Stopped by to pick up a pair of boots. I found the ones I was looking for and needed help finding my size took me about 10-15 for someone to help me . when I asked for my size the lady told me they didn't have it , after browsing for a few more minutes I found the boots I wanted in the size I was looking for. Felt confused and felt like they didn't care for my business. Once I paid the guy told me to have a great day . I'm standing there waiting for a box for my boots then he tells me that I have to pay for a box. Greeting my fellow people just dropping in today to voice my review about my visit to boot barn I must say that I encountered assisting manager Lina and I must say she was eighter mad or just one prejudice woman she was very rude and very unprofessional I would think someone in her position would be more kind and inviting to my visit anyway she helped me out but her body language was struggling to help me out after my transaction she didn't even offer me a bag I had to request one and I made it clear to her that its very rude for her not to offer me a bag she was so mad that she gave me wrong size bag the whole moral of the story is if your a paying customer u should be at least treated fairly I always say treat others the way u want to be treated bottom line ..... read more

Very disappointed! My kids bought me a new pair of work boots ($158.00) for my B-day. I put them in the closet until the weather started to turn a little cooler. Today (10-11-18) I tried them on and found them not to fit as I had hoped. So having the day of I went down to exchange them with my receipt and low and behold its past the 30 days. The clerk had an immediate attitude as if I was trying to pull a fast one and told me "NO EXCHANGES AFTER 30 DAYS". Then I tried to argue the fact that they are "brand new and have never worn". They had just sat in my closet until this morning. She then barked back and told me that they been worn. I will try to attached is a picture of these so called used boots. Anyways, from here on out I or my family vow to never buy from that company again. $158.00 down the drain. read more

This is the worst boot barn location ever. Super unorganized. No one is on the same page. Dropped boots off to be stretched. They said 24-48 hours. I waited 72 hours. Called to pick them up and was told no one even put them in a stretcher and could pick up the next day, which isn't even enough time. Mind you this is now 5 days later!! Went and picked them up and they were still in the same position as when I dropped off and still can't get them on. Going to have to take them to someone professional to get it done. Won't be going back to this location unless I absolutely have to! read more

First of all I used to love Boot Barn. Two days prior I spent around $250 on clothing for me and my wife. The staff was friendly and helpful. Yesterday I returned with my daughter to buy her western attire, spending another $350. As we were shopping, not once were we asked if we needed help. I stood near the front of the store and several staff walk past me without asking if I needed help. I saw a woman's Carhartt plaid jacket and asked a staff if there was a similar one made for men. She said yes and just pointed to the extreme end of the store. She was standing near the register not doing much and could have put a little effort in helping a customer. While looking for the jacket, I notice the only male staff helping a gentleman in the boot section for 20-30 minutes. That same staff never asked me or my daughter if we needed help. When did need help, I asked a female staff to get a boot off the top shelf, she just point to the male staff and told him to do it. I saw this female just walking back and forth from the front the back storeroom with empty hands. When we went to pay I told the male staff I completed a survey from two days prior for $5 off my next purchase. He also told me I had point for an additional $15. But when he processes the transaction he did something wrong and failed to give my $5. He called the manager and she basically told me there was nothing they could do because the male staff entered the numbers in the wrong sequence. Seemed like too much trouble the cancel the whole transaction and start over. Before leaving I voiced my dissatisfaction of the service and later made a call to cooperate to hopefully improve customer service and friendliness of the staff. read more

We came to Boot Barn and as we entered the store we were greeted with smiles and welcomes. Immediately we both realized we were in the right place for what we needed. Krista came to help us and provided so much more than just customer service. She took the time to explain the work boots in such great detail it was easy for us to make an informed decision on what we needed. Krista also guided us in other areas of the store and even knew the history behind a pair of boots I was asking about. The rest of the staff were very nice and offered honest opinions when asked. I was in need of a pair of boots yesterday at 3:30 and had no help from anyone. There were two people at the register helping as much as possible with the long line. There was a lady who was clearly working there who spent most of her time upstairs and away from customers who needed it. I am not shopping here again until some kind of adequate training is done to have people like her know the correct time to help customers or be upstairs. I'm pretty sure she was the manager as well... Unacceptable! read more

I like boot barn, this is nothing against them but their service the day my mother-in-law an I went in was awful. We walked in and the two ladies working were sitting down near the boots just talking. As we walked in they decided to just stay where they were and continued talking amongst themselves. We took a look around and were actually looking for something specific. We had to approach them and ask for a pair of thin socks to try on a boot, not listening they brought us a really thick pair, and walked off to stand behind the counter to continue their conversation. Another two girls walked in to which they ignored of course. They wandered looking for a pair of boots. We were finally ready and made our way to the register where we stood... Waiting for their conversation to be over before we were recognized. One lady checked us out as the other looked in a catalog to show her what corral she wanted for her horses. One of the other customers came up and was ignored. When they were finally noticed they asked if they could have a different size of a certain boot to which the lady rolled her eyes, put down the catalog in a huff and went to help. Overall store was clean and organized. They had a great selection. It was a little bigger than the boot barn I normally go to but the service was atrocious. I really like this place. Customer service was really good and they answered all of my questions. I bought some new boots for work and ultimately had to return them because they didn't feel right after trying them on at home...They accepted the return with no problem Wich made me want to come back if I ever need new work boots. Work boot warehouse on Lyons were very strict about no returns policy and that is a huge red flag for me..I will continue shopping here. read more

Tucked in the corner of a small shopping center that I usually frequent because the 97¢ Store is there, I finally decided to see what Boot Barn is all about. As you might expect, a lot of Dickies and overalls. Boots, of course (duh!!), And plenty of country music in the background. Not my style. What I didn't expect? They carry a lot of the Ass-Kickin line of hot sauces and snacks. That's hard to find around here so if you're a hot sauce fan, you can go to Boot Barn and get your Habanero's all saddled up in a row. That's why I'd come back here. Looking for some "western" clothing actually read the reviews on yelp and read that someone (4 months ago) had a customer service problem. .wasn't thinking that the owner/management of this particular store does not read the reviews on their own store and thought it would have been corrected by now. Well, walked in and saw what I thought were customers at the counter so helping me would not be too much longer..I walked around the entire store for 20 min. Not one person asked me if I could be helped. As i made my way to the front of the store, where they have their knick knacks and such turns out the "customers" were friends of the employees. As I walked towards the front door..not even thanks for stopping by...customer service. .NO!!! As well as the linen of clothing is far from western wear. I've been going to Boot Barn for years; big company with a small company feel inside. The staff is genuine and eager to help. I have never had a bad experience here. Complimentary hat reshaping, stretching and cleaning is great. I needed my hat stretched and Kelly in particular was very helpful today. If you have horsey-friends, there lots of trinkets to purchase as gifts. They also carry my favorite brand of jeans, Miss Me. read more

A lot of the reviews on here are about the negative customer service, but I have to say, everyone working here this past Saturday was very friendly and helpful. They had a good selection of riding boots and I quickly found what I needed. When I was paying for my items, the woman who helped me was sure to point out which ones were (and were not) on sale, and asked if I wanted to swap the non-sale items with those that were on sale. I have to say that I used to like to shop at boot barn but now with the prices as high as they have become and standing in line with 18+ people in front of me and two cashiers, I will not return. There are plenty of other places to shop with similar items and shopping online is so convenient that I have no reason to drive 25 minutes one way for this aggravation.
