    Title: Verizon Stores Have Become Pointless - Zero Customer Service…read more I went into the Verizon store to switch my girlfriend from her current plan onto my family plan -- something that should be a basic in-store customer service request. Instead, Alexander told me I needed to call customer service because "they don't do that in the store." Seriously? Then what exactly is the purpose of having physical Verizon stores if customers are just going to be redirected to a call center to sit on hold? This is now my second terrible experience, between this location and the Southcenter Verizon store, and the pattern is obvious: the stores seem more focused on avoiding work and pushing customers away than actually helping people. The moment a request involves anything beyond trying to sell you something, suddenly nobody can assist and you're told to call a 1-800 number yourself. It's honestly embarrassing customer service for a company the size of Verizon. Customers take time out of their day to physically come into the store expecting support, only to be treated like an inconvenience. If Verizon's retail employees can't handle basic account changes, then these stores are nothing more than overpriced showrooms staffed by people unwilling or unable to help. Verizon talks a lot about customer experience, but based on these recent interactions, it's clear the company doesn't care about existing customers once they already have your money. Absolutely unacceptable service.

I was trying to move from my company's business account to my aunt's personal account, and I had everything set up and ready to go before walking into the store. We decided to go into a physical store to complete the transfer because I wanted to also get a new phone. When we walked in, a young lady and a young man were sitting at the first table ready to greet customers. When I told them what I was looking for, I was immediately told by the young lady that I needed to "call Customer Service." The right thing to do would have been to offer to do that together while in store, but she clearly wanted us out of there as soon as possible. She made zero effort to help us in any way possible, even though I had made it clear I even wanted to purchase a phone that day. Not only was she not in the least bit helpful, but she was also short and rude on top of it. Unfortunately, this likely means she was the Manager of the store. Don't ever go here - what a waste of time.

She said we have several Samsung S22s in stock. She was kind and even offered to put one aside for me. She even asked what color I wanted. The phone is for my 15yr old son and he does not care about the color I said, I just wanted to make sure you had some available. My mistake in not asking her for name. I let her know we would come tomorrow before 3pm. She assured me the phone would be waiting for us. On Wednesday July 19th my son and I drove to Burien from vashon and arrived at this AT&T store next to Safeway and UPS. We were greeted and were told it was going kg to be a few minutes. After about 10min it was our turn and I said, I called yesterday asking for S22 they said they would hold one for me today. The girl who was "helping" looked confused and excused herself. She asked her coworker "Do we hold phone for customers?" The coworker replied "No" I l told her what I had been told the previous day and she simply apologized and said they had no S22 in stock and had not had them for some time and they could only order them! Why the F**k was I told they had the phones in stock and also that they would hold one for me????? Stupid people make stupid mistakes like this! Waster my day off because of some IDIOT!!! I'll never come here for anything ever again!
