customer service provided by Vivian and Veronica at Sunset Grill. They deserve promotions, raises and nominations for the Nobel Peace prize. Boomers is really lame, even for kids. But then again, so is Irvine... I think the most decent thing here is mini golf. As far as I know, this is the only place you can mini golf in Irvine. Also, they ALWAYS have deals. If you sign up for their email club, you always get free $10 credit so I pretty much go here for free. Can't complain when it's free. Otherwise, mini golf isn't that great since the courses are always crowded by large groups that take forever to finish one hole. They're not very well labeled so we pretty much just go to whatever hole is available and it seems like everyone else does the same thing. Also, the go-karts here are for kids. Loved this place and really enjoyed myself here with the kids. My only complaint is that it is filthy. The bathrooms were disgusting and the floors. However, I understand when you have 100's if not 1000's of kids coming through a day, it's going to get that way. I simply suggest getting that cleanup sooner, please!! The rock wall is a great challenge, the go karts were fun, fast and safe. The mini golf could use some improvements, it all seems to be the same to me. Give me some variety people. Oh, and their laser tag...poor, poor laser tag. It's a room with some dividers and black lighting. Pretty pathetic. There is so much more they can do with this space to make it more enjoyable. You won't find me there, I know this much. I plan on going back for some batting cage action and more rock wall and go karts! read more

This place is terrible! Brought my students here as a reward field trip. Spent over $1000. Upon arrival we noticed all of the handrails were being painted, the kitchen was down for construction and rides were not in service. Spoke to the group sales manager Anniliese about my disappointment. She was rude and condescending. I understand her bitterness in her overall life as an overall average person in an average job as group sales coordinator at Boomers...but make the best out of what you have!! Or change it!! We come here every year, but this will be the last. I'm going to call the corporate office and make sure they're aware that they have such a cancer on their payroll. Took my one year and a half old son to the buccaneer cove and it was a disaster: after 25 min wait to check in for the cabana we rented (75$!!!) we get to the entrance and the lady had to send us back because the check in customer service forgot to tell us we have to pay an extra 5$ per person and get the bracelets. What is the point of a 75$ cabana if i still have to pay for each person?! and they wanted us to stand in line again!!! Horrible customer service. Also the water is recycled and cold as hell. I went to Boomers after OC DinDin-A-GoGo. The last time I visited Boomers was several years ago while I was attending UCI. I remember the place being packed with students and families having a great time. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was how empty and quiet it was. There was a whole section blocked off with black plastic where the ticket games used to be. I'm not sure whether or not it was under remodeling since there were no signs suggesting it. Most of the arcade machines were not maintained, having screen and controller issues. The only game I enjoyed during this visit was the two player tank game as everything was functioning properly. The one decent thing that still remains is the outdoor area. The batting cage is still fun with different levels of difficulty to try. Kids were racing in go karts and appear to be having fun. And mini golf appeared to be maintained although some parts of the green are missing, like the ball holder. It is sad to see that a place that I used to enjoy be in the shape that it is today. The only thing that would draw me into coming are the batting cages and maybe the mini golf. Otherwise, I would probably go to D&B if I wanted to play games (and drinking is always a plus). read more

Definitely a fun spot when you want to feel like a kid again..first time here this evening and was definitely pleased. **pros** Lots of parking Security guard walking around the place at all times Love that everything is paid for on a card, instead of having to carry around money and ur tickets. After about an hour we were hungry so we thought we'd try the food and read from other yelpers the chicken strips were good, as soon as we walked up to the counter a associate named Vivian greeted us with a smile and we were asking here about what she would recommend and she as well said chicken strips or the pizza are popular, so we took her advice and got the strips! She was very friendly and just took initiative on recommending a bigger size of drink for the cost since there's no refills..she also asked how our nights been going and if we were having fun.. Definitely rare to find customer service that was just genuine and really took interest in customers with a smile. After we got our food I told her thanks again for just being extremely friendly and when we sat down I had noticed she was like that with all the customers that were ordering as well as took note she was cleaning the area when no one was there. I like to see that especially from a place I'm choosing to eat at. Before we were about to leave for the night I came back and got come dipping dots and I thanked her for her customer service. 4 stars are based off my customer experience with Vivian..thanks again! Will be back for sure:) **Recommendations** -Batting cages area could use some newer bats and helmets..outdated..definitely not 80mph balls.. I bought a season pass because it seemed like a great deal. I've been 4 times now and each time has been a huge disappointment. Most days, there is ONE or TWO people running ALL the rides. This means if there is one other kid who wants to do merrygoround, but my kids want the gokarts, then we have to wait for merrygoround kid to finish. We were there 2 hours and my kids got 2 rides in. Another time we went, the only thing open was mini golf as one person was inside running laser tag. Even though this pass was dirt cheap compared to other amusement parks, it feels like a huge rip off. read more

