In town on business and the local team recommended this location. First impression, interesting restaurant with their "push button" for champagne at the table. From the Serbian caviar, salmon tartare, to the half shell oysters, were all perfect. I am a big oyster fan, and these had some wonderful flavor! Several at the table did the beef Wellington, but I selected the Chicken & Champagne Pie. Haven't seen "chicken pot pie" on many menus and it was a nice surprise. Everyone ordered desserts and I opted for the BBR Signature Chocolate Glory. Interesting presentation with the hot chocolate sauce poured over the top at table side. Overall, the service and the atmosphere were great for the location and would easily return on a future visit. Make sure you stop by and give them a try. Enjoy! PS... There is Little Bob Bob location right across from the main location.

Excellent atmosphere and amazing beef wellington! The waiters were attentive too! Keep in mind this place is pricy but the food service and atmosphere are quite exquisite. I got the beef wellington for 2 for 100 pounds and have no regrets! It was my first time trying it and I loved it!

An amazing upscale ambiance that lives up to its reputation with some fantastic appetizers and main dishes NOTE: Great for larger parties but beware of the "champagne" button- super cool, but it adds up Food 5/5: Beef Wellington for two 5/5: A must have, they give each person a good sized Wellington piece and then the two ends are filled with mushroom/ truffle- excellent Melting egg dessert 5/5: one of the pour over chocolate desserts Creamed spinach 4/5: Very tasty but more standard to mind boggling like the rest of the food Fries 3/5: Similar, truffle dies were excellent with the sauce but not too wild Had a few other appetizers which were excellent as well

This place was really good, and I will definitely go again on my next trip to London. Kelvin and Juan behind the bar , were very nice and informative , and made my time at the restaurant that much more pleasurable. I also had an opportunity to meet the director who was also very nice , and accommodating. Although I didn't catch his name. Now the food was good! I had the smaller chateau brand, and spinach accompanied by a Malbec ( Juan's recommendation) with a toffee pudding for desert. Now the beef , and spinach were seasoned nicely , which was a welcomed surprised. The toffee pudding was just ok! It was my first time trying, but I would definitely pass on this next time as it reminded me of a bran muffin. With that being said Bob Bob Richard is worth a stop by.

Loved loved loved this place!! My group of friends love champagne and this was the perfect night cap for drinks/apps. We basically just got caviar and champagne but then also got a dumpling appetizer that was super yummy! Caviar was served with traditional accompaniments and was very fresh. Service was great, and the champagne button actually works lol. Ambiance is cute, classy and girlie.

I'm obsessed with beef wellingtons so it was a must try in London. We picked Bob Bob Ricard and not only was the wellington delish but also the vibes were It has an Art Deco interior to DIE for and the overall energy is Russian old money.... on a train..? And ofc, I cant forget to mention their famous "press for champagne" button. Started with some apps, tartare was solid but the soufflé felt too dense. Instead, get the varenikis. The traditional Russian/Ukrainian dumplings were stuffed with TRUFFLED potato and topped with a mushroom velouté. Very warm, hearty, and flagrant. Beef Wellington is a sight to behold. They bring out the whole piece to showcase its beautiful pastry exterior. The carved pieces have a contrasting pink interior that screams IM TENDER Its juicy and rich, with a buttery crust that compliments everything perfectly. Highly recommend trying it out! Steak Tartare £14 Stinking Bishop Cheese Soufflé £13 Truffle, Potato & Mushroom Vareniki £22* Beef Wellington for two £88* Sautéed Spinach £6.50 분위기부터 만족스러운 Bob Bob Ricard!

