Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Sandwich on a Bagel

Bosa Donuts has a reputation for the best donuts in the Valley, but their Employees need a serious overhaul in Customer Service training. I recently visited on National Donut Day, June 7, 2024. I placed my order at the drive through speaker, then proceeded to the window. The woman at the drive through window refused to honor their own Donut Day promotion. The sign in the window (which was inches from her face) clearly stated "Get one free donut with any purchase June 7, 2024". (See photo.). She stated the promo was over, offering no reason. She did, however, quickly present me with a credit card machine with a prompt for a tip. Foolishly, I agreed to a tip. This was a poor move on my part, given her refusal to honor the promotion AND the fact I later learned she did not fill my order correctly and bagged the order incorrectly. Bosa, if you're reading this, please take appropriate corrective training action. If you don't, I just don't see how Customers will tolerate premium prices, incorrect order fulfillment and random decisions to not honor promotions.

Local breakfast spot in PHX, this has all the feels of a old-skool 80s ambience and decor. Dine-in tables/booths sectioned off as they renovate/refresh that area. It's not exactly upscale ambience, but perfect for drilling down and getting some work done. Thought I noticed a drive-thru, forgot to confirm though. Excellent turkey, egg, and cheese croissant made to order - warm, melted cheese, mmmmm, very tasty! For a sweet treat I got an apple fritter and had a bite of the sour cream donut. The apple fritter had a sweet canned apples taste - too much of a processed sugar sweet for me; I prefer legit apple chunks. My sour cream donut was decent but nothing to write home about. The croissant was the star of the show! This location was close to our Vrbo, so breakfast sandwiches were still warm when we got to the table. Very reasonable prices, filling portions, and this locale's open 24/7? Priceless!

I'm a fan of this quick, casual donut spot. The price is right. My go-tos are a standard chocolate frosted or a cinnamon sugar twist, but my bf is obsessed with their maple bars. My experience with this location has always been that the donuts are very fresh. My only qualm is that the space itself isn't the most welcoming. The coffee is strong and pairs well with donuts. Their teas are also pretty good, and they serve croissants and bagels and breakfast sandwiches. However, we all know donuts are the star here. If you're looking for bizarre, unique flavors, this isn't your spot, but if you want a classic done well, you should swing by.

You see this place everywhere in Phoenix. Open 24 Hours and usually the restroom is not available. Their donuts are so good. You have people who hang out there at certain times (you know). I usually order their large Vietnamese iced coffee which you can only get via drive thru or walk in. You won't see it when you order through Door Dash. One time an Officer saw me holding my iced coffee, he had a certain smile. All I'm going to say is know when to go...hahaha. Another time a customer came from one of the hi-rise apartments next door, she opened the door and saw me with a sigh of relief. Listen, you'll always get good donuts and drinks here. I wouldn't worry about the surroundings. Just be yourself and chill.

Can't say that my expectations weren't a little bit crushed when the shop with the phrase "Best doughnuts in Arizona" didn't live up to the name. Decent doughnuts and have a good selection but honestly didn't find anything extra ordinary about these doughnuts. Honestly would have appreciated just a bit more glaze on some of them. Classic doughnut shop, works well for when you need a variety of doughnuts for a party or work meeting.

Came in to get a late night donut for dessert. They left us waiting from r 5 minutes while the staff member was in the back. I was just about to order when I saw something in the case where the donuts are...at first I thought it was a fly. Yeah, it was a roach! We left... Bugs happen to all kinds of restaurants. Let's face it, they like good food too! However, this location had bad customer service and roaches. This equals 1 star in my book. I'm willing to review them again at another time but not tonight! Still got the willies...

My Fat Covid Quarantine BUTT should NOT be patronizing any donut shops and I should definitely NOT be giving out 5-star reviews to a donut shop...BUT BOSA...You won my heart. I was on my way to the lab and I decided to grab some donut holes for my crew. As I waited my turn in line, I realized I was also hungry and I wanted a sandwich. A ham and cheese sandwich sounded like a solid option and then I had a revelation: DONUT SANDWICH. I could hear the fans in the stands chanting with me in my head, "DONUT SANDWICH, DONUT SANDWICH, DONUT SANDWICH!" As I approached the plexiglass, I shouted, "DONUT" and I totally expected the little lady behind the counter to share my enthusiasm and respond with, "SANDWICH". Instead she barked at me, "WHAT KIND????" I ordered my 24 donut holes for my hungry extractors and then things got interesting. I asked for a ham and cheese sandwich with everything but no jalapeños. She asked the magical question, "What Kind Bread?" And I exclaimed, "I would like that sandwich on a DONUT! DONUT SANDWICH!" She said no. I was heart broken. I asked why. She said that they did not make that kind of sandwich. So I asked if I could get that sandwich on a croissant...she said yes. I said, "Well, then why not a donut?" She said no. I asked if I could get this sandwich on a bagel. She said yes. I then began interrogating her like I was on the case of the missing Pink Panther Diamond. "Will you slice the bagel?', I asked. Again, she said Yes. SO....what is the difference between the bagel and the donut???? Slice the donut and make a sandwich! She said, NO! It would not taste good. We then spent 5 minutes debating the taste and how the sweetness of the donut would be an amazing contrast to the savory ham and cheese. She gave in and said she would make this sandwich for me. She asked if I ONLY wanted ham and cheese. I wanted the works. She roller her eyes, went to the back, probably cursed me in at least 2 different languages and then emerged with exactly what I wanted: DONUT SANDWICH I have been back a few times and even though I usually have to do some crazy convincing, they make me my sandwich. OH yeah...If you wondered....DONUT SANDWICH is amazing.

