I would give one star for the service, but I gave 2 because the food was pretty good. I cannot give more stars because of how our experience was here. We were seated at 6:10PM and at 6:22 saw no server. My sister had gotten up from the table to ask a waitress if we could at least get some water and bread. That waitress took our order and had told us she was serving tables upstairs, still, very nice of her to come over to help. A couple of minutes go by and the bartender came over to serve our waters and bread. She told us our waitress should be with us shortly. No waitress comes by and finally at 6:38, the waitress who served all the tables surround us, who passed us multiple times, came over to take our order. I understand when restaurants get busy, however I've never waited half an hour to have my order taken. read more

We got lunch deliver to our shop (Cost Cutters) delivery is very important for us.The food was made fresh steak and cheese stramboly was amazing and the pizza fresh and very good. We stopped here based on the reviews that it was an Italian restaurant with good service and very good food. That's exactly what we experienced. The Baked Ziti and Chicken Picatta were both great with ample portions, particularly the ziti. Both came with salad and garlic knots, the chicken also included sides. Italian bread can be substituted for garlic knots. Note: If you want pizza at dinner, it's not on the menu so "by request only". Our server didn't mention it was available until we asked. Grace served us and was pleasant and attentive. Prices are moderate. Atmosphere was comfortable and the strip mall location was not a negative for us (no parking problem). They have reopened. Soft opening not advertised grand opening yet. 3 of us had dinner. Salmon was very good. Grilled with side of vegetables. My guests said Eggplant Rolantini and ravioli was also very good. Only issue is I asked if I can get chicken picatta since they have veal picatta. Was vehemently told NO. When asked if server can ask the chef she said they were told NO changes period. I understand most chefs don't like changes but most Italian restaurants will have 4 dishes ie. Parm. , marsala, picatta, franchese made with either chicken or veal. The chef should consider this change to the menu. Rustic kitchen at casino does it great. I had lunch at Booty's & I am in total agreement with Damian M's review. The staff and management are completely unprofessional and they are bullies. When I had an issue with the service there was not a manager to be found and was told the manager, Neil, was in a very important meeting and could not be bothered. I then asked for a call back from management & when the manager of the wait staff called back, she told me "Neil can't be bothered with issues like this; he has more important things to do." I told her that good customer service starts from the top management, and Booty's has severe lack in good management. She then proceed to tell not to come back and hung up on me. That's unprofessional. It's really sad when management can not take constructive criticism & lashes out like a entitled teenager. read more

I've only ever had the pizza here, and was not impressed. Ordered at the window in the 'mall'. Lots of employees walking by, yet was ignored for at least 5 minutes. Even after they had stood right in front of to us to fill a glass. No eye contact to even say be right with you. Slices cost almost $4! For Hazleton, you can find much better elsewhere and for a better price. read more

Booty's is a great place for Italian food. If you ever find yourself unable to locate the item you have a hankering for on the menu, try asking the server and they are pretty good with making it. I tend to order off the menu when I go to Booty's. My only knock on the establishment is that one can tell the decor is dated, but the food and service is consistently decent. read more

First time eating here and I was pleasantly surprised! It is located in a relatively "janky" strip mall. But once we walked in it was a different world! Immediately the ambiance strikes you as very upscale. I was wearing jeans and a t-shirt and internally felt underdressed! However, everyone there was dressed very casually. We sat at the bar, as is my customary choice! Was greeted very nicely by Lorraine, the bartendress! We received our menus and it was quite a large selection. We had an appetizer and dinner! Our funeral director recommended Booty's for our after services luncheon. The food and service were wonderful, at a very reasonable price. We were seated in a private room upstairs which offered an intimate environment. Our waiter was absolutely fantastic. To start the place it self is extremely beautiful. But don't let the lights blind you. The employees all seemed rude an to hate there job. the waiter cudnt keep her eyes open an had to ask my daughter to repeat her self An then caught an attitude with a 6 yr old. As for my food it was nothing special really mediocre. My pasta was cold, when brought to there attention the waiter took my plate an came back 40 min later after my whole family finished eating. I refused the plate an asked to speak to to the boss. Well I got to meet a really winner when he came out. I have never In my life dealt with someone so disrespectful an rude. The guy instated I pay for my paste that I didn't eat. He threw it in aTogo container and tried forcing it on me. But when he called me a BITCH under his breath like I wasn't standing in front of him. That was it for me. SAVE YOUR TIME AN MONEY McDonald's right up the street. Having moved to Hazleton for a year I cannot recommend any other place. Not for lack of trying them all. Fresh ingredients, homemade pasta, generous portions and nice lunch specials. What a disappointment! My husband and I both ordered the Italian Wedding Soup with our meal. We each got 1 tiny meatball and very little pasta in it. He ordered Eggplant Parm as an entree - he said if it was sliced any thinner, you'd be able to see through it. Never again and will definitely NOT recommend to anyone read more

Went to a private party here. 16 of us. We all ordered from the menu. Everything came at the same time, hot and cooked to perfection. Service (1 waitress) was fantastic. I ordered the New Zealand lamp chops were excellent, medium rare and REAL mash potatoes. My husband ordered the meat loaf and mashed potatoes, and remarked it was one of the best he's ever had. I wish there was an extended rating system here, because I would give the food and service more stars, but less for ambiance etc. I have eaten in once and taken out once. I tried the eggplant parm and one of their pizzas. The price is a little steep, but you do get an enormous portion of food. The waiter was friendly and attentive, and service was a little slow, but not outrageous. The decor is not amazing, but it's not terrible either. The one thing I really didn't like was that the tables are topped with tile. It's nice to look at, but you draw a lot of attention to yourself if you put your glass down a little too hard. The strip mall it's located in is also really kind of gross, so you wouldn't expect a decent restaurant to be located inside it. It's pretty unfortunate, really, the inside of the mall smells pretty gross and the area just looks so dingy. It's Hazleton, though, so that's sort of what you get. The only real issue I have is that I was told that the place shut down suddenly a while ago with no advance notice to employees. The person I spoke to was really angry and upset about the situation, so this is just hearsay, but I have also heard there is new management since then, so hopefully that never happens again. read more

My husband, 1 year old and I went in for lunch today. We sat towards the back and immediately noticed the spores growing in between the glass, gross but we ignored it. We waited 10 minutes for a side salad to arrive. After 45 minutes the waitress came around to refill a drink order which then she told us there were a lot of take out orders and our food is taking longer then is should. Now it's been an hour, she tells us it'll be a little longer and offers bread for my son who is clearly hungry. She comes back with cold bread and no butter. In the end we waited an hour and twenty minutes. We had to take our food to go so we could pick up our other kids in time from school. We had to cancel the pizza that we wanted to take home for dinner because that wasn't made yet. I do not understand why they decided to attend to the take out orders before the costumers who are waiting in the restaurant. I would not go to this restaurant again. The food isn't that great. The service although friendly was poor. read more
