Let me just say that "2SP" has always offered great food, beer and excellent service! It's not a big place but it is cozy and rustic not to say you know that from the outside facade of an old bank. Service is accommodating, efficient and warm. The place is clean and tidy as well. The wings are some of the best I've had and they always offer a a weekly special sauce. Nachos are excellent and enough for 3-4. The salads are fresh, tasty, ample with interesting, savory dressings. My wife loves the Cobb salad from 2SP. I haven't tried an entree here yet but they sure look and smell great whisking by. The smokey chipotle chili is delicious and a tad spicy in a great way! Their own beer is fresh and delicious with many types offered. Oh, this is what I refer to as a "2fer1 stop cuz you can have some great beer and bring it home too! Nice, friendly folks that offer great, reasonably priced food, fresh brewed beer and awesome service in a homey atmosphere. What's not to love? I highly recommend this one! read more

It's been a hot minute and our opinion has changed for the better. Hard to believe we are so predictable that we ordered essentially the same meal, but loved it this time. Partner even asked server if management had changed while noting his disapproval of our first time. More menu options appealed to us and prices were reasonable. So predictable me ordered salmon and partner had pasta. Salmon was moist. I agreed to the recommended medium. Haricot vert were tender and the mango salsa and chimichuri were the perfect accompaniments. Partner was happy with his pasta and portion was generous enough to take some home. I had some leftover mashed yam that was gobbled up by my geriatric Jack Russel with a delicate stomach. Second chance success! read more

I hope our experience was a rare one off because it was awful. We sat at the bar and it took 10 minutes before any of the three bartenders/ servers acknowledged us. When one finally did he said "I'll be with you soon". Took another 5 minutes before a different bartender gave us a menu. We were finally able to order a beer and wanted to grab food but didn't get the chance. We sat there for 20 minutes attempting to get one of the bartenders attention to order food. We finally have up and left cash on the bar. No one acknowledged us leaving at all. The beer was kind of flat and not great flavor. Overall really poor experience. read more

To me, a five-star Yelp review marks a restaurant that has overall exceptional service, food, and atmosphere. It's somewhere I'd visit again and again, and it's a spot that I'd recommend to friends with no hesitation. That all describes this 2sp Taphouse! The food is really good--they have brewpub classics but also experiment with global flavors. The prices are competitive and the happy hour is a fantastic deal. I recommend the buffalo wings, smash burger, shrimp tacos, and Parmesan fries. The birria quesadilla and hummus are also great. The avocado toast is a newer menu item that I really enjoyed; I wouldn't think to put kimchi on avocado toast, but it works. It is also nice to see plenty of options for vegetarians. There are lots of 2sp beers on tap--the 2sp Brewing Company is local to the area--and they also have some cocktails. And don't skip dessert, the bread pudding is outstanding. The staff are friendly and usually pretty fast, especially during less-busy weekday times. The restaurant feels cozy but is actually somewhat spacious. This place is great for catching a game with friends--lots of large TVs throughout the restaurant, mostly concentrated at the bar in the front--and it's also good for families. We came to 2SP for Saturday night dinner. It's a huge restaurant, with booths and tables available. There's a small bar on the right side of entrance. The restaurant appeared little gloomy and smelly to me, maybe cause of outrageous heat outside. The staff were super nice as they hurdled to setup our table, then hurdled again to setup our table again, when we requested to seat outside. The menu has bunch of drinks wine, beer, sangria. They have happy hour as well. I liked the strawberry peach sangria, very subtle taste of alcohol in it. Food wise I like pretty much all the things I tried. Very nice garlic parmesan fries. Bacon mussels were cooked very nice with yummy sauce. Shrimp tacos came in a pair, with avocado paste, mango, and cabbage. I wish it came with some sort of salsa sauce that would have completed the dish. The hangover burger also looked so delicious. The service was great throughout the dinner. Our waitress was very friendly. The food came out in decent pace. Overall we had a really wonderful chill dinner. Although I felt food wise it was 4 star, but an extra star just for outstanding friendly service they provided. read more

This place simply doesn't have good food. We tried it twice hoping that if we ordered something different, it would be better but both my husband and I were unhappy each time. The smash burgers are really really greasy and the buns tasted like they were previously frozen for way too long and then thawed out and served. The buns were dry and they cracked as a dry bun does. Between the greasy burger meat and the dry cracked bun it was terrible. Would it have killed them to put a nice sauce or fancy mayonnaise on the burger? There was literally nothing on the burger to moisten it (except for the yucky grease) like a sauce would have done for a dry bun. Our server looked more interested in getting out of there than we did. read more

We really enjoyed our lunch at 2sp. Our waiter was welcoming and kind, and new just how the kiddos would want their meals (which came out very quickly). Beer was good, menu was heavy on the IPAs (not a bad thing). Burgers are of the smashed type, and are super well executed. Facilities are spotless, and the whole interior seems much bigger than the outside would indicate, with super long and comfy booths with padded upholstery. There was a slight issue in the kitchen, but whatever the mixup was, our waiter handled it with aplomb and great communication, and made sure we were taken care of. We will definitely be back, the food was great, and we appreciated the service. Plus I have more beer to sample. read more

Nothing better on a Friday night but an end of summer salmon berry salad and a few drinks. The salad was a very nice blend of summer and fall as it had both strawberries and pomegranate seeds throughout the greens. The salmon was very nice but a bit beyond medium for my taste. The strawberry lemontini was refreshing but not very strong in alcohol content so if you need a little more punch to start the weekend, I would go with the whiskey stone sour. The chronkie wasn't what I expected and I could do without to be honest. In terms of the kid's menu items they are on the smaller side so good for little ones with smaller appetites. read more

