The flavour came through with no artificial aftertaste. The double chocolate was not a chocolate donut. My bad for not reading the product description. It was chocolate frosting with chocolate chips to achieve the double title The donut itself was not greasy, but did not rock my socks with awe.

The shop itself looked clean and well-kept, which is always a good start. The employee behind the counter was a bit standoffish, not rude or anything, just not super warm. but hey, maybe it was a long day, so I didn't take it personally. I picked up an assorted half dozen to try a little bit of everything. That's where things got a little mixed. About half the donuts were great, soft, fresh, and hit that perfect sweet spot. The other half? Pretty dry and tasted a bit like leftovers from the day before (or maybe even the day before that). So, I'm on the fence. If I come back, I'll probably stick with the classics instead of the "fun" or seasonal ones, and maybe swing by earlier in the morning when everything's freshly made. I wouldn't cross this place off completely. Just might need to catch them at their best time of day.

Daniel (owner or employee) was super friendly and helpful when I asked about the fillings. Only downside is parking can be a little crazy on weekends, but it's definitely worth a quick stop if you're in the mood for great donuts and coffee.
