Let me start with the positive: it's in London, easy to find, and is centrally located. The…read moreatmosphere is really good and staff is friendly, courteous and welcoming but I felt they were somewhat stressed out. The space is small and it's really filled up with tables to a point where waiters have to navigate gingerly but it IS London and space is $$$$ but they could easily offset it with great food but alas, that wasn't the case. Perhaps, an unsuspecting non Russian tourist might enjoy the experience, but as a native, if I had to use one polite word and not a lot of Russian expletives - dreadful would be it. If you own this place or work there you will know that all pickles came from a jar. You'd know that pastries were not made by you and weren't made today but you don't charge yesterday's prices. Even the bread was ehh. Not going to list the dishes but they all were not that tasty and possibly not made by a Russian cook. Notice, I didn't even use the word "chef" which is what this type of restaurant ought to have. A MAJOR disappointment and an expensive one at that. Don't do this. If you happen to travel to LA, I will make Russian food for you or at least tell you where to go

The atmosphere of this location is very calming as it is quiet in the cuisine, it's almost as you are there alone. The staff are very polite and friendly, they speak English and Russian and probably more!

Its short walk from the bridge and is situated in a cool, old fashioned bunker-looking type setting thats far away enough from the tourist chaos around the river Sienna walked us in and took great care of us. With a very pleasant and cheerful character, she made our meal quite a delight. Attentiveness, helpful suggestions and communication, and fun conversation really set her apart as a server during our time in the UK I got the Tower Temptation and the pork was cooked perfectly. The cheese and sauce/sausages from the stew really complimented the meat well. Fun fact: Mamuska has served the best slaw ive ever had, and im normally not a fan of cole slaw. You get a complimentary visit to their salad bar - its small and has 4 options but the slaw and carrots were simple yet somehow unmatched Despite being in the heart of London, the food here tasted authentic and this would be a place id recommend to others visiting London that want a break from classic English food! PS: their menu is hella cute (its a newspaper)

Decor is really cool and was decorated with stuff from the movie that was filmed here. There's a really cool feature where you can press a button for champagne. And the downstairs looks like there's a dance floor but no dancing was happening when we were there. 4/5 Bobs martini - this oyster infused vodka was very interesting and caught my attention. The vodka drink was a little sweet and topped with black olive oil. Very unique and I really enjoyed this. 3/5 Spicy martini - this was served with black pepper and was a bit dry, wasn't my favorite. 4/5 dirty martini - a standard drink but the olives were very juicy and tasted really good 2/5 Oysters - 3 for 15 was a bit pricey. It was a little fishy smelling which added to the taste. I didn't like it. Was only served with lemon and tobasco 3/5 Steak tar tar - my partner loved this but I just thought it was ok. 4/5 Shepherd pie - my favorite dish we ordered. Great presentation and tasted really good with fluffy potatoes on top with nice flavored meat. Would love to try the others on the menu. Overall was a fun experience and although I only gave 3 stars I would come back because the shepherds lie was so good.
