This is a review on the restaurant portion of this establishment. We tried the plain/normal carne asada fries thinking these should be good since they had a butcher shop attached to them and we have always had good luck with this type of set-up. While the meat was good that was about it. The fries (I want to say they were not frozen, but made fresh) were thick fries BUT they were cold/stale and hard as a rock when they came out. This was not from overcooking they were just hard, so hard the plastic utensils they give had a hard time with them. While we did order the basic fries, this was a little too basic. The amount of fries with nothing on it was too much, and the toppings were not enough to spread around to get a nice thick coverage. And the size of the fries and them being hard made it even harder to get a good mix-in going. And for as expensive as these fries were that was VERY disappointing. They also had no salsa to pour on the fries the only hot sauce was tapito and that did not go well on the fries. We will probably be back and get a sandwich but we would never ever get the fries again. This gets 2 stars only because the meat had potential. read more

I was going to give 5 stars because when my husband and I stopped by. I was actually going to try Gaffle. Since Papabear Naturals was connected we decided to just eat brunch there. We bought sourdough bread and chocolate chip cookies which were both good. My husband and son ordered the breakfast sandwich and I ordered the elote fries. The lady who helped us at the register was soo nice and helpful. She mentioned their website online and deals. We had such a great experience that we told our in laws to take our kids there on a Saturday since their website says grandparents eat free on Saturday with paid grandchild meal. Unfortunately, the gentleman working there told my mother in law no 3 times. She was confused because we told her and sent her the website where it shows the promotion. We encouraged her to show the gentleman which she did and he told her he would just give it to her this time even after showing him it was on his website. Really disappointed that my in laws and kids had this experience. Not sure if the gentleman working was new and not aware or if the other lady who helped us was not correctly informed and their website is incorrect. I don't know where the breakdown in their business communication was but it lead to a poor customer experience. read more

Just tried this place out today and I was definitely pleasantly surprised. I got their delicious turkey sandwich that was filled to the brim with meat. Fresh produce and delicious bread made the sandwich a 10 out of 10. They also had chips that came on the side that were these massive rounds of potato with what I'm assuming was fried in tallow, SO GOOD. To me, it was a great portion size for the amount of money you're spending with very good quality ingredients. Counter staff was super nice and welcoming. The skin care products are lovely but it's more expensive than a lot of the high quality well-known brands at Sephora. if you're around the area, dooo stop by papabear naturals. it shares space with a coffee shop and little retail store so you can place an order, grab a cup of coffee at gaffles (also very goood) & do a bit of browsing while waiting for your order! we originally stopped by to try gaffle's coffee and ended up finding this gem inside. inside wasn't super busy but there was traffic of people coming in & out. we only waited about 15 minutes for our order. their BBLTA is an absolute MUST TRY and i can't stop thinking about their potato chips since then. whatever bacon they're using is so freaking delicious & they give a generous amount for a double BLT. i will definitely be stopping by here whenever i'm craving a BLT. hands down the best i've ever had! read more

I work across the street and have been wanting to stop in, but I'm always in a hurry. Today I had a friend come by my office and we walked here to get a coffee. The coffee is nothing fancy, but it was excellent! The milk for the coffee is raw milk/half and half, per the girl at the counter. I'm looking forward to trying breakfast and lunch! While the price for the coffee is very reasonable, I did note that the lunch sandwich price was kind of high. Maybe they are big which would make it worth it. Only because I don't quite understand the pricing or the current hype, especially as a local. 1) Goat and Vine 2) EAT. 3) Great Harvest The triple threat can be found in all three of the above mentioned-Scratch made food, quality to match pricing AND good customer service. This place prides itself on farm to table and beef tallow as main source for cooking the items on the menu...only true farm to table all the way that I know of thus far is E.A.T., and they have been around a long time. Beef tallow? Not really advertised anywhere else that I know of outside of Burger Lounge. This place ? It could use some work, I think. But then again who am I? What do I know but the feeling behind first bite? Only suggestion I have, even though no one is asking, is improve upon customer service and timely execution. PapaBear Farmstand is something special. The service is amazing. The ambiance is kind of quaint Americana. They are not actually open yet. I was told they would open in a few weeks. They handed out free samples of some of their products. Many are tallow based soap and cream products. They handed out free sliders and their own small batch tallow salt and vinegar potato chips. Which were different but quite good. They held a candlelight vigil for Peace in America and comfort for the families of those killed by hate, including Charlie Kirk's family. A special place that we should all give a try once they are open. read more

I love the vibe of the whole place , and the girl working the cashier is awesome but the menu in this place is not in order.. and they don't sell what they advertise. We came for the first time and I wasn't paying attention that lunch sandwiches start at 11 am, I tried to order at 9 something and they informed me of the times. It was served to my husband and I on sourdough bread which I thought was weird because all their social media advertises it on their homemade biscuits. Then the picky couple behind us happend to be allergic to multiple things and couldn't have any of the breakfast so the cook made them a turkey breakfast sandwich, remember it wasn't 11 yet! I was so excited to try this place. I really hate to write this review but feel compelled to. We ordered 3 sandwiches during lunch time. They were very busy- which I was happy to see for them. We waited for our food. And waited. And waited. We ended up seeing multiple families getting their orders who ordered well after us. We were there close to an hour waiting for our food. We asked one of the employees an ETA for our order. She said we were the next ticket. We waited more. After about 15 more mins, we asked to cancel the order. The male (maybe owner/head chef) seemed very annoyed and gave us our money back. I asked if we were maybe next? He said no we still had 2 tickets in front of us. Tried the breakfast this past Saturday. The place was basically empty. Bacon egg cheese on sourdough breakfast sandwich was $13. A bit pricey but ok. Sandwich was ok. It could have used a little salt on the egg but overall taste was ok. Sourdough was not toasted well at all. Barely toasted is what I would say. Where it really fell down was the bacon (or lack there of). Basically 1 bacon strip, 2 if I am being generous. Overall, it was ok but not worth going back for.
