Came in on Saturday 2/2/2019. Didn't make a purchase, but I wanted to get my correct sizing for when I was ready to buy some Iron Ranger boots. Daniel helped me out with that, and he was incredibly friendly and informative. I thought they would just use the old school Brannock device, but they actually have something much higher-tech! You stand on some pressure-sensitive mats which relay the shape of your feet to a computer monitor. From there, they determine what size you need. You don't want to just assume your size with Red Wing boots! I've been looking to grab a pair of these for a while and from a bunch of online reading I've done, your size could be a half size to a size-and-a-half smaller than your normal athletic shoe size. For example, I'm usually a 12 or 12.5 on Adidas, but for Iron Rangers, I'd be an 11. So don't be afraid to come in just for sizing help, they do not pressure you to buy in the slightest. Stopped in 12/27 around 1700hrs for a work shoe. Daniel was extremely helpful. He took the time to ask what kind of work I needed them for, listen to my concerns, have me try different options out, and suggest a great fit. Daniel had me stand on a machine that takes a heat type picture of your feet. The picture is displayed on a monitor on the wall so he can better explain what I needed. I ended up getting a great boot with inserts that support my high arch. The boots can be a bit pricey, but they seem to be made well, come with warranties, and even a cleaning maintenance service. I highly recommend everyone to at least check them out. Make sure and talk to Daniel for the best service. read more

Read the fine print regarding the shoe warranty. I went in to see if I can get the shoe resoled, but was told the warranty wouldnt apply due to excessive use. I was not aware that excessive use would void the warranty at the time of the sale. I was lead to believe that they would be repaired if within the one year warranty, I had only used them 9 months. At about 7 months the stitching started to come undone in a section on both boots. They were a comfortable boot, but I will not be back for a replacemwnt pair. I think if your sales pitch is to push the warranty, let the person also know what can void it. read more

I cannot be considered a regular shopper at this Red Wing Shoes Store because all I bought from them over the past 10 years was a pair of boots and a pair of belts! I wear the boots when I go to the shooting range to practice target shooting. I have always brought back the shoes to them and they have always done an outstanding job in cleaning and polishing them. I have been wearing the belts for over 9 years. Since I have lost weight over the years, I had to bring in the belts on two occasions, to drill two new holes in each belt, to fit my waist. On every occasion I have been to the store, I received prompt and courteous service. The quality of the cleaning and polishing the boots was outstanding and at a very reasonable price. I have purchased 4 pairs of work shoes here over the last couple of years. They have treated me very well and the shoes have lasted longer than any other I have owned. I am on my feet 9 hours a day and most work shoes break down after about 3 months. My newest pair of red wings are about 6 months old and they still look and feel like the day I bought them. They made sure the fit was right and told me I could come back if I needed anything including laces or even new soles. This store went over and beyond my expectations!!! The customer service is fantastic and I can't thank them enough. They had issues with the soles being replace for hunting not for work. So they called me and let me know my shoes will be covered since it was the company's mistake it just took at total of 6 weeks. When the shoes came back they had blue stuff around the shoes that wasn't there before. So I left them for a day to get them cleaned. Been goin there for years. Recently had my boots resoled and was disappointed that it took a month to get them back. When I asked Daniel about the delay he said the off site resoling guys machine had broke down. I was completely satisfied with that explanation, clearly not the stores fault. When grabbed for my wallet Daniel said he had taken care of it because of the delay. This was a $100 plus resole job and I wasn't expecting that. That's called taking care of your customers.
