She told me she could take an additional $200 off and reduce the delivery fee to $20--but only as a credit after the order was delivered. After the delivery, I went in to follow up, and suddenly the story changed. Andrea told me the only way to get the extra discount was by using a specific Pro Account credit card. She pointed to a brochure with both a PRO account card and a credit card, and said, "This is the card you need--the discount will come next time." At first, I assumed she meant the same PRO account I already had. I started filling out the application, but as someone else rushed me through the form, I realized I was being signed up for a credit card, not a different kind of PRO account. I never agreed to that. Andrea had already walked away by then, and it became clear there was never going to be a credit back on my original order. The deal I was promised on the phone was gone, replaced with "nothing we can do--but here's a credit card you can apply for to maybe save next time." I came in expecting to redeem a promised discount. Instead, I got misleading information, pressure to open a credit card, and no resolution. It's nice to get discounts on good quality stuff. I got cashmere for instance for an awesome price at this location! Charging stations for EV cars located in their parking lot. I feel like their buying prices are not that bad. The pricing for used clothes can be quite steep though. This place is something else. The fact that they took Carhartt, but then didn't take any of my barely used Nordstrom clothing... It is quite laughable to me. I bet they would take Shein clothing and then mark it up more than it is new online. I also do have a tough time finding clothing that I do like here. For not being a thrift store and supposedly a consignment shop you would think they would have more high-end brands. Maybe you'll have better luck than me. But I don't think I can walk in here again and to deal with their staff anymore.
