I'll check back more than a month later and I was told by Verizon that my phone was still locked and that I was actually in a contract which I was totally unaware of Without my knowledge, The representative at the store had signed me up for a contract and kept a unpaid balance of 36 cents which was to be paid over 36 months at 1 cent/ month.
