I really don't know what to rate this company my gut says 2 star. The owner was nice but they failed to deliver quality service. They attempted to get payment for a job they did not complete. Had I not looked I would have paid for an incomplete job. My roof doesn't look properly coated that was t fixed. They did not clean after themselves. Damaged the deck rail. The receptionist or customer service woman Carla was rude. They had to come out 4 different times to include taking pictures prior to payment. A two day job turned into a week and a half. Quality, timeless, and customer service, they missed the mark on all of them. read more

I recently bought a townhouse at the end of May and during a recent HOA inspection, I found out that there was rotting wood on the dormers (fake windows) up on my roof. The roof itself had been replaced by the previous owner less than a month before my closing but I was unable to get in touch with that particular roofing company to find out why this project hadn't been taken care of initially. I found Booth Brothers after searching online and received a phone call from Chris the day after I left a message on their voicemail. He came to give me an estimate (he was my third and I ended up canceling the fourth) last Saturday and I was beyond impressed at how thorough he was with inspecting everything. His estimate was thousands less than I had been given by two prior companies. I received the final scope of work and estimate on Tuesday and by Thursday the work was started and finished on Friday. He found out that additional work he wanted his crew to complete wasn't taken care of (he noticed that the paint on the block of wood that has my house numbers on it was chipped away and the numbers themselves were dirty and he wanted them to fix it) and he is sending his crew back over on Monday even though I already paid him. He quickly responded to text messages and I will definitely be using his company again next spring/summer to fix my lower patio on the back of my house. An unexpected and overwhelming project ended up turning into an absolutely great experience and I couldn't be happier!!! read more

I had a leak around my bay window that I was originating in my roof. Chris from Booth Brothers came out to my house on time to drop some serious roof knowledge. Turns out I had resolved the issue through re-caulking windows and flashing and didn't need anything done. Chris explained some of the trouble areas with my roof and what was causing them. There was no high pressure to make a deal, just education. He really knows his stuff and would recommend you to give them a shot. read more

Had 2 flat roofs removed on my 2 dundalk row homes and they replaced all plywood and did a hot rubber roll down layer. Had hopes that the job would had looked better in quality in case I sell the homes. Too many pieces all pieced together like a puzzle with pieces and patches everywhere. This review is long overdue. We had a leaking roof on new construction. Attempting to resolve it with the builder was a nightmare, to say the least. I found Booth Brothers on Yelp. They came out on a Saturday and were able to repair our roof Monday as rain was expected the rest of that week. Their price was half that of another estimate I had gotten and it came with a 20-year guarantee. And they swing by just to inspect the roof every two years. As if all of that wasn't good enough, they threw in SO many extras that I honestly feel they undercharged me! They hauled away -a lot- of garbage I was cleaning out from my basement, they patched and painted my bedroom ceiling and wall where we had previously had a leak, patched and painted stucco on the outside of our house, caulked tile, and replaced air filters. I may even be forgetting some of the extras. All with a willingness to help us out that I'm still so grateful for. We will definitely be using them again and I highly recommend them. read more

