When she politely pointed it out and asked for a refund, the employee on duty refused to correct the error, stood over her in a threatening way, and told her he was going to call 911 to trespass her out of the store -- instead of doing basic customer service. She left shaken and embarrassed, and later that day she fell and injured herself because she was so upset. I went back the next day to get this sorted and asked to speak privately with the manager on duty. He shrugged, said he "already knew what happened," refused to review the security footage, and would not contact the other customer for clarification. No attempt to refund her, no compassion, zero accountability -- just dismissal. This wasn't a misunderstanding that they tried to fix. It was arrogance, intimidation, and outright negligence toward an elderly customer.
