I'm from Arizona I spend a lot of time and money at Boot Barn. I've never once had an experience like this A women named Renee I believe is the manager was walking up to me and my party every 2 minutes telling us we couldn't touch certain things couldn't hold items etc. She then walked to the cash register area and stood there and just watched/ stared at us the entire time of shopping. Horrible environment i would never spend money here and to feel like that. Even after all of this i still spent 300+ dollars at this store and to be treated like this was outrageous keep in mind i'm in a full cinch outfit with a 200$ buckle on i highly recommend spending your money at another location. read more

Wasted an hour of drive time to get here and try to buy a product that we confirmed over the phone was correct. When arriving, the product they had set aside was the women's version. The men's version was not in stock. I wasn't going to leave a review (as I never leave reviews) until the same situation happened today at the Thornton location - confirmed the product was correct over the phone, to have a different product set aside (completely wrong type). Employees at both locations are friendly but lacking attention to detail. Very frustrating and would love to have 2 hours of my life back. This place is HUGE! It's AMAZING! So many boots! So many options! The establishment was well stocked. They also have a clearance section of boots and shirts when you're on a budget. (Like me!) The staff are overtly helpful. But they have your interest at heart. I'm glad I took their recommendation of the boot conditioner. My boots really did need it and the cleaner did not change the color of my boots. read more

This location has a lot of options and everything seems to be very high-quality. There is a overwhelming smell of leather though lol The staff is very friendly and informative, we were approached a couple of times to see if we needed assistance. We came in looking for some steel-toed boots for Kevin which he found pretty quickly but I however, easily became enthralled with the women's clothing section! I found soooo many beautiful dresses and kimonos and don't even get me started on the accessories and the sales rack! I Really liked some of the turquoise necklaces and bracelets that I was seeing to pair well with the fashion! I ended up purchasing a beautiful black dress with cow skulls and roses that reminded me of New Mexico and I was sold.... $45.00 later! I'm not gonna lie, the prices made me super cringy! Very pricey we are talking $45.00-$98.00 for their dresses but if you want something special this is where you want to spend the money! Kevin's boots were $150.00 so..... I'll let you do the math on the total of 2 items!!!!!!! My husband and I went to the Northglenn location of the Boot Barn for his steel-toed work boots. The manager helped him with finding great boots for his type of work. He actually asked questions to determine the final choice and took the time to help during our entire visit. NEVER shop at Boot Barn. I'd give it zero stars, but this program makes me give it at least 1 star. Facts- I went to buy a specific brand of purse that their website said they carried. I get there and they do not keep any in the store. They pointed me to their in-house computer to get on their website and order/pay for the purse I wanted. Their computer said this purse was around $360. I came on that day because they were having 25% off. I ordered online in the store on their computer and paid. Less the 25%, it came down to about $273 (and some change). I get the purse shipped to me. It came and there was a price tag on the purse of $248. I got on the manufacturer's website. They had MSRP at $248. What?? I drove back to the store with my box/purse. I told them the above. The shift/floor Supervisor/Manager came to the front counter, called their by the cash register clerk. The Supervisor told me that Boot Barn can charge what they want and may sometimes go over MSRP. I then said, 'but the price tag from Boot Barn is $248 on the purse'. She then told me that was their mistake that they should have repriced it before sending to me. What?? I then said 'so you were knowingly charging more than $95 dollars from MSRP?'. I could not get any admittance from the store that they were pulling the wool over my/customer's eyes. Did not even offer to make it right. I just returned the purse and will buy it from somewhere honest. Took my son to this store today for badly needed work boots. Found the perfect pair and walked up to the cash register to check out. My son had a voucher from his work for $30 towards the boots. He works for a large, prominent electrical company who provides these vouchers yearly to their apprentice electricians. My son has used these vouchers previously without any problem. The voucher had an authorization code from the company on it but was not signed or dated. The clerk asked for an ID, filled out my son's information and dated the voucher. She asked for a work ID, which my son did not have. After 10 minutes she finally called the manager SHERI over who took a look at the voucher. SHERI was very abrupt and hateful immediately and then insisted she would need to call his work to verify the voucher was not stolen and to make sure my son actually worked there. It's nearly 4 o'clock on a Friday afternoon. I have $250 cash in hand to pay for the boots, my son offers to show them his pay stub from his company, and we are getting the runaround over a $30 voucher with an authorization code???? Be careful Boot Barn!! Brick and mortar stores are on the way out. You might want to train your clerks and rude SHERI managers to work with the customer rather than calling them thieves. Your store's future depends on it. We will never buy anything again at Boot Barn. We will drive up to Murdoch's where they treat their customers like kings and are cheerful and happy. read more

I shop here frequently and I always spend money and buy boots for work or pleasure. I was there a few weeks ago and had amazing service for my boots and having a lot of the reps joyful and asking if I need help. Yesterday, completely different story. I went in ready to spend money on multiple boots and clothes and was ready to drop money. I asked a rep to start a room for me and she was rude and confused why I would even ask this while my hands are over filling and I'm not done shopping yet by any means I was just getting started. She was the first person I experienced yesterday and I was like maybe she is new or having a bad day. While I was trying on boots if someone came up to us to ask us if we need anything was extremely rude about it and you are just wondering what is even going on at this point as I am minding my own business having a great time shopping and the workers are over here being rude and passive aggressive and doing the bare minimum acting like they hate their lives working here ruining my shopping experience with their bad attitudes. Finally got to checking out because the store was closing the line wasn't even that long and it took them 30-45 minutes to ring up the line with two cashiers moving slow after they were trying to rush everyone to the checking line. Our cashier was rude and unpleasant and did her job at least by asking if anyone helped me today in a joyless manner and of course I found it funny like no. Everyone I encounter today was extremely rude and unhelpful by all means. Overall spent two hours there racking up a tab and my tab would have been higher if the workers were pleasant and helpful. Considering returning everything and shopping elsewhere because the experience was so bad for the price of the clothes. I was there for 2 hours and encounter 7 employees with all attitudes. Went in Boot Barn to do a little shopping as for a military discount after using rewards and the cashier Sylvia was super rude and said you can't have the military discount if you use your rewards so knowing I would save a lot more with military discount I asked just to use that. She said you would have to have the whole transaction cancelled in order to do that, so I said ok well that's a better savings and the rewards are from spending money so it shouldn't matter if you use both...she got a big attitude having to have the manager come over to void the transaction. I went back into the store and bought a small item so I didn't lose my rewards and her and her colleagues were standing around talking about the situation...very professional, I would say not! read more

