I called at 12 pm to find out if the car was ready. He was yelling, being very rude and asking me why I am calling about my car. Don't call us, we will call you. I was in shock, Then Nick said just pick up my car and I don't have any time to work on it. I have never seen anything this crazy in my life. I think he's losing it.

I got off early and within 5 minutes of arrival my car was up on the lift and I'm being told exactly what's needs to be done. 3 minutes later I hear the saw cutting the pipe section out and he say $200 , I said heck yea. This place gives me the feel of auto shops back in NY or back in Cincinnati. The mechanic showed me the exhaust leak and told me why he cut the way he did. Awesome service even last minute.

I couldn't accept that outcome, the cars only worth about 5-7k as is. I went to CKO for a second opinion. Pretty quickly I got a call from Dan over at CKO telling me that the transmission is actually in good shape all things considered, and that the crack and leak they alleged it had didn't exist. The real problem? A few things unclipped that were digging into my wheel well. Dan and Colin worked together to identify the real issue while thoroughly examining the alleged issue and ruling it out, all in amazing time. They added the clips, and the noise was gone. Honestly, the cars driving better than it has in a long time after they did that. This experience really made me question all the other work I've had done recently from other mechanics that pushed me into it. I think they just thought it'd be easier to convince me because of my cars age, but Dan and Colin kept it honest, straightforward, and sent me on my way after clipping everything up. CKO is my new forever mechanic, so whenever I get any issues moving forward they're the first place I'm calling or heading to. Now it's April 10th, and we just found out they also weren't returning calls from the warranty company. That's over four months wasted with absolutely no progress, all because of disorganization and lack of professionalism. What a rip-off! I brought my car in for repair of 2 oxygen sensors. I was told that I would need…read moreto have a diagnostic check first. This would cost about $200 with tax, after which I received a laundry list of items they felt would be needed to be fixed - wipers, cabin filter, alignment, coolant change, valve cover gasket, brake fluid flush, trans service amounting to $1975. Plus, of course, $943 for the 2 sensors which I wanted to have replaced. These 2 oxygen sensors by Bosch, on-line, cost under $100 each. Wipers had been replaced not even a month ago. This casts doubt on the whole list they "suggested" needed to be fixed. Please be careful when bringing your car in here. He will try to upsell you a laundry list of what he wants to do to your car. Whether your car needs it or not is debatable.
