This traveling food truck features reasonably priced tacos and nachos. I liked the well run, well…read morestaffed, efficient operation. My loaded nachos lunch ($10) was ready just as soon as I pulled my credit card out of the reader. The loaded nachos entrée was generously sized, with crunchy chips, a good portion of warm, creamy queso, and a fair amount of my choice of meat (ground beef, chicken, or pulled pork), onions, black beans, salsa, jalapenos, cilantro, and avocado drizzle. More chicken and black beans would have been nice. They have an active social media presence, with plenty of events, so they are easy to find at their latest location. Very nice.

They have a small menu of about 4 taco options and nachos. The guys working the truck were super friendly and patient waiting for everyone to order and figure out what they wanted to order. I split the nachos, chicken fusion taco, and carnitas and potato taco with a coworker. I loved the nachos. There wasn't a lot of ground beef on them with is my only complaint. But they were loaded with toppings and spread pretty well so that you didn't get the 4 chips with everything on it and the rest of the chips being naked. It was a good even amount of toppings on all of the chips. The chicken taco was really good. Great Asian slaw and crispy taco shell. I wish they didn't put tomatoes on it because I didn't think it went very well with the slaw but overall that taco was really good. The carnitas taco was just ok. Not bad by any means but I think I just really enjoyed the nachos and other taco more. Great truck to get if you are needing to cater to a large group of people.

I ordered the lobster tacos and they were impressive in both taste and presentation. I also ordered a cup of Clam Chowder which was served with oyster crackers. Served in a cute sack with their logo and story. I ordered on the app so it was ready to pick up when I wanted with no line or wait. Staff text you when your order is ready which is super convenient as you can wait in your car if you choose to not order ahead. You order points towards free shop items as you order their food. It's a win-win situation. Thanks for the great experience!

Honestly, I don't even know if they deserve that. Today, my mother and I planned to get a lobster flight. My mother is a native New Yorker who grew up catching her own seafood, and living on a farm in rural Buckner, MO, she rarely gets the opportunity to enjoy a good lobster roll. I drove three hours from St. Louis, refusing to stop even though my doctor has instructed me to stop every hour to help prevent blood clots, because my mom was so excited to try this food truck. For once, it was close to her house. Driving to Lee's Summit is a huge stretch for her, while even Costco in Independence is much more manageable. I got home around 12:20 p.m., and we immediately hopped in her car to head to the event, which was advertised as running from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. We arrived around 12:50 p.m. only to be turned away because of the heat. We had just driven 30 minutes to get there, only to be dismissed because it was "too hot." Last week, in similar weather, the St. Louis truck had no issues operating and serving well over a hundred people during the food truck festival. I was almost in tears, and so was my mother. This was supposed to be a special treat for her. Personally, I feel like the heat was an excuse. My father owned and operated a food stand at the Missouri State Fair for years, smoking meat for over a week at a time and serving thousands of people. There was no food truck and no air conditioning. I am absolutely in favor of keeping people safe during extreme heat, but when you own and operate a food truck, hot weather is something you know you'll encounter. I also work a second job serving food and drinks out of a shed with nothing more than a fan for eight-hour shifts, and we don't close because of the heat. To make matters worse, the employee told us they had posted the closure online. There was nothing posted online.
