T & D Heating and Cooling wired and serviced a brand new Mitsubishi mini-split system and branch…read morebox. I was forced to call them several times because the lines kept freezing up (see attached photo) it would not cool and the system would display a fault code. Despite my efforts explaining these problems, Thomas Holley (owner) & Graeme Chipperfield (tech) kept telling me there was nothing wrong... yet the system would never operate correctly. So I called Jacksonville Heating Contractors, several things were found wrong that T&D did; (1) the refrigerant was serviced wrong, (2) they did not pull the contamination out of the system and (3) the system was addressed wrong (see description on attached invoice). Several minutes after the Jacksonville tech left, the fault code came back. I called the tech and explained what was happening. He asked me to check the wiring at the branch box to see if the indoor units A & B were crossed. When I checked, (4) they were in fact crossed... I re-wired them and the the fault code disappeared. After all these corrections were made, the system has been operating without any problems, no line freezing, it cools/heats and no fault codes. I contacted T&D owners Thomas & Denise Holley several times asking for a "partial refund" from the $808.00 I paid them for the work they did wrong. I provided them with documentation from Jacksonville Heating Contractors and information from Mitsubishi Tech Support that identifies what they did was incorrect. But they refuse to even talk with me about this and take responsibility for the work they performed. T&D has shown no business ethics and the owners have no integrity to make this right. Beware!

He then "ordered" a new motor and shroud and charged me ($900+) as agreed. It is December 8th 2024 as I write this and I still do not have the new blower motor and shroud. I still have the used components installed on my air-handler. I have contacted him numerous times, he has responded with various excuses and even admitted to "having forgotten about us.", and recently has said he was in a car accident and would see about getting someone out to install. (That was over a month ago). I think I have been more than patient with this guy, I try to give small business owners the benefit of the doubt and prefer to use them if possible. Lesson learned though. Advice to new customers... go ahead and pay the bigger company. You will save money and time. We will have to go the legal route to get our product or refund...sad, but the world is full of dishonest folks trying to get your $. I don't think running a business is Kevin's primary concern.

Then via 1 of the late texts he agreed to come yesterday (Wednesday) bw 12-2pm. He didn't show up or call. I purchased the Goodman heat pump (model #GSZ140301) and air handler (model ASPT37B14) with the Asure ten year parts and labor warranty from antonelli Comfort Solutions. It was installed September 24, 2021 by antonelli's employees (Shannon and a helper) but the heat pump has never operated correctly since the day it was installed. When the unit was installed it wasn't cooling properly so I called their office and antonelli came to check it. He said the unit was low on refrigerant but it was on the other truck and he would send Shannon by. When Shannon checked it he said he couldn't get a reading on the low pressure side. I'm not sure what Shannon did but the unit cooled better but it wasn't long before we needed heat. The unit wasn't heating the house so called antonelli's office again and they sent Shannon back to check it. Shannon said he had failed to connect a wire and that's why the unit wasn't heating.. I don't know for a fact what he did but we got through the winter. Summer of 2022 the heat pump cooled very poorly but I couldn't get antonelli to return my numerous calls or send someone to check it. The 10 year warranty requires an annual inspection of the unit so I was able to antonelli to do that on September 16, 2022. antonelli told me the unit was a half pound low of refrigerant so he said he added that amount. He was at my house a total twenty minutes so obviously he didn't do much of an inspection! In July 2023 the unit was cooling very poorly again so after numerous calls antonelli came to check the heat pump on August 10th. He said the unit was a pound and a half low of refrigerant so he said he added that amount. The next day I received a bill from antonelli in the amount of $101.41 for the service call. I wrote antonelli on August 12th to dispute the charge because I have the ten year parts/labor warranty and for a new heat pump to be low on refrigerate twice in 22 months had to either be a problem with the equipment or the installation. antonelli never responded to my letter. I called his office seven times leaving messages with his office worker (Melissa) and on his voicemail but he never called me back. (About two weeks after I posted this review antonelli unexpectedly sent me a refund check for $101.40. Written a the refund check was "refund for check #**** customer has labor & parts warranty). While I'm glad I finally got my money back it does beg the questions why did he charge me to start with? and why didn't he reply to my letter disputing the charge?) I literally spent months trying to find another HVAC company that would except the warranty. When I finally found one I immediately cut alllll ties with antonelli. When telling someone of the problem I was having with antonelli they said "well maybe he's really busy" to which I replied he made time to cash my seven thousanddddd dollar check by God he should made time to call me back!" It's reprehensible that antonelli didn't respond to my letter, my numerous phone calls or correct the problems with the brand new heat pump/air handler I paid him for, so yes he's the worst person I've done business with in the past 29 years!!