I have been to this place once for lunch and once for dinner now. The first time I sat next to the bar where they opened the garage like windows. It was very cool to be shaded from the sun yet breathe the fresh air from outside. The cocktail was great! The beers we had last night were also wonderful. I had the 10.5% Pollinator, and my husband had the Strawberry Hefeweizen. It was my husband's second time getting a burger and my second time getting a salad. Both times we were not disappointed. We also got the Beerbiscuits as an appetizer. I loved the honey butter. Could have been a little softer, but the flavor was great. Service was excellent and this time we sat outside with plenty of shade from the awning. Last night they were playing '90s music, which we loved. Finally tried 2SP Taphouse for a recent weeknight dinner! We were able to walk in without a reservation around 6:30 on a weeknight and were able to choose between indoor and outdoor. We wound up opting for a table with an umbrella on their outdoor patio, though the umbrella was not at an angle that actually provided any shade, so definitely remember the sunglasses and sunscreen. They have 12-15 2SP brews on tap and a few additional options in cans, offering both full and 10 oz pours of most of the brews. They do have the option to do a pre-designated flight, though this is not advertised in the menu --- you can either do all of the "All Weather" options or all of the "Seasonal" options. My fiance enjoyed the All Weather flight and said that the Pony Boi was his favorite. I opted for the Voluptuous Fuzz, an always reliable fruity option. For our meal, we started with the Cheddar "Beerscuits," which came with an Old Bay hot sauce that had well balanced flavors and the perfect amount of heat. My fiance got the Kalifornia Rolls sandwich, which came with two lobster-roll style brioche buns packed with seafood salad --- this sounded good on the menu, but was disappointing in terms of the seafood to vegetable ratio and the excessive amount of mayo on the sandwich. This is the main reason I reduced to 4 stars. I fared much better, choosing the Berry Bubbly Arugula Salad. This was a massive salad with tons of arugula along with strawberries, pomegranate seeds, granola clusters, and goat cheese which was light and a little bit sweet --- a perfect choice for summer. The accompanying salmon was well seasoned with a good sear. Overall, we're definitely looking forward to our next trip --- there were quite a few other items on the menu we'd like to try! read more

A great little happy hour spot with awesome brews! We started with the pimento dip and mussels. And then ordered the Berry Bubbly Arugula. Everything was very yummy. The addition of the crackers for the pimento dip gave it a great option. The salad was very light and fresh. The pomegranate seeds gave it a pleasant hidden crunch. The mussels left me wanting more, like an entree portion instead. The atmosphere was fun with the windows open and the weather outside perfect. A great spot to enjoy local beers. read more

I can't say enough about this place! I usually don't Yelp when I find a favorite spot close to home bc I'm a little selfish- 5 star reviews= long waits for a seat- but I had to pop on for this one. They prepare the most delicious Sweet Heat wings (extra crispy) perfectly... every.single.time and the blue cheese is seriously the best I've ever had! I'm not a beer drinker but my boyfriend likes the Pony Boy. Beyond that, the entire staff is so truly genuine and friendly! I love the little chats we've had with the different servers and bartenders. It's rare to find a group like the one working at 2SP. The stellar reviews are astonishing. The food here is about a half a step up from fast food. Frankly, fast food may be better. They serve a sad looking burger, reminiscent of a fast food burger, with some inedible BBQ kettle chips. Why they think anyone would want those chips is beyond me. Fries are extra but you're not sure how much because they don't list sides on the menu. When you order a burger and they don't ask you how you want it cooked, you know the result won't be good. The boneless chicken wings were what you expect from a box in your grocer's freezer, fried up with some sauce thrown on them. Service was slow, despite the fact that the place was, quite understandably, not busy. It took about a half an hour to get our food order taken. Things moved along after that, but really now. My wife and I tried out 2SP Tap House tonight and really enjoyed ourselves! Full disclosure, I'm a big fan of 2SP Brewery and am a quasi-regular at their tasting room, especially when there is a good food truck there. I don't cover the beers here, but if you have questions, feel free to leave in the comments. My wife did have a Strawberry Lemontini and it was very tasty! We started out with the bbq wings, and they were just ok. Nothing special but went well with my beer. Then we each had a burger. I had the Grand Slam, and it was HEAVEN! You can see the photo of what all was in it and what it looked Ike. It was as good as it reads, and the toasted sesame seed bun was a nice touch! My wife had the Turkey Gobbler Smash, and she loved it. I had a bite and I concur! For dessert we shared some kind of PB Jameson Bar. It was yummy! We wlll definitely be going back! read more

There on Saturday evening and had a great time. Not too busy, surprisingly. Service was friendly and attentive without being annoying. Had a delicious burger and they happily switched chips for fries, of which I got a mountain! Everyone at the table enjoyed the food. May want to consider expanding the dessert menus. Two of the three were pumpkin-based. I know it's that time of year but not everyone likes pumpkin. The other option was 'smore-based. Just not my thing either. Finally made it here after my BFF finally agreed to try a new spot. All I can say is that their burgers are simply the best I have ever had ! Delicious, moist, flavorful and just dang good ! Not some flash frozen burger. It's the real deal. I had a side salad also,which was good. Nice selection of salad dressings. I snuck a few of my girlfriend's fries and they were hot and just right. They have a nice patio so we sat outside .. Very pleasant ! I'm not a big beer drinker, but they have an extensive selection of beers and you can get a sample before you order. Our experience was great! We got the Baked Pimento Cheese Dip to start and it was a bowl of spicy ,cheesy goodness served with chips,crackers and celery for dipping. For my entree I got the Double Tap Burger, a double patty with caramelized onions, creamy American cheese ,pickles and a yummy buddha sauce all on a delicious sesame seed bun.