The Booth Bothers Construction Company recently replaced the gutters, installed a GAF rubber roof, and demo'ed a rotted fence in the backyard of my house in Baltimore City. From the beginning to the end, it was great working with this company and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone interested in doing a construction/roofing project. I took a number of bids for the project, and the Booth Brothers were by far the most efficient at bidding the work, and they offered an absolutely reasonable and affordable total price for all the work that needed to be done. Chris, one of the brothers, came out the day after I initially made contact with the company and put together a bid for the overall scope of work- he gave me an estimate the same day, and an itemized contract that listed the scope of all the work was in my email box the next morning. Hands down, more timely and efficient in providing an estimate for my review than any other company that I sought a bid from- many thanks Chris!! Josh, the other brother, took over after I decided to go with the B.B. He scheduled the work to be done, and was the point of contact with any questions/concerns that I had from that point on. All I can say is that he was excellent about responding to any question that I had- by email and by phone. And I appreciate very much the work of the crew, who were professional in all interactions that I had with them. Gary was the foreman and he and his crew worked VERY hard and did a great job with all of the work. Bernard finished the gutters on the back of the house, and again did a great job (going above and beyond by touching up the rusted paint on my porch railing). And lastly Chris and Josh ensured that everything was completed to the terms of the contract- ensuring that the drain on my front porch was enlarged to prevent water from pooling on the roof. I would like to thank all of you for delivering an excellent end-product!! I couldn't be happier with the work AND with the overall experience of working with the Booth Brothers. From start to finish, they were open in their communication, honest, efficient, professional- it was truly a pleasure!! Completely dishonest. Following a summer storm, our just a few-years-old roof sprung a leak, so I gave Booth Brothers a call for an estimate. One of the owners came by to inspect the roof the next day. Upon a quick rooftop inspection, he told me I had various issues with the pipes and ridge area, as well as terribly assembled shingles across the entire roof (all stemming from the initial construction in his view). He stated there was no way to know the scope of the roof issues unless he were to start pulling up shingles. He quoted me $1500 to repair the pipe issues and ridge vent but strongly pushed me to replace the entire (just a FEW YEARS OLD) roof, quoting me a price of several thousand dollars. He showed me a few rusty nails that he (supposedly) found on top of the roof or in the gutter, which he claimed are a sign of faulty initial construction. He also claimed to have pictures of the alleged construction flaws but never sent these along for my own viewing. Upon getting a second opinion, I hired a far more trustworthy contractor to repair the roof for less than $500. The trustworthy contractor provided a detailed analysis and photos of the entire roof, including both drone and rooftop inspection. (The only real issue was one pipe seal.) My contractor who ultimately performed the repair described Booth Brothers' recommendations as "total b***sh*t." Watch out for these guys and definitely get a second opinion. read more

Booth Brothers Construction replaced shingles and decking, flashing around pipes and vents, ridge duct, repair work to part of a flat roof. Do yourself a huge favor and hire these guys. Great work, great price, and just incredible to work with from start to finish. I'm renovating a three story townhouse in Upper Fells point and I had several roof contractors come out to the property to give me an estimate on the repair work, and got a wide range of prices - with some jacking up the price thinking I wouldn't know any better (more than 3 times what other contractors had quoted me). Chris was very nice to work with, he gave me a great explanation of what he thought was needed for the repair, walked me through what he saw, and quoted me a competitive price. A couple days later I called them up to confirm to have the work done. I was out of town when I got a call from Chris that he and his team could do the work the next day. I had hoped to be there for the project, but agreed they could proceed. Chris kept me in the loop via calls and texts, and sent a couple pictures of the work as it progressed. Turned out all the roof decking needed to be replaced, not just re-shingled, which increased the price but Chris explained the additional work and pricing clearly. When I returned and saw the work I noticed one thing that they had missed, and when I texted Chris to let him know his immediate answer was, "we'll come out and fix that today." He didn't try to tell me they weren't gonna do it, add on an additional charge for the return visit, or anything like that. This speaks volumes about how they handle their work and how they run their business. As they were finishing up with the last bit of the project Josh Booth also came out and we all had a good chat while the crew finished up the work. I'm happy with the work they did and they will be the only roofing company in the area that I call. I 100% recommend them. read more

Just recently found Booth Brothers and so far, could not be happier! Chris and Estell have both been super responsive and friendly and the quality of work and professionalism is great. I've already asked them to do another job! They work quickly and efficiently and don't mess around. They are not the cheapest estimate you'll get, and you absolutely get what you pay for. There are way too many other companies going around submitting low bids and then cutting corners, or worse. Then you always have to go back after them and fix all of their mistakes. Needless to say, Booth Brothers are exceptional and should be chosen over the guys who give you the cheapest estimate every time. read more

Booth Brothers is terrific! Our ceiling had leaked for years (at both the front and back of our house) and we have had it repaired several times in the past, only for it to leak again a few years later in the same spots. I called several different contractors to come look at the job and give us estimates, but only a few actually responded. Chris Booth from Booth Brothers came out the next day and gave us the most reasonable estimate. They began the work quickly as bad weather was predicted and Chris wanted to get the roof repaired before we had additional damage to our house. We have a flat roof over our family room on the back of our house and the roof of our family room was actually a deck with a balcony off of our 2nd floor bedroom. But we could not use the deck as we were afraid of falling through the floor. The job started according to our schedule and they worked continuously until the job was complete to everyone's satisfaction. My roof no longer leaks, my house looks beautiful, and I am so, so happy with the deck/roof they installed. I can actually enjoy my deck now without worrying that I'm going to fall through!
