The evening we arrived to our airbnb, I realized we forgot ALL our shoes back home except the ones on our feet. That included our dress shoes for the big day. Luckily we had one more full day before our elopement and Grand Mountain Trading was the first place I put on my list in hopes of finding shoes. I didn't have a lot of hope as my husband is a size 14 men's and I'm size 12 women's, and most places don't carry our sizes. And I figured there was no way a small mountain town store would have our sizes. I WAS WRONG. We found hiking shoes in both of our sizes. I even found mine on sale in the bargain room. My husband found these perfect black cowboy boots, and I ended up getting some super cute boots to wear on the big day, instead of settling for my oofo flip flops. Now let me talk about Libby. This employee is an angel! We told her our story and before even trying to sell their shoes, she was telling us about other places we could go. She was very nice and helpful. When checking out, I believe it was the owner, she knocked my shoes down from $99.99 to $49.99 and took $10 off each pair of boots as she also heard about our story. We also received tokens for $5 off every $30 spent. We went back the next day after our elopement and got some awesome RMNP shirts.
