My regular HVAC guy was unavailable. My husband called Richie's. They were punctual and thats about the only thing I can say positive. I'd leave 0 stars if I could. The guy shows up at 3:30pm and takes about 30 minutes to diagnose the issue. He said I need a new circuit board and it's going to total $800 even(seems like a made up number right?) I said "it is what is it" and began to research average costs. I guess he found the panel because he went straight to work without telling me he found it. Takes him maybe 15 minutes tops to replace and then stands around saying he is just making sure it works. I went to my attic and took a picture of the circuit board and looked up how much it retails for. $160 retail and they probably paid less being a hvac company. I expected a written bill or some sort of agreement before he began working and I had none of that. This man showed up at 3:30pm and was ready to take my card by 4:30pm. I had to ask for a bill to show what im paying. It said "circuit board diagnosis and replacement. Total $800. When I started to get frusterated asking for an explination I was told "it cost what it cost" okay so you are telling me OVER $600 IN LABOR FOR AN HOUR OF ONE MANS TIME?? I would never price gouge my customers the way Richie's HVAC did to me. I attached my receipt and cost of the part for visibility. It doesn't even break down labor and materials because they know exactly what they are doing

Did what they said they would do when they said they would do it....and more…read more Highly recommend.

T & D Heating and Cooling wired and serviced a brand new Mitsubishi mini-split system and branch…read morebox. I was forced to call them several times because the lines kept freezing up (see attached photo) it would not cool and the system would display a fault code. Despite my efforts explaining these problems, Thomas Holley (owner) & Graeme Chipperfield (tech) kept telling me there was nothing wrong... yet the system would never operate correctly. So I called Jacksonville Heating Contractors, several things were found wrong that T&D did; (1) the refrigerant was serviced wrong, (2) they did not pull the contamination out of the system and (3) the system was addressed wrong (see description on attached invoice). Several minutes after the Jacksonville tech left, the fault code came back. I called the tech and explained what was happening. He asked me to check the wiring at the branch box to see if the indoor units A & B were crossed. When I checked, (4) they were in fact crossed... I re-wired them and the the fault code disappeared. After all these corrections were made, the system has been operating without any problems, no line freezing, it cools/heats and no fault codes. I contacted T&D owners Thomas & Denise Holley several times asking for a "partial refund" from the $808.00 I paid them for the work they did wrong. I provided them with documentation from Jacksonville Heating Contractors and information from Mitsubishi Tech Support that identifies what they did was incorrect. But they refuse to even talk with me about this and take responsibility for the work they performed. T&D has shown no business ethics and the owners have no integrity to make this right. Beware!