Went in there with my mom and brother who is a US Marine veteran. One of the older lady's who works cash registers was extremely rude on multiple occasions with my brother who was about to purchase boots after how bad he was treated he put the boots down and said he will never shop in this store again on 104th. As cute as the clothes are, I am NEVER Coming here again. Terrible experience. I never write bad reviews, this is my first one because this company is so SO badly ran. I want to make clear it was none of the associates that helped me out. Shout out to Emily, she was helpful. However, if you shop online with this company they charge you the whole amount and put it on "hold" and then ship each item individually and charge you again for each single item. None of this is explained to you so I was confused at why I was getting double charged. It was an absolute nightmare trying to get a hold of somebody of customer service side. When I finally did talk to somebody she was pretty rude, which whatever, we've all been there. However, she couldn't explain to me why I was getting double charged. SO, I called the store. I got transferred 4 times to different managers (they were all really sweet) I got hung up (probably by accident) 3 times. At this point I was so frustrated because I had been at this for hours. The people at the store couldn't tell me anything and look, I worked In costumer service for 15 years so I get it. I truly think this is corporates fault for my unbelievably crappy experience. I finally get transferred to somebody who explained the billing to me and she was nice but it shouldn't take hours to get a hold of somebody about billing, you're retail, not the unemployment office. So I finally get only half of my order. One dress had a huge hole in it. I'm aware I may come off as a Karen but there wasn't just one wrong thing with my experience with this company, it was MANY things. It's so unfortunate because the stuff is pretty cute but NOT WORTH IT. I'm down to spend money on good quality stuff. This dress was over 50$ and has a hole in it before even being worn? Not promising. This experience was bad enough that I won't be shopping here again. And for some reason, my review keeps disappearing, sketchy. I purchased a white dress a few weeks ago and when I got home I realized there were a few stains on the back. I was shopping with my two small kids, therefore Im sure you can understand I didnt see the stains at the time of purchase. I did not wear it or removed the tags. I brought it back and they refused to return or let me exchange it. The assistant manager, Armando, was incredibly rude and accused me of lying that it was never worn. Im sure many people come in and abuse the return policy, however I am not one of them. I simply wanted to exchange it for a different dress or get my money back. Recently needed a box for a western hat that is going to be a birthday gift for my brother-in-law who is going to be 80 years old; called the store and the manager said come on down, I'm sure we can find something that will work. I showed up and he already had a hat box for me; I asked how much I owed him, and he said, "no charge, glad we could help." Not often that we find that type of service. Not only are employees very unfriendly and degrading (except two that I personally know and appreciate), but the managers are even worse. I purchased several items and the manager thought I had under-paid for two of the items. I patiently spent 30 minutes explaining to the manager that the sale items (correctly marked as such) were paid for in full. She then attempted to correct me, even brought me behind the counter, to "correct" the price and to prove to me that I under-paid. I did the simple addition (since she tried charging me $40+/- more than the $40 I had already paid) and even went over it with her three times so she understood. Since, this manager has moved to the 144th location and when I had gone to that store, my experience was just as poor and took more than enough time for a return of one of the items I purchased previously that didn't even fit my hand in the sleeve. I would never recommend Boot Barn to anyone, and instead, Murdoch's. At least when I go there, I get friendly and helpful service every single time. On another note, I had applied at Boot Barn, was only offered $9.00 per hour, and was told that even if I go to church on Sunday and work a full-time job, I would still be required to work Sunday afternoons to provide a more flexible schedule for everyone else who works there... To add to that, during my interview, the Cindy lady who interviewed me was RUDELY interrupted by the GM - Jerry - who thought that he could more properly answer a question that I had asked. I will NEVER recommend that anyone work here. They can't even hire decent management, much less decent employees. I think it's time for a change, Boot Barn. P.S. - The selection of boots at this location is less than par for the course for a store with large square-footage and plenty of room for more stock on-hand. Yesterday, I went to This Boot Barn to find and hopefully buy a pair of what else but boots. It seemed like the place to go after all it is the places name sake. I experienced three things there that had me thinking to go to another place. First thing I noticed is that there were boots scattered all over the place and no signage really helping you to find where you need to look. By scattered I mean style and type could be found here, there and everywhere but one place. The only distinction there seemed to be was clearly one place was working boots and the other dress casual. It looked organized until you tried to find anything specific. Next I noticed that several of the shelves there did not have enough vertical space and the boots that were stacked with a shelve above were crushed and the tops of the boots were bent and contorted. Last straw for me was that after a young lady (hispanic) asked me if I needed help, and boy did I with such a confusing mess, she left me after a minute when another (hispanic) customer picked her off helping me right while she was in the middle of helping me to find what I want. Clearly this customer was rude by doing this but the young lady should have told him to wait and that she would get back to him. She abandoned me to a mess not just for a second but an easy 5 to 10 minutes before she found me again. By that time I had already called up a place in Brighton that I knew would do me right. I can see by this place only scoring two stars that I am not alone in my sentiments. read more
