We stopped here in the way to St Augustine for the Jon Pardi concert. This place was a little small with a large bar area but it did have a nice patio to sit as well. Service was quick and efficient. The food came out so quick we were all a little shocked. I got the brisket grilled cheese. The waitress did warn me about the bbq sauce that comes with it as it's got a kick. She was right. My mouth was on fire for a short bit. And the amount of brisket was great and the pickled onions even better. Possible could have used a little more cheese though, not much of a cheese pull. Good place for some late night wings and beer. Late night menu is more limited (according to local friend) to mostly pizza and wings. All we needed were wings though, and it was good! We had the boom boom sauce and the hot Nashville dry rub - definitely get the hot Nashville! Boom boom was ok, but kinda mayonaisy. They don't come with carrots and celery by default. We asked if it came with, and they said sure, and then charged us for celery. No carrots. But, they were very fresh. Server was nice, but a little pushy. There's a fine line between being pushy and helpful, and I felt more like the latter, though i would say it was more like 60-40 than 100 blown out pushy. Just came here for the first time! It was sooooooo good. The service was unbelievable, the food was so good & the drinks were as well. It wasn't a busy when we went to it was nice to have it quiet. My favorite thing was my appetizer, it's a pretzel literally we ordered another one while eating. We are in town visiting and wanna go back again before we leave. An absolute pleasure of a day being here. The inside was super nice! No high chairs tho mommas, which is a negative. But we popped our Bugaboo out of the car and enjoyed the patio for almost 2 hours and had an array of apps and entrees for baby daddy aka husband and our 4 beasties aged 10 months/11yr/17yr/18yr olds. We had a couple of beers and service was excellent. The girl w the cute bat tattoo served us and she was a true joy. Very personable and efficient. The patio was super comfortable. The only thing I'd like to ask management to address is the patio half door slamming shut extremely loudly each time used....the bar back staff would go that way to dump refuse and would let it slam each time. Needless to say, if you work there have a bit of tact and DONT let it slam as there is not only a baby but people sitting literally right next to it and it's RUDE. But if it's patrons who'd not otherwise know until it occurs...maybe management can put a sort of bumper to let it hit softer and dull the very loud slam. Thanks much! Visited The Brass Tap this past Sunday and had a great experience. I forgot there would be football games playing, but the noise level wasn't too overbearing like the case is with many sports bars. The brass tap is bright and airy, and I love the big open garage doors. I ordered the Manifest Vodka Spritz. Happy hour pricing applied during the games, and I am so glad I picked this from the craft beer list! For just $6 I got one of the best, if not the best, canned cocktail I've ever tried. Despite being 5.8% ABV, it tastes nothing like liquor which I enjoyed. Ignore that the flavor is tangerine lime, this tastes JUST like Sprite. I went home and researched where I could buy some for home! I wish I remembered the name of our waitress because she was absolutely wonderful and so attentive. Really cool bar with decent food. We dined here on a Sunday for lunch and the place was packed with sports fans along with us regular diners. Energetic atmosphere and service was pretty prompt considering how busy they were. I ordered a single burger without cheese and it arrived dressed with bacon, fresh lettuce, pickles, and tomatoes. The crinkle fries that accompany this dish were crispy and I could have made them my entire meal! My husband's fried chicken sandwich was crispy with fresh toppings as well. He also loved the fries. We were searching for a great sports bar to go watch the UT college football game yesterday and stumbled upon the brass tap. We were able to sit outside have a big TV it was a nice evening weatherwise and our big group we got nachos we got chicken wings we got potstickers and some very yummy lemon drop drinks. Where to start? This is a seat yourself restaurant but it doesn't say that so you stand there awkwardly waiting for someone to walk by and tell you. The temperature was set to freezing - and I'm from NY, was wearing jeans, socks sneakers and a Patagonia fleece and I was frozen. I asked if they could adjust the temperature and our server looked at me like I was asking him to bring me the moon. The temperature Wasn't changed. The food was terrible. My brisket grilled cheese wasn't melty, probably because it's 60 degrees in here; my daughter's chicken sandwich was bland, soggy and and gross; the brisket tacos likewise flavorless, and my daughter's friend ordered a chicken Caesar salad that they forgot to make, and they didn't prioritize getting it made so we were all done with our food by the time her salad came, and surprise surprise - it was gross too. The lettuce was yellow, the chicken was unnaturally white and flavorless. I really don't understand how there are so many good reviews on the food. Listen to the one star reviews and take your business elsewhere. The waitstaff was also inattentive and terse. We never got a refill on our waters which was very needed to wash down the nasty food.