All of the workers here need to get retrained or at least look a little bit happier! Came for work with a huge group, pre-ordered all of the cards and the meal vouchers. This establishment seems fun though - laser tag, mini golf, go-carts, lots of arcade games, batting cages, etc. Worth the price of $18.99 per kid for 4 hours of fun (doesn't include arcade games, must purchase extra). When I came to pick up the cards for the students, workers at the ticket booth were confused, not nice, and had some attitude. What is NOT worth the price are the food vouchers! $10 for chicken strips, hamburger, or hot dog with a bag of chips (NOT FRIES like it says), and a drink. Although our event coordinator said that we could get either a veggie burger or salad, the workers at the front kept arguing with the teenagers that were vegetarian. I had to call and get it all sorted it, but not without some attitude from the workers. One even said to one of my girls, "We're ONLY doing this for you since you can't eat meat, but that doesn't mean everyone else can get it either." Only 3 out of the 50 students asked. Thank you to one of the event coordinators for coming down and making sure it was clear that we could get the veggie burger or salad. PLUS this cost less or the same amount as the other options. Personally, I think the $10 should be used for anything on the menu as long as it is less than the price purchased. My first corn dog I ordered (not part of the voucher) was still frozen on the inside and had to have them remake it. Feedback from the students said that Boomer's was their least favorite activity of the weekend, especially the food situation. Will be re-evaluating if we will be coming back next year! Not sure what it's like going without a large group with prepurchase cards & vouchers though. read more

It's been years since I've been to Boomers, and the only reason I stopped in recently is that I was having a major Dippin Dots craving. Yup, Boomers carries Dippin Dots ... in a VENDING MACHINE. The machine doesn't actually work and you have to find a staff member to manually open it, but nothing is going to keep me from Banana Split flavor when I'm on a tastebud mission!! FYI, if you order Dippin Dots at the counter, you have to pay tax. However, if you pretty much coerce the staff member to open the vending machine to manually retrieve your DD and put your $$ inside, it's tax free. Hmmm, weird. Saved from the 1-star review just because of the Dippin Dots. Unfortunately, everything else about Boomers warrants the empty parking lot (that gets crowded with food trucks). Half the arcade machines don't work, it's dirty as hell... there are even flies around the empty buffet set up. If you're curious to see what warrants "ghetto" in Irvine, I can't think of a better example. read more

Now I know why Dave and Busters enforces an age restriction. Spend five minutes at Boomers and you'll quickly conclude that it's the anus of Irvine. The arcade area smells putrid, a fair amount of the machines don't work, and most of the ticket redemption machines are busted. Patrons tend to consist of irresponsible moms who allow their kids to run rampant, troops of children excited to celebrate a birthday at a craphole, and high school couples on their first dates. True, removing the general populace would make this place much more enjoyable. Unfortunately an unoccupied amusement park is still a crappy amusement park. The arcade is in poor shape (although kids seem to hate 2D fighters and those seem to work alright) and you'll probably pay comparable costs at Dave and Busters. Don't play any redemption games either. The prizes are terrible. You can redeem a bar of melted Mini Twix for 75 tickets, or you can save up for a Twilight themed trivia game for 4000 tickets. Your choice! The park itself draws less criticism. You'll find staples like mini golf, go karts, and bumper boats. I played a round of golf, and the course was a little beat up but serviceable in the end. I can't speak for the other "attractions", but they looked safe to use from what I could tell. Avoid Boomers. Not because of its specific undesirable elements, but the sum of its parts. Furthermore, it echoes a time when arcades thrived and video games were more than playing Modern Warfare 2 and Halo 3 on your couch. It's depressing, to say the least. read more

