Went in the other day to discus upgrading my phone when I was told that the upgrade would cost me $160 not ready to make that purchase I left and call Verizon corporate where I got my upgraded phone and an Apple Watch for $42. I was told while In store I had to pay $40 setup fee that couldn't be waived if you want to get scammed come here if you want to be treated well go to the signal bite location. read more

Very long wait times even when slow.... We were the only one waiting in line and it was 30 minutes or more. We should have driven to another Verizon. They were nice but the wait is ridiculously long. The guy was fixing a broken register instead of helping customers and they had 2 registers. Fixing the broken one was more important then helping customers! What a joke! We have had just the best support at this store from Ezra, who has been thorough, patient, knowledgeable and good natured with us. As boomers who did not grow up with phones and computers, we often find that we are treated with condescension when we try to get help in technology. Service was terrible. When me and my fiancé got there when it opened there were was us and another customer. We waited while the other customer got finished by then another customer came in. (To add some context, these were older customers that didn't fully understand their phones.) We went ahead and let the older gentleman go first before us because we wanted setup a plan for both of us. The worker at the time was already being rude to customers. It's understandable to be upset being the only one working but to be rude customers is not alright. When we were up next, we explained what we wanted to do, however, he only gave me a number to call. When my fiancé was trying to get his attention to possibly get her phone line set up, he completely ignored her until she had to call out two more times to get his attention only for him to tell both of us there's nothing else he can do. I don't know if it was an off day for him and I do hope his day gets better but he was not helpful at all and to warn those who are looking to setup a new phone plan to not go here. I rather recommend going to the store on Power and Superstition near the Lay-Z-Boy. I'll have another review there. read more

This store is wonderful.! My boyfriend and I decided to get on a phone plan with each other, and decided to go with Verizon instead of TMobile or AT&T, which is who we were in before. We stopped by the store on Tuesday night, nick ran some numbers for us, and everything looked so good, we decided to go through with switching services right then and there, even though we originally planned on just stopping by to run the numbers and think about it. We never felt pressured to sign up, or felt like he was trying to talk us into a sale. He was just letting us know what was available, what it would cost, and left the rest up to us. We ended up having to order both the phones we wanted, which I understand, no big deal. And our phones got to the store in a day and a half. Once we got to the store to pick them up, nick was extremely helpful and helped us get everything set up perfectly.! My boyfriend was having issues getting his phone number ported over, due to incorrect info, so we ended up having to spend about 3 hours in the store. Never once did Nick seem irritated or annoyed by how long it was taking, even though we didn't end up leaving until about 4 minutes before closing. He was the only one working, and was able to help a few customers between helping us, and never broke a sweat. Ive worked retail the last 10 years, and I know how frustrating it can get sometimes when you're about to close and there's still people in your store, but never once did he make us feel like we were unwelcome, and even told us he would stay open as long as it took for everything to go through the way it was supposed to. I love the service we were provided with here, and we will absolutely be coming back to this location, whether for issues or just to upgrade in the future. read more