I find myself agreeing with at least one other reviewer - I went with high expectations and sadly those expectations were not met when it came to the food nor the service. Prices are HIGH, even a little French bread a a single small pack of butter cost £7.50 It has a classy decor including in the downstairs restrooms. As advertised it has a button by every table that you can press when you want another drink (none of the 3 of us did). On drinks we had 2 glasses of champagne (£19 each). We all made the mistake of ordering the lobster Mac and cheese (£36 each so a bargain in this place you might think) with "the meat of an entire lobster tail" - sounds good until you see just how TINY is the lobster used. I have never seen such a small lobster shell in my entire life - it arrives to adorn the dish itself (see pic) It was dry, seemed very salty to me, and I only noticed 3 very small pieces of lobster meat. I ate all of mine because I was hungry, our guest ate only a little. Still hungry we went for desserts and two of us ordered flaming creme brûlée "flambéed at the table" - sounds grand doesn't it? Expecting a show? Don't! A lady brought two in one hand, yes they were flaming, she was still holding the cigarette lighter in the very same hand - spectacle? No. Disappointing? Yes Would I return - no. I have way better ways of spending almost £300 at Sunday lunchtime (or any time).

Absolute perfection from beginning to end- ambiance off the charts. Service was fantastic and absolutely delicious all the way. And fun! Go to this place- you won't be disappointed!

Tuna tartar paired with a glass of challis. I should have gone for a Sav blanc.

Great staff, great food and nice ambiance. I just needed some cocktails and apps and they didn't disappoint. From the caviar to the tartar, I was pleased. Also a nice touch with the button to push for champagne, if you leave it on they k3ep it coming! I'll definitely be back

This was our first time to this s restaurant in London. The ambiance was good and lively. The food was ok until we got food poisoning . It was the only place we ate all day and all 3 of us within 5-6 hours was throwing up. It was horrific. It definitely put a damper on the trip. We ate steak, chicken and champagne pie, and sole fish. We shared the sides. Wow! After this horrific experience, we will not be back. To top it off, The service was a disappointment. All in all, we will not be back.

When I was planning my trip to London, my research lead me to Bob Bob Ricard, which was a Ton of style, and the substance to back it up. So I made my reservations. We got seated in the downstairs area, which I must say I loved that every time I was seated downstairs in London. So fun. After descending the stairs, we walked across the dance floor, past the snazzy bar, and so our amazing booth with the affixed champagne bucket. Which would be very handy used in conjunction with the Press For Champagne button that was on our table. Style, check. Another thing I really enjoyed about London was their embracement of the mocktail. The large majority of the restaurants and bars we encountered had a dedicated mocktail menu, with a bunch of varies, good choices. I don't remember exactly what I got, but it was pink, it was froufrou, and it was delicious. On to the apps. We got the Crab, Scallop & Shrimp Pelmenii (Traditional Dumplings Garnished with Trout Roe. Served with Langoustine Bisque). Super good. These little dumplings didn't have a ton of filling, but what they contained within was potent. Very much like crab and scallop and shrimp. Richness, with those little pops of salt from the roe to balance it all out. Get this. For the entrée, there was only ever one right choice, the Beef Wellington for Two (28-Day Aged Fillet of Aberdeenshire Scotch Beef Served with Truffle Jus). This epic thing was cooked to order, presented to us, and then sliced open at tableside. Within the perfectly flakey puff pastry was the most well-cooked filet I've ever had in my life. I'm not kidding. It was a perfect medium rare all the way through. All the way. Deep, melt-in-your-mouth beefy flavor, with the flakey flakes, the earthiness from the mushroom, and the rich sauce tying it all together. One of the best things I've ever eaten. Substance, check. With this miraculous beast, I got a side of Truffled Mashed Potatoes. I'm not one to tout on the flavor of truffle, like I'm some oil tycoon from the 1940's, but it does have its uses, and this was a nice use. Subtle truffle with the silk smooth mash made an excellent addition to my Wellington. To finish everything off, I ordered the BBR Signature Chocolate Glory (Valrhona Dark Chocolate, Praline Crunch, Coffee Mousee and Caramelised Hazelnuts with Hot Chocolate Sauce). In another flash of show, they brought the chocolate orb right to the table, and poured hot chocolate magma over it, to melt it away and reveal the beauty within. And I do mean beauty. All of the great components of a dessert were in here. Bitter dark chocolate, crunch from the praline and the hazelnuts, and the coffee mousee also adding a little bit of bitterness to the sweet sauce. A very well done dessert. Overall, this place was excellent. It delivered on both the style And the substance. And the route to get there was nice, too. Walking through the streets of SoHo on a Saturday night was definitely fun. Do recommend this place. Come.