The good ol days of Palace Park make me sad whenever I come back to this place. Cheap wristband Tuesdays and Thursday, a sectioned off area for free games...and affordable tokens instead of this credit card/point system nonsense, I miss it all but it is what it is. But my review regards the mini golf outside the arcade. I've been twice this year to have a fun round of mini golf with my friends. Not that I expected much to change, but I couldn't help be disappointed both times (I had fun with my friends but when you notice things it's just blah). The golf course is pretty pathetic, and I'm not even talking about the state of things. There are difference courses to follow, and so many in such a small place you lose your place extremely easily. After a while of misleading signs (a 6 imprinted in the cement with a 7 sign right above it), I'm pretty sure everyone who comes here just takes on their own path until they've had enough. The courses aren't only confusing, but old now aswell. The water is filthy, the golf ball launch pads (i don't know lol) are also filthy with crumbed rubber, and there is old grass, plants and bricks everywhere. Mini golf here is $9 which really is why I even go back. It is fun if you don't mind not going in order, other than that it's nothing spectacular. read more

I live across from Boomers and my husband and I have tried the batting cages a few times with no luck. All the machines except maybe 2-3 were broken each time and the wait was ridiculous. The money that we put on our game card kept having trouble and was not worth the effort to fix. I did take my niece (4 years old) here and she had fun though. While it's not a very good mini golf/go-cart/arcade place, it's an even worse neighbor! They say they are open until 11 pm but it's almost 1 am right now and the go-karts are still racing and kids are still screaming... hence the 1 star rating. Thanks Boomers, who needs sleep anyway?! ***Still not impressed! At the 11 pm tonight I finally called the police department to complain about the noise and they said someone had already been called over to tell Boomers to keep the music down. It is now 3 am and the music is just as loud as ever (they did turn it down for a little while apparently when dispatch got there and asked them to)! How is it fair the the airport can't take flights after 10, but Boomers can play their music at all hours of the night and morning? read more

My husband and I much rather spend our money in Chucky Cheese or Bump it up w/ way better customer service experience and less expensive next time. Booking a Bday party for my kids here at Boomers , Irvine was something that me and my husband been wanting to do for them for a while now and when the day finally came here it was a COMPLETE FAIL!!!! We had about 25 adults in the room + 14 kids. The room was super hot, 83 degrees at the very least, all of our guest were sweating their butts off inside seating in the party room than they were outside in the arcade ( which it was still hot but better than their party rooms, at least ours was). It was a little embarrassing for us to see our guests having to step outside the room to have a beer or get some air of how hot it was. Everyone noticed their lack of service. Did not get a chance to interact w our guests or seat down to eat bc I was already all stressed out w the room and experience so far. In addition, we were supposed to have a host to help us throughout the Bday party which was ONLY 1 hour and half. We'll be lucky if we got 30 mins of their service (on and off). I didn't expect them to stand there like guards at my service but be there to alleviate the stress of having to pick up plates ect. Hosts brought all the food we ordered , did not helped us pick up plates after kids or guests or refill cups of water. I mean what are they supposed to be there for then?? Me , my husband and some family members had to help me collect plates and throw them away throughout the time there. We even placed some stuff on top of the trash can bc of how cluttered it looked. We asked them to turn on the music bc it was not only hot and quiet in the room. I wanted to create an ambiance for the guest. The music work for 10 minutes , had to keep going in and out the room to ask about 5 times to turn it on. They finally told me they are not working at the end and they couldn't turn it back on. The only one working was room 1 which really posses me off and TV did not worked. The whole thing was not good customer service experience wise. I didn't get to enjoy my kids party being more worried about my guests and the horrible service. I kept coming in and out of the room and about 4 girls seating in the main lobby chatting. I wouldn't recommend this place for parties , we spent a lot of money and we didn't get the premium experience that we thought we would get based on the looks and advertisement of the place. The ONLY reason I give 2 stars is bc the games are kept in good condition and luckily kids had fun playing unlimited all day. I have had Bday parties at Chucky cheese and I can't almost get off the host off my side. They are on it !!!!! and that's why family / friends continue to give them their business. Just work on that CS experience bc is everything for your business and what will separate you from other competitors out there. read more

