Stopped in today while I was in the area and I'm glad I finally did. They have a wonderful selection of European foods that you don't usually find in regular stores. I decided to try their raspberry chai tea, and it was delicious! Anastasia was friendly and helpful. You can really tell they care about their customers. Came in thinking it was a European market but found it to be a great Eastern European market. If you're looking for Russian/polish food this is the place. Service was excellent and they have a good selection of meat, pastries, candy and dry goods. Left with a few things to try and will come back! read more

Irina was so nice. Took the time to answer all my curiosity questions. I'm a sucker for other cultures markets. It's like an amusement park for me. Ya know, like farmer's markets. How did I not know this existed? Been here a year and I drive past this plaza almost everyday. So many goodies--smoked fish, European breads (got the amber rye and sourdough-sooo good), deli meats, cheeses, desserts...definitely a happy discovery. The borsch coffee is delicious, excited to try the other drinks. Great place to fill a specialty gift basket or just chill outside and enjoy a drink. read more

Love love love this market ! They have everything you could want and more if you grew up European, very clean and the employees are the sweetest ! Always so helpful and very attentive. It's very Russian and Ukrainian and the environment where it's not like an overdone smile etc. but still polite and thorough. Prices are a little bit high but of course that's because you're getting things from out of the country. I think they're still really well priced for what I saw in there though especially since you're getting the authentic items and typically better ingredients as well. Super excited to be able to get some of their herbal products. Of course Russian Ukrainian tea is always a must! So I got some cheese puffs out of curiosity, a pastry and a cappuccino with hazelnut. I have to ask my old roommate what else I need to get so I sent a picture of some of the herbal products which I would trust for feeling better quickly if you're not! All in all this was a really cool experience and I hope that they have more prepared foods in the future. They are new so they still need to do pricing on all of the itemsand it would also be good if they had somebody there to assist with maybe items that Americans may not be used to if they're wanting that genre of customer. But all in all I really look forward to trying some of the prepared foods and I love seeing a European based store out here! I really want to point out the cleanliness of it! I think this is so spot on with Russian Ukrainian businesses. You can always expect the products and services to be top-notch quality and delivered in a clean and bright environment! Went for the first time today and bought a few items. When I got home, my kids tried some of the cookies. While I was sitting at the table reading the ingredients, I realized the product had been expired for a year. The store is small, so how is it possible not to be aware that items have been expired for that long? So please check your products before paying for them because they are pretty expensive but also you could get sick. Praying that my kids won't get sick from expired cookies. read more

This cute little market focuses on Eastern European--especially Russian--food items - it's a great find in Murrieta! The owners are warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable, and their prices are very reasonable. And then there's the quality--absolutely outstanding. Everything I've tried so far (and I've now visited twice) has been incredible. I highly recommend exploring the meats and cheeses at the counter; the staff is always happy to share details about each selection. Craving something sweet? The honey cake is pure joy. I've been three times now and always come home with something new. My family background is not Eastern European but we enjoy many of the foods, so I like shopping here. As others have mentioned the staff and owner are helpful and friendly. Some of my favorite things so far have been the Kielbasa from Hungary and the rye bread, plus the smoked fish and German chocolate! They always offer a cup of coffee which I have yet to try since I only drink coffee in the morning. Another thing I found was the high acidity cleaning vinegar which is at 9%. This is great for cleaning tile floors, showers and glass and can be diluted with water but has much better cleaning power than white vinegar you can get in US supermarkets. read more

A couple of days ago, my wife and I discovered a great Eastern European Deli "BORSCH & BEYOND". The store is conveniently located in Murrieta, on a large plaza with parking. The store is modern in design, sparkling clean, light and spacious. The sales area has a wonderful display of goods. The choice is huge, for every taste, all the products are fresh and high-quality. In addition, they bake their own excellent bread and offer freshly brewed coffee on a small terrace. The owner Alexander and the seller Yaruna were kind to us and extremely attentive to our needs. Cute little deli in Murrieta that sells all sorts of Russian goods. Bought a number of "stolen sugar' chocolates here. There is a nice little table just outside the store if you get some deli item that can be heated up and consumed on the spot. Plenty of parking since it's in a mall. read more

Saw a post of the new European market/coffee spot in Murrieta and went to explore. Such delightful knowledgeable ladies greeted us. They answered our questions and explained many products. The store is bright, so clean, and so many goodies. We only went to explore but a large boule of German Rye bread caught our eye and we could not resist it. I love this place! I've been there twice now, each time just to try various new and interesting foods. Both times the owners were so helpful and friendly, which is really something special these days. They have a great selection of candy, cookies, teas, meats, and (one of my favorites) pickled vegetables. The prices seem very reasonable too, especially considering it's a specialty store. They have some great looking cakes and pastries that I haven't tried yet, but looking forward to trying soon!
