Cody James boots I bought these boots on January 20, 2021 paid & 189.00 with tax total of $ 207.04 I had them sitting for a while , till I was ready , to get rid of my old boots ( Ariat ) . I believe I made a big mistake picking the Cody James boots ! These boots are incredibly uncomfortable. It's almost like the sole is mis-shaped? Toe box a bit too tight (narrow) on both feet . Which I have been getting cramps on my toes . Not only that , my big toes have been getting callouses . On Sept 1, 2022 , taking off my boots , I noticed the ball of my left foot, severely bruised very rough from the pain and abuse it's received due to this manufacturer mistake , I've purchased boots before and never had this problem by this uncomfortable boots . I have tried a number of things , replaced the soles . These boots pinched my toes , for some reason the toe box isn't wide enough!!! Also put a couple of plastic ties on the shaft of the boot , to keep my feet from sliding forward . I even dyed them black . I believe that I may have possibly gotten a defective pair . I took them back to the Boot Barn 3390 Floral Ave , Selma , CA 93662, but the manager refused to to anything I seemed to have found out the hard way that , tight shoes constrict your feet, causing pressure and friction that can lead them to develop calluses !!! I went in for boots, wranglers and a shirt. Very very helpful. Customers are mixing boots up, leaving shirts stacked in fitting rooms. Not good,, but the cheery staff was running around and very busy. At checkout, great gal offered a credit card, saved $100 dollars and found my previous credits. And on top of it she/they had many people to attend to. Selma Bootbarn is my go to place. Btw someone said they couldn't find their boots? There are too many choices, lots of styles. Worst customer service......not friendly, not welcoming and not busy at all....I have given this location a second , third and fourth chance to take my money and each time I leave the store disappointed and angry at myself for even attempting to spend my $$$$.... Love love this place!! This is Cowboy Heaven! They have pretty much everything u need for western wear with good prices. Everything was well and neatly stocked and was very clean store. Customer service was great and very helpful. Didnt have to look for the help they came up to assist without hesitation and went above and beyond to find boot and sizes we needed. I will definately be back. I recommend to anyone looking for westernwear for adults and children. They also have home decor that I love! The only reason I'm giving it more than 1 star is because this store is super organized and spotless all the time...which makes it more convenient to shop here. I spend over $200 every time I go to boot barn and am pleased with the quality of the boots and clothing. BUTTTTT.... the staff here at the Selma location are so rude and inattentive. Even if you are minding your own business you will still get attitude and resting b***h faces during checkout...and don't even get me started with trying to get a fitting room... the staff immediately start rolling their eyes if you need the slightest help. But again I'm a huge boot barn product supporter.... the staff just need customer service training!!! read more

Selma Ca. Boot Barn was not a good experience with an online order I was to receive there and then I finally felt good to give myself the boots I been wanting... do to find out that my order was not there and they had no idea want happened or where it's at... ( the reason I went was because I did get the email confirmation that it had been delivered and ready for pick up ) I drove there to find out it wasn't there . Sadly it took me 3 emails to ask about my order .. on my third email I get a call if I want to pick up or get a refund ... she wasn't nice about it... on my second email I asked if when found if it could be delivered to my home for the inconvenience of my first time going I figured they would gladly honor ... wrong ... I really feel disappointed that I as a first time shopper excited about my purchase at Bootbarn online would've been an amazing experience.. Selma Bootbarn employees are not well trained or caring . I stopped at the Selma, Ca. Boot Barn this afternoon. The place was very clean, and seemed to be very organized. The problem I had with the place is that none of the employees offered any help. I walked around for about 20 minutes. Trying to find several pairs of boots.I had planned to purchase two pair of boots, and I was thinking about buying a third pair. There appeared to be several employees working, but I never saw any of them actually helping anyone. This was the first time I've ever gone into a Boot Barn. I'm not sure I'll ever go into another one. I know for sure I won't go back to the Selma store. This should not make any difference but just so managers or employees should know I'm a white guy, was fairly well dressed and groomed.I gave it a one star rating, because the store was very clean. read more

After having bad experiences at other boot barns and not going to a boot barn for about 5 years I decided to try this one. They didn't have the boots I was looking for in store that I had seen online. I still decided to browse around and see if there was something else that I liked. They didn't have the my size in the boots I found so I walked out without buying anything. MARISSA- was the employee that rung us out today. Vanessa and Yesenia were great with helping us out today. BUT Marissa on the other hand was quite UPSET because we said someone was talking about getting our two pairs of boots cleaned and conditioned, she said they don't do that and tried to charge us for a conditioner, we explained that our previous boots were cleaned and conditioned for free, yet she said they don't do that. We really didn't mind but then we had got two shirts we thought were (BUY ONE GET ONE FREE) because they were on the same rack, turns out they weren't and too add to that,they only had ONE boot they could not find the pair for a kids 2.5 , they said they did not have it , BUT one of the pairs was there ?? Disorganized much. Anyways we commented to her saying "its a bit disorganized" and she said in a very aggressive tone, "IT IS ACTUALLY PRETTY ORGANIZED." Thats when we decided we were not coming back here. Worst experience ever and we actually love shopping at boot barn, but will not be coming back to this one. read more
