There wasn't any openings that day but said he'd be around my house the next day at lunch time (between 11:30 and 12:30). During that phone call he was very forthcoming with information and was very patient with my questioning. This morning, he called and was able to come at 11:00. Very knowledgeable, walked me step by step to what he was doing and why. He not only replaced the blown fuse but also talked to be about how to prevent it from happening. He was also frank with me about my wants and needs. At the end of the day, Loy and his trainee were at the house from 11:00 till 11:40 and fixed my dryer and a minor issue with the washer. It's 6 years old and the icemaker stopped producing ice. The Tech's name is Tom. He was on time. He was courteous, professional and went right to work. He took the icemaker apart and found the problem. He said he would try to do a temporary fix, which he did. The icemaker actually worked for a couple of days before shutting down again. He further informed me that he had to order the parts to complete the fix properly. Once the parts came in (2-3 days) he returned to complete the repair. He cleaned up after himself and asked if we had any concerns. He left his business card with us in case we needed to call for any recurring concerns. I would definitely request "Tom" from Bell's for any appliance service.

We had him out several times, and he missed his promised time every single time. We had to call several times when he forgot he was supposed to be at our job. Still, once he was there, he would work diligently and make every effort to do things the right and best way, not the easiest way. He did not take shortcuts, and you want an electrician who cares about doing your wiring correctly. He also took the time to solve problems we presented that were not part of the original plan, and he added them in at a fair price. This probably explains why he was often late. It can be hard to know how long a job will take, especially when you are doing your best to do things safely and correctly and taking the time to do it right. So we were understanding about that, once at our house, he often stayed longer than scheduled to make sure we were happy and the job was done correctly. We will use him again.
