I try to find something positive to say when leaving a review, but I'm struggling with this one. This a public health concern. During our family walk, my husband, son, and I stopped by this Central Avenue location. On the outside of the building, it looked unkept. A little dusty where you could tell the tables and patio floor hadn't been attended to regularly. When you walk in, there are boxes stacked up everywhere as if they're packing up to move. At this point, I was starting to feel like cleanliness wasn't a priority. However, my son wanted a donut and from a distance, they seemed to be fresh. My husband and I were trying to hurry up and choose a flavor for our toddler, when I saw gnats/bugs flying around in the donut case and landing on some of the donuts. I walked down to the other end of the case and there were more gnats/bugs walking on the donuts. We told the employee, a young lady, possibly a teenager or young adult, that bugs were flying around and landing on the donuts. She said, "Oh no, I'm so sorry!" As they continued to serve them to the drive through customers. We asked if they had anything freshly baked and she pointed to a rack of donuts that was sitting out in the open and said "You can have one of these. We baked all of these (rack and in the case) this morning." It was around 9:00pm, so nothing had been freshly baked for hours, which is their business. Gnats lay eggs. They didn't consider throwing away any donuts and were aware of the bugs. read more

Just went to go order a tai tea with EASY ice and they charge for easy ice $1.00 and with NO ice $1.50 will never go back to this place and they never greet you with a nice day. read more

Just moved to Phoenix from Chicago and was excited to try this local chain as I had heard you can't do wrong and the donuts are fire. Was very disappointed. The donuts lack flavor and kinda just seem overly processed, from frozen, or from a box. Frosting so thin you can see through it; if I want a frosted donut I expect a decent amount of frosting. Coffee was abysmal, literally tasted like ass. They are open 24/7 so maybe this is a better place for grabbing something sweet after filling your senses and your taste buds so you don't notice how bogus they are. I know it's Bosa donuts and that I've had them before and all that ... this particular store gets one star from me and I don't mind being this generous at all. Customer service is not a priority at this location, so what. I take exception to flat-out rudeness and lack of respect to customers that just happen to enter the establishment to purchase product - donuts. Maybe I'm wrong, but hell, I have what they want (it's in my wallet) and they have what I want(ed) which is behind the counter, called donuts. It should be simple to complete the transaction without complication or ill will. I do believe that is why the staff are there and the company is open for business, correct? But unfortunately, for the last two visits to this location on central ave - unnecessary problems occurred, which were initiated by staff as soon as I entered store. They did not want my business and they made it perfectly clear that's how they felt. From 'what do you want' to ugly attitudes, which overall didn't bother me in the least bit - I just realized on the spot these poor souls are driving business away and that I can go anywhere for the product produced there. Asked for hot coffee, got attitude. Cool, thank you. Other issues arose from there and resulted in no sale. I felt sorry for the staff behind the counter that obviously despise their job. Excellent donuts but the service was just so so. Bosa is known for having extremely delicious donuts of all sorts and this trip was exactly that. Unfortunately the girls behind the counter had the personality of a blank wall. We were not greeted when we walked in and she just stared at us until we told her what we wanted. She put the donuts in the box and told me how much it was. I paid and we walked out with no thank you or good bye. I love coffee, but hate the coffee buzz. Bosa's iced coffee is surprisingly good. It gives me that boost of energy I need, but doesn't make me feel jittery. It's got good flavor and they have a variety of syrup flavors. Just the right mixture of coffee, cream, flavor, and ice! I only go here for my iced coffee now! We got 2 breakfast bagels with ham, egg, and cheese. I will say, these aren't your traditional bagels. They aren't dense, and sit like a rock. They are basically soft rolls with a hole in the middle, and I'm all for it. If you set that expectation, you'll enjoy the sandwich. They have so many different kinds of donuts as well. We got a 1/2 dozen, and I snagged the glazed twist before taking this picture. It was fresh, and practically melted in my mouth. So good. They have a drive thru window and a picture of all their donuts on the menu, making it super easy and convenient to grab a dozen. The rudest worst Bosa Donuts location. I will specifically never go there. They were rude and snippy and short when ordering. Then I bite into my Apple fritter on the drive home and it tastes burnt. I look and it's literally black as in burnt to a crisp and terrible. There is no way anyone should've sold that to anyone. I then go to eat my croissant and it's drenched in condiments- just disgustingly drenched. I can't even eat it it's so bad. I stopped by their grand opening late morning today for the Free Doughnut (or Donut) Day today. The blonde gal working the counter almost looked like she didn't know it was free donut day- even while they were having their own grand opening freebie at their location. I inquired which donuts were free, because I knew that not all the donuts were free. Sadly awkward. However, she was polite and pointed out the donuts on display on the bottom shelves. I selected vanilla filling. I would've appreciated it if there were markers in front of each tray to distinguish the donuts and fillings. They stopped selling vegan donuts because they're "too busy". It doesn't feel great to not be valued as a customer.

They only have vegan donuts on Saturdays and Sundays. I called at 4 pm on Saturday with the intention of placing a pickup order for two dozen vegan donuts. The lady who picked up was sweet but told me that, unfortunately, vegan donuts are only first come first serve, so no pickup orders are allowed. I drove 30 minutes to this location and when I got there at 6 pm, there was only one tray of vegan donuts. They had chocolate, strawberry, glaze, vanilla, and apple fritter. There were not enough donuts for two dozen, which was a bummer. I ended up buying all 19 of their donuts minus the Apple fritter. I had my family and friends try the donuts and they couldn't even tell they were vegan! These are the best donuts I've ever had, vegan or not. Next time, I will call ahead to see how many vegan donuts they have left. I am not sure what time they make their vegan donuts, but I will ask so I can get there earlier, especially if I want a large order. read more

Service is terrible. The owners have their teenagers working the place, and as typical teenagers, SUCK at providing customer service. The donuts are mid.. probably the worst tasting out of the bosa locations I've been to.. the donuts taste like pure grease. As much as I have loved their donuts over the years I would not go back because to me customer service is everything. I just came back to my department where after working 10 hours straight at the hospital down the street, I took a quick drive to Bosa. Then I get to the window and hear her very politely tell the car ahead of me "have a good night". She did not address me as I got to the window, just said my total "$6.16" . I paid her with cash because I was kinda annoyed, She handed me my change, and the bag with my 2 donuts. I turned my head briefly to throw the change in my cup holder and she says flatly "here" as she held out my cup of coffee. I grabbed it from her, I said "thank you", and this rude person (I'm being generous) said nothing and slid the window and walked away. I took a sip of my coffee to check the taste and it was still kinda bitter. The other young lady working saw me waiting and opened the window, asked if I need anything and I asked for 3 creamer for my coffee and I was handed containers that were stuck together. I said thank you to the lady whose parents obviously have taught her manners and I drove off. Sadly that some people just leave a bad taste in your mouth. They don't have the thick consistency of other places that make you feel guilty after a donut. I normally eat more than 1 because they're just so good! For being a Friday night, there was apparently only 1 person working, didn't get a dozen donut holes I ordered and was given a regular straw for a boba tea. I saw the boba straws in the window but the guy disappeared after giving me my order. Great donuts but this location had horrible service. Come to find out, they are all independently owned so choose your Bosa wisely. Was going to give 1 star but given we are still in a pandemic situation, maybe that is the reason for poor short staffed service. read more
