There were some cute sneakers on clearance but not in my size. I really only come here when I know one of us needs sneakers- because you always need to take advantage of the big one and 2nd one 50% off. I found a pair of back comfy slippers on sneakers and my daughter found a pair of white nike sneakers so we made it work. There certainly was enough hep around which was good. My son tried to find a pair of sneakers but he didn't like anything.

Staff are very friendly and make sure you know of any additional promotions that save you more money. However, more recently I've become a big Puma fan which they do carry but are little lackluster on sizes available. I however got lucky today & each pair I wanted had 1 of my size left. Rack Room could use some more size availability as well as overall styles in general, see a lot of the same shoes on the shelves for years. In the end if you need a new pair of shoes or 2 Rack Room is your Best Buy.

I am wearing orthotics for the first time and try to pair that did not work. Cashier became a shoe fitter overnight & does not know enough about her stock & how to find the right shoes. I was sold on a pair that is too long and too wide, and told that as long as the laces kept them on my feet, it was fine. Then I started feeling pain around the laces. I tried to take them back once and was convinced to keep them; they eventually showed dirt and we're refused for exchange or refund. I went to Ragged Mountain and got much better service and shoes that fit: an item that is probably in stock at Shoe Fly. I will have to try to sell these shoes that I was "sold on" via eBay.

She made sure every pair of shoes we tried on would be a perfect fit and would stay that way once the shoe was broken in. We were buying Birkenstock's and when she learned it was my first pair ever she made sure I knew that I should only wear them a couple hours a day for a week. They also give you 20% off a second pair and a percentage of your sale back in the form of a gift certificate to use on your next purchase. This is a great incentive to make a future purchase but the real reason we will be back is because of the attention and truly personalized feel of the experience with our associate. Everyone was friendly and attentive but not overbearing. They didn't make us feel like we needed to make a decision and get out. I recommend everyone visit their store.

The items were well merchandised, so you could actually shop and see everything. So many places just dump as much as possible into a space and it becomes overwhelming.