Don't be fooled by these bogus reviews on Yelp!!! O stars would be a better assessment, but because I have to give them one to write a review, here you go. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever received from any business in my life. The entire team there, from the store manager down to the hourly staff, are incompetent and worthless. I bought a phone here mid December. The 1st incident was them hiding the fact that there is a $20 fee for them helping you connect a new phone. Go to a real Verizon store to avoid this fee. Next, one of the employees (David) ordered a case online through their website. Well, he shipped it to my old address even though I just updated it when I bought my new phone. I spoke to Thomas, David, and the store manager, all of which promised they would take care of it. Guess what, it wasn't handled. The manager asked what happened to the case. I don't know, you shipped it to my old address. 2 weeks later I went in and finally got a refund because these incompetent people could not simply get me a phone case ...of course this was after 10 calls, 3 store visits, several broken promises, and one irate customer (me). Look, if you must remain a Verizon customer, DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. You will get hosed by a team of incompetent, lazy, worthless employees. Go to a real Verizon store. I absolutely love the representatives at this store. I bought anew iPhone 12 from Apple and had major problems with t for months. Kept taking it back in, calling apple support, Calling Verizon, going into this store..Spent over 130 hours total trying to fix the problem. These guys were great. Never made me feel bad, always willing to take the time for repeat visits. Apple finally traded my iPhone 12 to 12 Pro...still same problem. Started the rounds again and I got the Dylan at Verizon San Tan. He said.."I know what the problem is". Did his magic and said take it home, try it out come back Thursday (2 days) and we will see how it works. I came back Thursday with a box of Bundt cakes!!!! Works! Oh my goodness. I can't say enough good things about this store and its awesome crew! My father and I had just left the Verizon corporate store on S. Power Rd completely frustrated and confused after trying to upgrade his 3-year old plan and phone when we were fortunate enough to stumble on this GoWireless store! The corporate store was less than helpful. The corporate employees were very impatient and short with us, refused to take the time to explain anything to my father, who is very analytical, and did everything they could to pressure my dad into a more expensive, high-data plan without explaining how he might benefit from it. After all, he only averages 0.3GB of data per month! Our questions were met with sales pitches and simple "no can do" answers without offering alternatives. Somehow, the first associate we spoke with got on the topic of tablets and data plans, while my father and I were still unclear about what to do with his phone. All in all, there was simply no eagerness of the staff to really assist us as people and it became clear why the corporate store has you "take a number" when you come in. Yet, just one day before our very disappointing experience with the corporate store, I had visited a GoWireless Verizon retail location in Scottsdale when I convinced my sister and her fiance to upgrade their phones while we were out at lunch together. That was the first time I had ever heard of a "GoWireless" Verizon location and, although not a Verizon customer myself, I was impressed with the attention and service they received from the staff there. One of the associates at the Scottsdale store even drove across town to another location while we waited to get the phones we wanted because it was a popular new model and they were out of stock at that location. I found the customer-oriented service refreshing and in stark contrast to what I observed at the Verizon corporate store! So, as my father and I left the corporate location the next day, ready to pull our hair out, "GoWireless" was the first thing that came to my mind. I looked online and was surprised to find a location very close to us on N. Power Rd. I drove my father up there and, to this day, we are very glad we made the trip. It was evening when we arrived and close to closing time, but the staff was very inviting. We were first assisted by Thomas, who was extremely helpful and took the time to not only write out the price breakdown of each plan in a way that my father could understand, but he also researched other plan changes that could actually benefit him based on his specific needs. He even put a popular phone on hold for him, since it was the last one at this location and we would have to come back another day to finish the transaction. When we returned to the store a couple days later, Thomas was there, along with Terry, the store manager, and another associate. All three were actively helping people and answering the phones. It was quite busy, but the staff remained upbeat and cordial with everyone, including us. When it was our turn, Thomas remembered who we were and took the time to go back over all the plan options with my father a second time, which put my father at ease. After that, both Thomas and Terry again looked over the proposed changes in detail before submitting them to make sure they would best fit my dad's particular needs and ensure he was getting the best deal over the long run. In the end, my dad walked out with the new phone he wanted, a 25% savings on his monthly bill (without having to give up any services) and a big smile on his face! I couldn't ask for anything more of a retail store, corporate or not. If I ever switch to Verizon (and my interaction with Thomas, Terry and the rest of the crew have me considering it), I will be sure to stop by this location again. I have been with Verizon for years and been in several other stores as well as dealt with Verizon on line customer service but have never received the service I did here! I went in to add my son back to our family plan wanting to change my cell phone from iPhone 5 to either the new larger screen iPhone or back to the galaxy note. The salesman really took his time walking me through the options of both phones and helped me make the decision easy to move to the new Galaxy note. He also helped me find a great deal on a tablet for my son for Christmas! Finally he looked at my plan and told me I could save money moving to a different package for my data and got me additional gig of data to my plan for less! As I watched his team work with other customers I realized I will not work with the online team anymore I will go into this store for all my needs! They really cared about the customers and were a ton of fun making the time fly by as we waited to complete our transactions! This cell phone store makes shopping for phones or accessories a fun experience. Travis and the rest of the crew are extremely helpful, knowledgeable & friendly. Even when they have multiple customers in the store, Travis some how finds time to help everyone, at the same time. He is patient, actually listens to his customers first, then responds to their needs courteously & professionally. He has personally helped me buy my phone, my wife's phone & now my 20 year old sons phone. He took the time to review our account & showed us how we could change our plan to not only have more service, but do it for less money per month. Couldn't think of any better experience with purchasing phones than I've had at this location everyone at yhis location is always willing to help and jump at the opportunity to help anyone who walks in the store with great deals on tablets you can't beat it. I walked in for a question and ended up walking away with an amazing lg tablet that I got for a killer deal and then they took the time for me to teach me how to use my new tablet and now I use it everyday. The manager (or so he said he was) is a jerk. Extremely condesending. My iphone 6s+ had a problem internally and was unusable. I pay 10 dollar a month for a so called warranty which I have had to use twice to get a working phone. The first time was through apple (new phone) and the second time at a different verizon store in California (great experience). This time I went to this store near my house. Travis basically did everything possible to not help me at all. I finally had enough of his attitude and walked out of this store and went to a different store (power and southern). Problem resolved. My husband and I tried to buy a new Samsung Galaxy S9 today. The one salesperson did greet us and told us to sit until she had finished with her customer. No problem. When it was our turn she said, can I help you as she proceeded to do something on her tablet. I told her what I wanted. She didn't acknowledge us at all but kept her head down. I told her we would wait until she had finished doing whatever she was doing, since I would appreciate her attention. She snapped at me that I was being rude and asked me to leave the store. Truly. My husband and I said no. She said she was going to call her manager. We said terrific, that we would very much like to talk to him/her. The salesperson said that she would not allow us to talk to the manager. We asked why not and she again asked us to leave the store. My husband started to tell her about customer service and she told us to leave, that we made her feel uncomfortable. Two very unthreatening seniors. Old people. But old people who were going to spend hundreds of dollars. Old people who were not "allowed" to talk to the manager, and who were kicked out of the store for no reason. The chip on her shoulder was a mile wide and a mile high. I doubt very much if she will ever hold a customer-facing job for any length of time. read more

If I could give zero stars & still rate it I would. None of the employees at this store know what customer service is! My phone died while on vacation, I went to the nearest Verizon to replace it, that store only had 16 gig iPhones & I needed the 64 gig. The rep there told me I could take the 16 gig so I wouldn't be without on phone during the rest of my trip & then I could exchange it when I got back home. I made the mistake of going to THIS particular store! They also did not stock the 64 gig but ordered it for me, ensuring me that he would call as soon as it arrived. That was a Tuesday, finally Saturday morning I called to inquire if they had it. No answer the 4 times I called. I tracked the order through Fed Ex & discovered it had been delivered at 10:30 a.m. On Thursday morning. I went to the store, there were no customers & 3 employees. I asked if their phone was working & they all lied & said it hadn't rang ALL morning. So I pressed redial & surprise it rang! When I informed them that I knew the phone had arrived 48 hours prior & no one had called me, the excuse was that the rep who sold it to me had been off those two days. No one else was capable of making the call? It continued to go downhill from there. I simply needed the new phone activated & to return the temporary one. This took an HOUR! They had to call Verizon Corporate to try to figure out how to do the return, then their system crashed. From now on I will only deal with the store at Dana Park where they know how to provide customer service. read more