I haven't been here since it was still called Palace Park. Now I know why. How this ghetto-ass place still survives is beyond me. I remember when this place was the shit! All the latest and greatest arcade games, a bouncy laser shootout house, the spiffy new mini golf course, a decent restaurant.... all of which is virtually nonexistent as of today. I came here with my gf primarily for a round of mini golf. We got a couple clubs and hit the course of our choice; I think we went with the red one. Most of the plastic ball holders are gone from the tees, so you just have to place your ball on what looks like a man-made hole and hope it doesn't roll away, as mine did many times. One of the holes was closed due to a massive bee hive hanging off the score marker, so we had to run around it since I'm allergic and all. We probably could've done another round and no one would have noticed, but by the time the 18th hole showed up we'd had our fill. We went inside and got as chicken breast sandwich and a drink. Mistake. I don't know what the hell the restaurant inside is called, but I can tell you it sucks. It's hard to describe the exact level of suckage we're talking about here, but it's one of those "know it when you see/taste it" kinda things. Trust me, I know. Our meal came with 15 free credits of game play (which is, like, 3 one-player games), so we decided to briefly hit the arcade. The coolest looking game was Terminator (unfortunately, based off the last shitty movie), which had this huge gun that called to my male ego. I slid my card, aimed my weapon... and proceeded to get blasted by every enemy until my lifeless carcass hit the dirt since the goddamn game wouldn't allow me to aim my gun at anything. All I could do was shoot into a pile of dirt on the ground. Fantastic. We left soon thereafter. I don't know why the hell I would go back. Perfect for a 10 year old birthday. Major reasons it's a two star? Service and Arcade/Prizes. Service was rushed for the semi-private birthday rooms. It was clearly a high-turnover cattle herding operation in their minds. The ride operators and pretty much everyone else are basically zombies. Don't get me wrong, I don't exactly want them to be crazy, energized, Disneyland actors or anything, but a little smile and genuine interest in helping people is not too much too ask. Arcade/Prizes: watch the machines for credit/ticket issues. I had to call for help with more than one machine. It also took calling, flagging, and talking to other employees multiple times to get someone to help, realize the machine wasn't working, and finally credit back the card. Also, the prizes you can trade in your tickets for RIDICULOUSLY over priced. When we were there, we all pooled a couple thousand tickets for the birthday boy. What could he get for a couple thousand that collectively took $150 to earn? Basically candy. Anything of real interest or value was at least another 1000 tickets. I've been to many a place with a ticket/prize set up like this and never seen such unbelievably high requirements to get anything of value. read more

The positives are: - The facility is clean. - The video games are plentiful. - The race tracks are well-maintained. - The miniature golf courses are nicely kept. - The clienteles are nice decent people. - The service is more decent than some other places. - The laser tag room is nicely designed The negatives: Let's face it. This place is a money pit. Every attraction is over-priced. $8.00 for the Water Bumper ride?! Also, instead of using tokens like some places, they use charge-cards like "Dave and Buster's". You don't realize how much money you just spent until your wallet is empty. The worse sin of all is the trade-in-the-tickets-for-a-price games. These games were invented by Satan himself. Your kids will end up spending loads of your money in order to trade their tickets in for some worthless trinket that is worth a fraction of what you've spent. The trinkets are so worthless that they often do not even make it out of your car after you get home that night. Sad, isn't it? How we spend a ton of money to buy our children some brief moment of joy. read more

Came in a few days ago. Staff was friendly. No complaints there. The mini golf course was rough though. The holes seem to have a bump around them making it extremely difficult to make an easy putt. I like playing mini golf with friends for the competition so playing on this course wasn't fun at all for me. It basically came down to, "who got the luckiest". I have no intention of coming back personally, considering this was my first time, and it wasn't good. Camelot is close enough. read more
