This mini golf course is located inside the Pixar Hotel in Anaheim. To find Pixar Putt, enter the hotel from the parking lot then turn right. You need to check in with the staff and pay the fees. I went with my nephew and we played against each other. I never played golf in my life so I didn't know what to expect. The golf course is small but it was colorful and each hole has different themes. Even though it's small, it still took us about an hour and a half to finish the entire course. There were times we had to wait for the group ahead of us to finish before moving on to the next hole. Guess who won? Me!!! By the way, you can enter the gated parking lot by informing the attendant that you're there for Pixar Putt. Really fun theming -- visually a stunning course, especially if you're a far of Pixar movies. Not as fun on the pure mini-golf aspect, as several of the holes were "broken," meaning the Ferris wheel on the Inside Out hole was out of order, golf balls jumped over the wall because of uneven seams in the carpeting, and other holes seem impossible to naturally hit the ball into without cheating or placing it there with your hand. There are not many hole-in-one opportunities, so if you're an avid mini-golfer, it's probably not a great course for you. We had some fun, mostly because I love mini-golf and trying new courses, but as much as I love mini-golf, I don't think I'd come back, and don't think I'd recommend it solely on the golf part of the mini-golf course, nor do I think the course justifies the cost here. read more

A coworker told me he went to a birthday party at Great Maple and then they were instructed to go next door for mini-golf at the hotel. I looked it up online and sure enough there's a mini golf course inside the ballrooms of the Pixar Place hotel. We went on a Sunday and had reservations for 2 p.m. PARKING: I parked at Disneyland Hotel because I was going to Trader Sam's first, but you can park at Pixar Place Hotel parking and let them know you're there to golf and you should be able to get your parking validated for 3 hours. We decided to get a drink first at Trader Sam's at the neighboring Disneyland Hotel and were cutting it close but walked over to Pixar Place in less than 10 minutes and they weren't too concerned that were were a few minutes late. Inside the ballroom there are 18 holes that are themed to various Pixar films. It's really cute and you have a lot of great photo ops as well. I will say, it got hot in there, so bring one of those neck fans or a clickity-clack, where dem fans at - fan. It's like weirdly humid at points and it's better to have some sort of fan to cool you off. We had a good time and had to take a break round the 13th or 14th hole. We let the cast members know we needed to use the restroom and they were cool about it and told us to leave our clubs and balls against the wall then join in where we left off. We completed the course, with one 10 minute pee break, in about an hour and a half. If you just want to have a chill day and still do something Disney without going into the park, Pixar Putt is worth it. I paid $35 and have no annual pass, but I had a great time and got to check out the new hotel, which is also spectacular. I actually want to go back to Pixar hotel because of this experience to explore more. Great family and friends activity close to Disneyland! read more

The course itself is pretty small, and it gets crowded fast, which means a lot of waiting around between holes. When it's busy, the pace really drags, and it takes away from the fun. Thank goodness we went in the evening on a weeknight. It's also more of a "do it once for the novelty" kind of thing than a place you'd want to come back to again and again. While it was entertaining and worth trying, the value just didn't match the cost. If you're a Pixar fan looking for something different to do in Anaheim, it's worth checking out once, but I wouldn't say it's a must-do or something I'd repeat. read more

Pixar Putt at 2nd & PCH is challenging fun for the family. The theme of all 18 holes and the movies they represent are done very well and the courses are short but quite challenging and inventive in their different approach. The staff here was friendly enough and the unique style of the courses kept myself and my wife entertained throughout. The place is small and we were asked not to jump around the course which did lead to some fairly long wait times for some of the holes as there was a group of around 8 a couple in front of us. The price is a bit too expensive for what is provided but you are ultimately paying for the theming and photo opportunities that come with it so I understand. The place was easy to find and parking is ample in the neighboring harbor lot (I don't understand why everyone is complaining about the paid structure when free parking is available steps away across the street) Overall this was a cut and fun little night time event for us that I would recommend for families looking for a unique albeit small mini gold experience read more

Took my niece here who is 7 and she loved it. Place was a little crowded but it slows down at some courses. If you're a fan of these movies, they did a creative job on all of the 18 holes. Some were definitely more challenging than others, but I thought the concept was cool. I did see some younger kids playing and the way the course is set up, it's probably not ideal for very young kids. Place is also pricey but what did you expect. $75 for one adult and 1 kid!? This is probably between a 3 and 4. The different holes are really well themed. I thought that each one had both a fun look and interesting challenges. Really great pictures and a great interpretation in each one. The biggest problem is really the pacing of the holes, but it probably can't be helped given the amount of kids there. There was a huge backup that wasn't helped by the staff allowing some people to jump to the 10th hole and start there. It really just made the people at the 9th hole get backed up even more. The staff was really nice, just didn't know how to manage that many people and the problems with the amount of people that were scheduled to start every x minutes. Again, we're huge disney fans though so we loved the actual play. Really fun experience and pictures. read more

There are 18 different Pixar themed holes with the 18th hole having a unique and fun element to it. Some of the other holes also have surprises like that which was nice. A majority of the holes have a couple of pieces that are cool homages to the original films. You won't see many actual characters in the holes. An example is there is a Finding Nemo holes but none of the main characters are in it. Almost all of them are like that. I think it took about 40 minutes to do them all which also includes some waiting at each of the holes. My only constructive criticism is the employees said to go in order but there were some holes that were more challenging for small children and caused pretty big bottlenecks relative to the rest of holes. read more

