San Diego taco, St Augustine taco, and beans and rice
    Michael S.

For a taco stand adjacent to a brewery, you would think there would be more of a partnership. That being said, the food was delicious. The shrimp taco (St Augustine?) was absolutely spot on. The taste of the fried shrimp carried itself through every bite. The steak taco (San Diego?) was ok, but needed something. The steak was a little over cooked which left the meat less flavorful and a bit chewy. Overall the food was definitely worth trying and I could see eating here again.

Came here with a local friend to check out this taco stand. The place is very laid back. There's a small parking lot and outdoor patio seating. It's located next door to Old Coast Ales and they share seating, so you can grab a beer while enjoying your tacos. We ordered the carne asada, carnitas and Baja fish , and tried all 3 house sauce (the Chili Arbol with a little smoky flavor was my favorite). The carne asada was a little dry, probably because it was close to closing time, but overall the tacos were enjoyable.

Yummy tacos!! Osprey is located right next to a brewery, so you can grab some tacos to drink with your beer - always a good concept! We're big sauce people and the Osprey folks thankfully gave us all the sauces to try - so good! Love the variety of tacos you can choose from too - you can't go wrong.

Osprey Tacos nails it with its hip vibe and creative menu. We ordered six tacos and chips, and everything hit the mark. The shrimp tacos were fresh and flavorful, topped with crunchy, crisp veggies. The beef asada taco was rich and perfectly seasoned, with tender meat that stood out on its own. The carnivore taco was loaded with a mix of juicy meats that felt like a feast in a single bite. The Idaho taco was pure comfort food with crispy potatoes and melted cheese The brussels sprout taco was a fun twist, with roasted sprouts and a smokey, yet slightly sweet finish. The setup is outdoor seating only, standing if you're indoors at the counter, but you can sit at the ale house next door if you want a drink while you eat. The staff brings your food right to you, and water is self-serve, keeping things super casual. If you're looking for bold flavors and a chill atmosphere, Osprey Tacos is the spot. Highly recommend!

This little taco place is so cute, and the food is delicious! We got six different tacos, and they were all delicious. My favorites were the Mahi Mahi and the grilled shrimp. The best thing about their queso is that it is thick, stays on the chip, and doesn't fall off. The weather was lovely, and we had our puppy, so we sat on the patio. We love it when a restaurant has a dog-friendly patio, and my dog liked their chips, too.

Great tacos, it's a cute little place and was clear it was a local favorite cause it was busy!! I loved my shrimp taco (5/5). I also had the fish taco with mahi mahi (3/5). They had some awesome vegetarian options too my friends had the tempeh taco, and the Brussels sprouts (5/5), potatoes (4/5) , tofu (4/5), and avocado tacos(2/5). I'd definitely go back if I was in the area and next door is the old coast ales brewery so can grab some drinks and tacos and sit outside to eat. Staff was friendly and attentive even tho it was busy. I loved the chips and queso, also they serve hyppo popsicles my friend said the watermelon hibiscus was really tasty!

Came here based off recommendation from friends who are local and the food was amazing though the counter girls service was complete opposite. Shared it was our first time , she didn't care. Asked how things work and she responded you order tacos , couldn't be more obvious then that at a taco shop. Basically each taco is ordered a la carte. They all are approx $5 each. I took my wife and sister here and we all got 3 tacos and felt satisfied from eating 3. Only one of us was full at 2.5 tacos. Food came out hot and fast and was delicious! I'd come back for the food because it was delicious and served fast even though it looked like they had a full house of customers. Seating is mainly outside on the patio , so prepare clothes according to the weather. Though their is a countertop that can seat people inside , but it'll feel crammed. It's a cool setup because if you like to drink beer, their is a brewery next door you can order your tacos and have them delivered there too. Parking is very limited in their parking lot though behind the restaurant their was lots of residential street parking that was close and easy for you to walk over too.

Carne Asada Burrito Bowl- Tex Mex style. Great flavors and delicious to eat.

Small, quaint, friendly, and very good food. If you're looking for something that is not a chain restaurant this is a great place to grab a quick bite to eat.

The exterior--such a fun little place!

Very good tacos in a really cool retro setting--I think the building was originally the front office of a motel perhaps? Very populuxe mid-century modern. Not much room inside, but pretty ample seating outdoors. Lots of different taco options--I had the St. Augustine Shrimp ones. Service is prompt, tacos come out quickly. About the only bad thing to say is the lack of parking--small lot and the rear entry to the lot is (or was when I visited) a muddy mess of rainwater and dirt, too. There is street parking however in the residential neighborhood behind Osprey--a quick hop, skip, and jump to get your tacos. The taco competition in the area is stiff, but I think Osprey is in the end the real winner if there is one and in any case, very worth checking out yourself!

Before we even walked in, we were reading through the reviews and noticed that the owner has a habit of responding to any criticism with an absolute novel of complaints back at the reviewer. We ordered everything to-go, which honestly felt like the right call anyway since the inside is pretty tiny. I got the shredded chicken bowl, same as my mom. My dad got a chicken burrito and my brother got a steak burrito. The flavors in my bowl were good but nothing that really stood out. It was heavy on the rice, onions, and black beans, which was a problem for my mom since she's not a black beans person, so she wasn't thrilled with hers. My dad was still a little hungry after his burrito. My brother was the happiest of the group with his steak burrito though, so there's that. Overall we just didn't feel like the portion sizes and quality justified the prices. The staff was friendly, which was appreciated. But it's a middle of the road experience for us.