They stopped selling vegan donuts because they're "too busy". It doesn't feel great to not be valued as a customer.

She made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down and checked on us just the right amount. We ordered two BEC sandwiches, which sadly are no longer on the menu, but wow, they were delicious! The bacon was cooked to perfection, crispy and flavorful, and everything tasted fresh and satisfying. Instead of the greens, we opted for the Million Dollar Potatoes and they were super yum! Such a tasty choice and the perfect addition to the meal. Great service, delicious food, and a lovely breakfast experience. Thank you, Arely, for taking such good care of us. We will definitely be back!

The interior is pretty long with a large number of seating inside the building so we had no trouble getting seated right away by the hostess. We decided on food relatively quickly due to previous experience with the business, however, our waiter never came around to take our orders or even give us water at the table. We saw one girl with dyed hair who unassumingly could have been our waiter since she was in our section but only worked with one particular table and ran to the back after each time, but never addressed our table or came by. We eventually had to flag a different waiter down who was able to help us place the order and service us for the rest of our visit, she also informed us that this other "Waiter" was supposed to help us but she wasn't sure why she never made an attempt to do so after having us wait 20 mins and other tables were being serviced. We ordered Flordian French Toast and Elote Breakfast Burrito (plus a couple sides and drink) which were both really good, and filling. Prices weren't too bad for what we ordered and was able to take our mind off of the rather long wait to get helped. Not sure if we'll come back to this particular location again, but it was nice trying the restaurant out another time.

The staff was friendly throughout our stay, and the overall property has a relaxing atmosphere that makes it easy to enjoy the sunshine and scenery. We booked an upgraded suite with a separate bedroom and TV room, which gave us plenty of space to spread out. While the layout was great, the room itself could use some updates. The bathroom fixtures were older--the Kohler toilet didn't flush well and was a bit noisy, and the tub/shower combo had rounded sides that made it tricky to stand comfortably. The shower water also never got fully hot. The room had a slightly musty smell, and the carpets would benefit from a deep cleaning. The balcony screen door didn't close tightly, which let a few flies in, and access to the second floor required two sets of stairs since there's no elevator in that section. Even with those issues, the resort's location, views, and overall vibe made the stay enjoyable. With some room refreshes and a bit more maintenance attention, this could easily be a standout property. The setting alone is worth experiencing.

I was looking for a good staycation while also earning American Airlines AAdvantage miles and…read moreloyalty points to maintain my status for another year. I found a great AAdvantage Hotel deal at the Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort and booked it. While it was a great success of a visit in terms of AAdvantage miles and loyalty points, my actual experience at the hotel itself was less to be desired due to the customer service and a big snafu on their part. I also have Hilton Gold status, though as I booked the hotel through a third party site (AAdvantage Hotels), I could see the stay and the stay history in my Hilton app, but I did not receive any benefits for staying there, which was fine as I didn't expect any anyone. I arrived in person to check in and already reserved and prepaid for a King 1 Bedroom Standard Suite, which had a nice view and reasonably spacious room (but not too much larger than a regular room at another hotel). The room was certainly not upgraded though there was parking available right in front of the entrance. I did not receive anything else at check-in nor did it appear that I'd get my regularly complimentary water. I did pay the daily resort charge which includes high speed internet access, access to the Falls Water Village, an hour at the tennis/pickleball court, an hour at the afternoon golf practice facility, two hours for a mountain bike rental, 20% off seasonal spa services, and 15% off select golf apparel. While I didn't use it, I had easy view and access to the Falls Water Village where you could lounge and play all day on their sun-marked terrace where you could find free-form pools, hot tubs, and cabanas. They even have a 138-foot enclosed water slide. When I checked out, I was told that a bill would be sent to me shortly since I did it on the app early, and when I received the bill, there was a charge for my room at the restaurant at the top of the hill called A Different Point of View. The catch is that I never went to eat there during my stay (or at any onsite restaurant since I live in the area and had my meals offsite). I reached out to the hotel who insisted that I did go there to eat. I promised them I didn't eat anywhere onsite and that they need to look at the receipt and see if it actually has my room number. They confirmed it did and that this meant I ate there. I told them to find my name on it and let me know if it was on there. After several more back and forth conversations, they confirmed it wasn't me and would remove the charge. They then mistakenly charged me double. Then they removed one charge, but it took more than a week before they removed the other charge. By the end of the exchanges, it felt like they were blaming me for their own mistake. While the resort is aged and rather pleasant, there certainly are training issues regarding the customer service offered at this property. I do not plan on staying here again in the future.
