Remind me to never purchase from this place again. I purchased my pistol one week ago on the website. Easy. I knew that I'd need to complete some paperwork, but was told to come in on Thursday to complete and if the system wasn't delayed, I could leave with my weapon. Processing was delayed, no problem. I call on Saturday 5 days after purchasing the weapon and was told that the paperwork was cleared, but I could not pick up my weapon for another 72 hours. After a back and forth with the guy on the phone about when I purchased the weapon and would be able to pick up, the owner confirms that I could pick up the weapon on the day I was calling. When I arrive to pick up the gun, I witnessed the most inefficient operating of a business that I've ever seen. After waiting for about 35 minutes for the guy working to fiddle around with the computer, make small talk with the customers, and answer the phones, I was finally assisted by the second guy who was working there. He gives me my weapon after checking the paperwork over with no receipt. Who sells a weapon to someone and doesn't give them proof of purchase? This guy fiddles around on the computer and then calls the owner who THINKS he may have mailed me a receipt despite having told me that he'd have one ready for me when i picked up. I've been here now, for ONE hour waiting for a gun that I purchased 8 days ago. I'll never do business here again. They are only getting two stars because the price is right. read more

I chose Borderline as my preferred FFL because of their convenient location, professional gunsmithing services, and knowledgeable freindly staff. Boarderline also provides computers to electronically submit background checks saving time, engery, and errors. My 4 star rating is based on the 'limited' store hours of operation (only 4 days a week) not the excellent service. read more

Absolutely rude and unprofessional business. I had a gun delivered here and I had to wait until Mike was done bullshitting before he served me. He asked questions that were none of his business. He took a copy of the invoice where I bought the gun. Again none of his business. Total jerks. Don't send your gun here or shop here. read more

I've been a customer since they opened but I've stopped going there and have stopped sending friends to the shop as well. They don't carry much inventory and their main attraction was low transfer fees. Over the last few years they've steadily been increasing their transfer fees. The transfer fee was originally $25 per firearm, which was reasonable. The next time I was there it was $35 per firearm which is high. A friend just paid $45 per firearm there which negates any benefit of dealing with this shop. There are other FFL holders who will do your transfers for one fee, per 4473 filled out. Find one and use them instead. read more

Very knowledgable and courteous staff and management. Not a huge amount of inventory in the store, but full lines are available via their website with convenient in store pickup option. Website could use a little better search filter capability, but otherwise is well organized and easy to use. Based on my experience, I would surely recommend Borderline. read more

I had a gun transferred here from out of state, and I was very happy. Unlike some other shops in the area Borderline was more than happy to do the transfer for me. The owner Mike, and his staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Bottom line on Borderline is I'll be back. read more