I decided to check this place out after seeing it on TikTok! I came on a Saturday afternoon with my boyfriend. Parking was free for 90 minutes and they don't validate but if you play fast enough, you'll be able to get out on time! Now for the games. This area is one giant warehouse with 18 different holes. After a while, it felt really redundant and we found ourselves just amused with the little Pixar easter eggs. I think this place would do a lot better if they removed about 3-5 holes and made more special courses. I really liked the Up and the Inside Out 2 courses. The others didn't really have a unique factor. Overall, it was a cute one time date! Definitely come if you have kids. I think they'll like it more. read more

Daughter and I visited before Christmas. Heard about it from online and people in the neighborhood. First impression was the shock of the price. Glad there was a flash sale because we would not have played if there was not a flash sale. But even with the flash sale we spent $48 for the both of us to play. That seems pretty steep. The course set up was good. Holes were very creative... some were pretty easy and simple. A couple had a little more of a challenge. The holes being paired up with a Pixar movie was nicely done. This is about 3.5 for me. I was in a group of 6 after 7pm so it wasn't too crowded yet (we noticed it got overcrowded by 8pm). Each hole was creative and the details were super cute! My favorite was the Toy Story "the clawwwww" hole and the very last hole. Pricey for putt putt golf but of course it's Disney/Pixar and you're paying for the experience. My kids love mini-golf and all the Pixar movies, so this was a good idea. Booked a reservation online. I was able to buy a family pack of 4 for a discounted price. About $25 each plus fees Availability times are different when you do this, but I found something that worked. Parking was easy to find in the covered lot. First 90 minutes free. We arrived about 10 minutes early and they allowed us to go in. It was fairly crowded, but I think because of our timing, there were not too many families in front of us. Just be patient and expect to wait. A lot of families with young kids who are probably playing for the first time. The difficulty of each hole varies, but most were par 3. The stations are small and sometimes a bit awkward to try to hit your ball. However, we enjoyed the creativity of the designs - my favorites being Ratatouille, Coco, and the final hole - Up. There was one Elemental hole that had a windmill-like challenge, but that was down. We lost a few balls along the way, but you can just get another one up front. The staff was really friendly, guiding us and taking pictures if we asked. Overall, my family really enjoyed themselves and afterwards we hung out in the really nice shopping center. read more

Pixar Putt is a pop up mini golf event located in a popular Long Beach mall that requires paid parking. It has 18 courses, takes about 1-1.5 hours, and costs $30-35. Some may feel the event is probably worth at least $10 cheaper; however it is Pixar/Disney, so the price is expected in my opinion. Additionally, each course is beautifully crafted to feature different movies from Luca to CoCo to Wall-E to Cars. I truly appreciate the artists/engineers/etc behind it all. It is fun for players, but I imagine it was fun to create as well. Regardless, if it is within your budget, I recommend trying it at least once. The Par's for each hole were very difficult, so this may not be for the competitive person. If you're going to just have a good time, I highly recommend. Mediocre design, small space, and not worth the high price. The location is inside a mall area and pretty small. Considering the high price, the size, design/layout of the holes, and difficulty/fun was below my expectations. It doesn't even compare to other mini golf places (Boomers, Golf n Stuff). Case in point, our 7 year old (who was very excited for this) starting to get bored after 4 holes and asked to go to lunch. It was fairly crowded and we were asked to start on hole 11 instead of 1 which meant our hole 18 (the finale) was in the middle of our game (pretty lame). Overall, the design of each hole was not very well thought out and some were plain boring. Overall, I think they could have done much more with the Pixar characters to create an innovative, fun, and challenging mini golf course vs. just slapping their likeness on a few contraptions. read more

Parking is the garage in front of the Whole Foods Market, the first 90 minutes are free and then it's $2 every 30 minutes after. You have to walk down the block into the plaza and it will be on the left hand side. We came here with zero expectations, but ended up having fun. They had 18 courses to go through and the earliest you can check in to your reservation is 15 minutes before. The courses are on a platform which makes it a bit hard for the players to stand around. There is usually some build up of people when moving on to the next hole, so you might have to wait. You don't need to go in numerical order, but it is preferred. It is a little expensive, we paid $75 for 2 people. It did take us about an hour to finish all 18 holes. read more

First off, the staff are really nice and wonderful from what we experienced. I think this is more of a booking policy thing. I would place this between 2 and 3 stars. The setup is pretty cute and well put together especially for Pixar fans but the execution was lacking. We had an appointment for early and they had us start somewhere in the middle of the course in order to eliminate wait times. That part was fine. The instruction given to basically keep it quick caused a rushed and stressed feeling to the experience. We were totally hurrying through it. I hadn't realized it until later but it really took away from the experience. We didn't pay nearly $200 to rush around. The kids felt it too. If they work on their timing a bit better, it would be great. For example there were several parties there when it opened. Why not start early? That would alleviate some of the waiting and stress - especially when the instructions explicitly tell you to come at least 10 minutes early. It seemed to get worse later on. Longer lines. By the time we were about half way through, each hole had a line of at least two parties. All in all it was fine but should have been a better experience for what we were paying and for all the effort that is obviously put into it.