I am forever grateful for the staff of Bob Bob for accommodating my last minute London wish for Beef Welly. We got there about an hour before close and to our dismay, the kitchen was closed. We sat at the bar and regrouped over some wine and were surprised when the staff said they would be able to accommodate us. The vibes are very old money but not as stuffy as The Capital Grille. Best Welly I ever had and the sides were pretty good though the spinach was a touch salty. Also got to try sticky toffee pudding. Yes, it was expensive but well worth the money for a great dining experience.

Love what's going on here and this was our favorite meal while in London. Bob Bob Ricard has a funny story for why it is named as such. Apparently it has to do with who fronted money - 2/3rds Bob. Anyhow very close to our show we were pleased to find this swanky joint. We came in early with the goal of hopefully leaving on time for our show. I will note we actually were about 10 to 15 minutes behind due to service but it didnt matter in this instance. We were seated on time and into our own, comfortable booth, with its own "Press for Champagne" button. The service was great. Lots of knowledge on the menu which is of course appreciated. While not regular consumers of Champagne or Caviar we moved forward with a "when in Rome" approach. Dom Perignon and Caviar sampler were ordered. Certainly, we appreciated the hype with both of these items . We additionally enjoyed a salad, followed by beef wellington and classic sides. The beef wellington was perfectly done and served expertly. Finally appreciated the amazing souffle; hot, savory, sweet, bold. I would come back over and over again for the dessert experience by itself. The restaurant treated us to a delicious bonus chocolate dessert as we were on our honeymoon. A high level, quality English experience which will not be forgotten. In fact we enjoyed our selves so much that we plan to come back the next time we visit.

Got the gravy on the side, didn't think I'd use all of it, before I knew it, it was all gone. I will be mixing mustard into my mashed potatoes from now on. Originally came for the sticky toffee pudding, so of course we ended with that. Marvelous! The toffee sauce is so comforting and rich, the cake was so moist, and it was perfectly balanced with the ice cream. Didn't detect any dates, maybe they were too finely chopped. Also the apple and blackberry crumble just didn't hit the same; it was slightly dry and on the sour side (maybe don't take a bite directly after the pudding!) Service was so helpful and friendly; I'm sure they love watching people fall in love with their food. Quick with refills and offered extra condiments if needed. Great air conditioning as well (always a plus), and I loved the green blacksplash and blackboard caligraphy on the walls as well. Bangin'

My wife actually booked dinner reservations in advance for Ye Old Cheshire Cheese, it was one of a few we did that for rather than just popping in. For some of these, Cheshire included, it isn't a bad idea if you want a full meal to do so as it gives you a table in a dining area that is quieter than the More raucous areas of the pub and guarantees you plenty of elbow room to dine. Every pub has fish and chips, and we had our share of it during our 8+ day trek, but my wife swears by this place as having the absolute best. I'd likely agree with that--we both had the traditional fish, chips, peas platter and every bite was great. We had a few slices of sourdough to hold us over while waiting for those plates. My wife had a bit of wine, and I tried a lager, lower ABV ale, and a pour of scotch opting for their "house" scotch. The spirits/beer menu was the same I saw used at a couple of what I think must be "sister" pubs all using the same distilleries and brewers. We were too full to try dessert. Service was friendly. Not sure if it was the vintage of my scotch or her wine, but price-wise this was by far our priciest pub visit in the area and I can't quite point my fingers at why, but I don't regret our meal and time here. As for historic interest, you can find pictures and placards of many of the pubs famous patrons from history--Dickens, Mark Twain on visits to London, etc. A first edition of a Dickens' book adorned a post by our table.
