March 14th and 15th, 2023 Came in to pick up an online order; the Bullhide cowboy hat is too cute BUT... It's too big. I measured my head to be (HUGE!! LOL) and it's 24 in (7 5/8) but trying on several hats in the store... NONE of them (for spring) were worthy. Hanna helped me with putting some strips of sponge like stuff in the brim. She was soo nice and efficient. She's definitely a team player with a friendly positive attitude. So, I left with the hat. March 15th, 2023 The cowgirl hat was just too big; even with the adders to get brim, so I returned it. Looked around, Hanna saw and remembered me from yesterday and immediately started helping me; she's such a hoot! Sadly, they had nothing that sparked my interest so, I went down the road to Cavenders (shh?) They REALLY had nothing. I've been shopping at the store for many years now. I went in today and I was completely ignored. There was not a single customer in the store but me. I had to go get someone to let me into dressing room. Then I walked to the counter to check out. The lady running the register was standing less than 10 feet from me - eating ice out of her little pink cup I stood there at the counter, waiting to check out for about four- five minutes while she just stared off, ignoring me. We are so close that I could almost reach out and touch her. I turned around slowly and laid all of my items on top of a display case. She doesn't say one word. I walk out of the door and she keeps eating ice. This crew has to be purposely sabotaging, but still. I cannot imagine anyone being that incompetent without it being on purpose. I will not beg to get checked out the store. read more

The service there was so amazing, there was a guy and a lady who helped my family with what boots would work and not knowing anything about boots this really helped. There was very big selections of styles and sizes with woman's shoes and men's. The prices were fare for boots I kinda expected them to be an investment but they will last forever if you take good care of them. The prices were between 120- 4/500 read more

I purchased a scarf and a couple scarfs with ties recently. I took one of the metals ties back as the rhinestone had come off... there's was the same scarf tie sets 10 feet from the manager and she refused to e change it It was obvious it was new and hardly used. Any other boot barn would of exchanged it but this heifer did not have and common courtesy to a long time customer. The exact same scarf and tie was seriously feet away and she could of just exchanged the cheap tie... In the end a cashier came up with a rhinestone she found to replace the missing one So I glued it on.. Cavenders down the road a bit is way more helpful to their customers read more

I came into Boot Barn looking for a boot Jack. If you don't know, a boot Jack is a seemingly magical tool that removes boots from your feet with ease. I love tools that serve their purpose well. I like the smell walking up to Boot Barn. Before I even opened the door to walk in, I could smell leather from a few feet outside. I also appreciate the selection of boots this place has. Alot more styles and colors then the options I've seen at other boots stores in the area. The staff was polite, and asked if we needed help. Was enjoyable to just walk around inside this store and just see the vast selection they have. Other then Western men's and women's boots; they also sell work boots, flame retardant clothing, and anything one could need involving Western and or work wear. read more

I love the way Boot Barn smells. I love the powerful leather smell that knocks you over when you walk into the store. They sell various brands of boots ranging from low end to high end. I really like Dan Post boots and find them to be more comfortable than other popular brands. They also have a wide range of denim jeans. I like Ariat jeans as they seem to fit my body better than most. They are middle of the road on cost too which is nice. PROS: Various brands and a wide range of selections on denim, boots, western wear and some camo. Price ranges vary as much as their selection. CONS: Two registers. Checking out can be slow. Returns for credit must be done with the SAME credit card purchase was made. My wife and I use debit cards linked to our checking account but the last 4-digits are different. I went into this store with my family and groomsman all prepared to spend money on quality hats, a couple of them still needed boots as well. No one came to assist us and my mother hAd to find someone, the lady was rude right off the bat and we all felt like maybe she thought we couldn't afford the hats we were looking at, she spoke in a condescending tone. Came in to pick up boots I had seen online, which looked nothing like the pictures. Color was several shades lighter and leather was thin. The online price was $370, and when I got there a sales associate tried to tell me that they were $590. I told her about the price listed online and they even pulled up the website, but she continued to argue with me and say that "it was the online price, not the in store price." I understand that there's often sales online, but a $220 difference between online and in store? Finally, another associate comes to help and scans the boots, which sure enough are priced at $390. The woman that was so difficult did not even apologize or admit her fault, just shrugged. Will not be returning to this location. read more

I ordered boots 5 days ago online for Christmas during huge cyber sale. Only to find out 3 days before my package is suppose to arrive that it was cancelled because the item was discontinued. Boot barn said sorry we can off Lee you a 15% discount instead of the ~30% discount that was offered on the sale day. And when I asked when my refund would be credited to my card the lady hung up on me. They just lost a customer for life. read more

My son bought a pair of boot from Dickerson boot barn that were too small. Paid over $200. Saw a sign on the counter that said no returns on worn boots because he had worn them that day for a few hours. Well I ( his mom ) call and spoke with Marie the manager and it was no problem even without a receipt or box. I went in the next day and sondra ( not the correct spelling ) help me and in just a few minutes I had the right pair and even a different style. Love me some boot barn in Dickinson. Thanks girls. The staff there is awesome they are friendly and they treat you with much respect rather you come in there dressed up or dressed down we always look for Miss Dayla for help. She is always eager and very polite the ASM Saundra is great too.... as long as the Boot Barn is there we will continue to shop there we will not step foot into Cavenders ever again read more

I purchased a $600.00 pair of boots and noticed a black spot the 2nd day on the top of the left boot. I took it into the store and they recommended that I go see Jessie's Boot repair in Houston. I travel to Houston to have Jessie (a very nice gentlemen) look at the boot. He tells me there is something between the leather and the skin and he cannot clean it. I call the store manager back and she tells me that's she's sorry she cannot exchange or replace the boot. The same manager that directs me to a professional and then when the professional says its a defect, she changes her story and says I'm liable once the boot leaves the store. WOW........I would not recommend this store, its manager or its service to anyone. Save your time and money and go to Cavender's. I will be writing the regional manager, Dan Post the boot manufacturer an filing a complaint with the Bester Business Bureau. read more
